The republic of Tharra extends its greetings to all nations whose economic sector is dominated by uranium production and who possess a strong economy.
First Consul Eugène-Maximilien Cambacérès is interested in establishing a commercial alliance of nations who are the major producers of the world's uranium (our own nation ranking in the top 600), so that international trade can be regulated and profits organized for the countries involved in the said production.

Any nations interested in joining should declare their intent post-haste. If they also have any suggestions for the future organization they are free to offer them here.

The First Consul of the republic has proposed that the organization be governed by an executive council of all member nations, who shall elect an honorary chairman for life. The republic of Tharra further proposes that the AUPN consist of member nations (full members with voting rights) and observer nations (associate members without voting rights). Full members must receive the approval of the entire executive council before taking their seat, while observer members must only receive a two-thirds majority of votes to receive their status.
The consul also proposes that the body's main goals be to coordinate uranium policy between the world's largest national uranium industries.

Greal has a massive uranium industry that also exports. We wish to join this alliance.

Our private sector is dominated by Uranium mining and refinement, so it is in our best interests to join this group. I propose that one of our main ideals should be to lift any bans on the Uranium trade- provided the importing nations can guarantee that they will not allow this uranium to fall into the hands of any terrorists. And to keep things clear we should put together our own list of groups we deem as terrorists.

Our company, as our name suggests, specialise in the mining, refining and sales of rare metals. These include Lanthanides and Actinides, found in abundance across Alfegos. One of the major products we are solely licensed to mine and refine in our home nation is, obviously, uranium. With an output of approximately 50 000 tonnes of uranium ore per year, we produce a substantial amount of the metal, refined in various forms from the "Low Grade 'Dirty' reactor fuel (85)" all the way up to "Ultra-enriched weapon-grade (99.5)". We also vend to major buyers major radioisotopes derived from Uranium waste, and products of "Bred" Uranium.

On behalf of the Gauteng Mining Concern, our largest Private exporter of this material, we would like to extend our wish to join this alliance, our own experimentations into Nuclear capable technologies were cancelled in the early 1980's, so we do not stockpile Uranium and send much of our product for export, I hope you accept our nation into your alliance.
