Ok, im going to try something ive been thinking about for a while. Ok, so basically, we're gonna have a war. You can be your nation, another made up nation, whatever. What you pretty much do is attack the other person one move at a time. you can only do one thing per move, for instance, you cant move infantry and tanks and call an airstrike at the same time. You may use tanks, infantry, set up defenses, whatever. There are no nukes. You may win by either going on so long that someone gives up, or by making it so that the other person cant win no matter what you do.

OOC: Alright I'll join. Perhaps we could come up with a map with all our nations so we could make correct maneuvers.

I'm in, though it will make my tactics dificult as my Battleplan depends on Infantry, Armored Veichles and Aircraft working in unison.

when would it start?
And there would need to be clarifications about how time progressed in the game, and is this Real Life Tech only?

OOC: Man I Havent Been in a Full Scale Conflict since That Rebellion in Esparada so im aching for some bloodshed! IM IN! But uhhh Grand Nations are you new? because with that amount of posts you arnt fit to even have 1 infantry no offense but you have very little defense and offense. But do as you may but it still is pretty soon to think about war. Why not get some good relations with an alliance and get some trade and build up arms and stuff before you go out into war. i learned that the hard way.

i agree :sniper: but i played a game similar and it was really hard and complicated but if you say it would work and be easy i am in.

Well, the smallest possible nation size is ~7 million. Now, that can compare with Real Life Israel today, which happens to have quite a potent military force. So although they make be small, quality > quantity. One well-trained soldier can defeat one hundred poor-quality warriors.

Yes, but then there are the really big nations that have both quantity and quality. No matter how good he is, one good soldier won't beat a hundred good soldiers.

How modern tech would it be?

My MT nation uses things like a second generation ADATS adapted to a working Sheridan type multipurpose medium tank. Or, a standard electronic warfare superiority weapon system using a working Tacit Rainbow and second generation of Seek Spinner. They don’t exist, but could easily come to pass with today’s electronics and a healthy dose of billions in R&D.

That or past tech is the only way worth doing it.

I'd love to be part of a war. And before anyone comments, I have bought a lot of arms from arms dealing threads, so I'm pretty prepared. But anywho, this looks like great fun:mp5:
