Embassy Court - the center of government relations inside Vitalità, the beautiful capital of ViZion. Eight miles wide and 16 miles long, walled in and guarded at all times, one can only enjoy the picturesque sights that it offers with its many lush parks, romanic cobblestone roads, and trees lining the walkways mixed in with the various embassies. In the center sits the large Embassy Central building. This building, made of kashmir white granate, is the hub for all communication and dealings with the embassies. Inside, this grand buildings walls are made of the rare Morocco Black marble, while the flooring is of rare Selenite Red Gypsum marble. Ceilings are made of the extremely unique Snake wood.
One can marvel for hours on end at the beauty and detail involved in each and every room of this massive building. However, there will be plenty of time to do that later - for now, it is time to check in with the ViZionarian Ambassador assigned to you.
That is, if you've already got settled in. It would be helpful if you had already arrived.

A Learjet 45 coasted in for landing at Vitalita International Airport. Ambassador Garret Anderson stepped out of the plane once it landed, and went into a brand-new Mercedes-Benz limosine. He rode down the streets and was amazed by Vitalita.
"What architecture," he was heard saying to himself.
Finally, the car pulled in to Embassy Court. He hopped out, walked through the front doors, and headed toward the secretary (OOC: Assuming there is one).
"Can you help me? I believe I have a ViZionarian helped to assign me around by the name of Barry Cash?"

The Embassy Assistant sat at the large front desk, a large fireplace behind her. Across the vast lobby, she saw someone new walk into the building and looking around before approaching the desk.
"Can you help me? I believe I have a ViZionarian helped to assign me around by the name of Barry Cash?" the man asked. "What is your name?" Tosha, the Embassy Assistant, asked the man, as she looked at her computer and typed in Barry Cash. "You're from Kenavt?" she then asked.
"Yes I am, I should have said that before. I would just like to have help settling in to my embassy complex, which is... somewhere within this 8 miles wide and 16 miles long court. A tour of important places in Vitalita would be great also."

She smiled at the man and replied, "Well, Garret, Barry can help you with that. Just head down to the stairs back here," as she turned to her left and pointing down the hall behind here, "Go to the second floor. Head out to the front of the building, and as you near the end of the hall before it curves around to the right, his office is 232-A on your right. If you'd like, I can have someone show you the way."
"I think I can make my way, thanks."
After ten minutes of looking down hallways, reproaches and directions from several ViZionarians, and going down the stairs to the second floor to the front of the building to 232-A by chance, he knocked on the door.
"Hello? Ambassador Garret Anderson from Kenavt? I'm looking for Barry Cash."

A short, porky, 46 year old man with balding black hair and large, thick glasses peaked around a file cabnet. "Ahh, Ambassador Anderson! Yes, yes, come in!" he said cheerfully, quickly closing the cabnet and coming around to greet the Ambassador. "I am Barry. It's great to meet you! Come over, take some weight off your feet. My office is your office." he said, pointing to the large, plush brown sofa along the wall to Garret's right.
"How was your trip in?" he asked.
"Oh-well-um, thank you." Anderson quickly sat into the couch. "I have to say, Vitalita is quite the city. So many works of art-or you could say skyscrapers."

"Ahh, yes, Vitalita is a great city, that is for sure. It's becoming more and more like ViZion City, our old capital, back in the days before the Decade War. But alas, Vitalita is booming now, among the fastest growing in the world. And it is large, too." he said, pointing out a few of the pictures of Vitalita's skyline on the white walls. "But I'm not sure if you have toured the whole city yet or not. Have you?"
"No, I have not. I merely saw great sights on my way here to the Court from the airport."

"Well then, I guess we know one of the things on our agenda over the next week. Tell me, how are things back in Kenavt? I hope all is well." inquired Barry.
At that moment, a young man dressed in a traditional black-on-white suite walked off. "Can I get you an horderve, or a drink, possibly one of our fine wines or another drink?
"No, thank you," said Anderson to the young man.
"All things are well. We just had elections, sending our Duke Andrew da Vincho to the position of Premier. Of course, our Embassy Square, of sorts, in our capital Poiuytrewq has been set up, and I believe I saw a couple of ViZionarians moving in when I drove by on my way here. Do you think I could find my rooms before we do anything else?"

"Yes, we did request an embassy in your country I know. You very well could have seen them arrive. None the less, you haven't found your lot yet? Well, dang! Come on, lets get you to your embassy! No wonder you are in here so soon!" he said, standing up and stretching his back. "Damn back, if I didn't know any better, I woulda thought I broke it years ago the way it feels these days."
Anderson laughed. "I think I'm getting along there. So where is my embassy in the midst of this, when you think about it, 128 square mile complex?"

A black Sikorsky S-92 executive helicopter bearing the Gold Eagle standard of the Dominion hovered as it got clearance to land at Vitalita International Airport. The sleek chopper lowered landing gear from the external bays along the sides of the aircraft and touched down with an almost imperceptible jostle to the passengers inside. From within the plush confines strode, or, rather, limped Dominion Defense Force Colonel (Ret.) Thomas Thorpe.
He wore his olive drab DDF Infantry uniform and leaned heavily on a black mahogany swagger stick with a silver handle. His closely-cropped hair, what was visible from under his cap anyway, was blonde with gray streaks around the temples. Behind him was a small cadre of people who were somewhat sloppily dressed and had bundles of large papers under their arms: the architects for the new embassy. They piled into an SUV and set off for the construction site, where the structure was already half-built.
Behind them disembarked two fully armored Dominion Defense Force troopers, assault rifles slung over their shoulders. The three walked toward a second SUV, a black GMC which, unbeknownst to most people, had an extra armor suite and small reserve oxygen supply to go with its ability to 'button up'. One of the troopers slid into the passenger seat while Thorpe and the second piled into the back. This vehicle moved toward Embassy Central.
The driver was discussing the wonderous acrhitecture of the ViZionarian capital to an awe-struck DDF, while the Colonel looked on with a kind of wistful sadness.
"Yes, this is a nice city," he replied absently, "Beautiful architecture, kind of like home."
The Colonel was in the thick of it during the First City outbreak, a long story for another time. His unit had been charged with holding perimeter and screening for infected as the refugees fled the Residential Quarter. The spires of First City, renowned for their beauty and longstanding symbols of success and prosperity, had burned that day. He had taken a stray bullet in the leg from a fear-crazed civilian trying to defend himself. Thorpe was honorably discharged with full honors and a rousing case of post-conflict depression. This disorder was common to most survivors from First City, as no one in the Capital knew anything of tragedy short of the occasional natural diaster. To see so much of it ruin and awash in blood left scras in thousands of people that never fully healed, the President among them.
The trooper next to him leaned over, "Sir? Are you alright?"
"Fine, Corporal, just fine." he seemed to snap out of it, "Are we there yet?"
The driver groaned, "Oh no, you're not one of THOSE passengers are you?"
The Colonel cracked a smile as they pulled up to the massive building. He and the trooper next to him got out as the GMC pulled away to find a parking spot. The Corporal helped Thorpe up the staircase and int othe main lobby. Once withing view of onlookers however, Thorpe puffed out his chest and walked without the swagger stick as much as possible up to the front desk. He held his Dominion Military tact and slight arrogance to a tee.
He sauntered right up to the front desk and gave the receptionist that no-nonsense look of the Dominino brass, "Excuse me, I am Ambassador Thomas Thorpe, here to meet with ViZionarian Ambassador Terry Docker. I am told he is expecting me?"
The Corporal stood at ease behind the Colonel/Ambassador and Thorpe's expression was somewhat gentle, almost nonchalant, though his body language was quite different.

"Well, lucky for you, I know exactly where you are from here. After all, I am the one chosen to work specifically with you and your embassy." he said. "You're north one mile and roughly half a wide east. And obviously, with so much sprawl, there's alot of space between embassies. So there's tons of open areas for which you walk, run, relax in. Anything." said Barry.
"Why dont you come with me, I'll drive you out there. Show you your embassy. Which, might I add, is quite the beautiful building."
"Thank you very much! Where is the way to your car?"
Garret thought he was going to enjoy being an ambassador-even though before he loathed the idea.
"By the way, my security entourage should be arriving in a couple of weeks. My government hoped ViZionarian forces would be enough for my protection in that time."

As Ambassador Thorpe stated, "Excuse me, I am Ambassador Thomas Thorpe, here to meet with ViZionarian Ambassador Terry Docker. I am told he is expecting me?", the Embassy Assistant Tasha cracked a small laugh out. Yes, she is expecting you. If you to down the hall to your left," she said, pointing to the hall directly to their left across the large lobby, "Terry is in room 177-B on the left. Would you like me to have someone show you the way?" she inquired.

"There hasn't been a situation yet that our military has not been able to handle here." he said proudly. "But my car is down in the underground parking. Just follow me." he said.
They walked out of the room, but instead of going left back towards the stairs, they made a right, and then curved around the corner. A wide hallway offered up sofa's, seats, tables, and a small lounge. One could get any drink or horderve they craved here.
But they were going past that. Not far beyond that was the elevators. And they went down four levels. Walking out, even the parking garage was made of cobblestone. "Oh, yes. And I hope the vehicle you guys have here has a nice suspension, because the cobblestone roads can be a PAIN if you dont." Barry said.
He walked up to the car and pulled on the door handle of the Ando-Trephin Chieftain. It unlocked thanks to his key fob being in his pocket. "Hop in!"
"Snap, I hope we do have good suspension." Garret clambered in. "I have heard of your fine military record, by the way. I have heard a lot."

He then grinned, "And thanks for the offer, but I'm not that old yet as to need to be led around like someone ready for the retirement home. I'm sure the Corporal and I will manage."
With that, he bid her a good afternoon and limped toward the nearest directory. Finding his room number, he jerked his head toward the direction they needed to go and let the trooper take the lead. Following the recptionist's directions, they did find the room fairly easily. The Corporal knocked then opened the door for Thorpe, who cautiously entered.
"Pardon me, Ms. Docker? Ambassador Thomas Thorpe of the Dominion, Retired Colonel of the Dominion Defense Forces at your service."

Barry snickered, "Well, you'll soon find out I guess, huh?" he said. They continued their drive at a leasurely 10 miles per hour - the highest speed allowed in non-emergency situations inside the walls. "So, do you have any questions while we are heading to your embassy?"

Tasha giggled, "It's fine, I'm sure she would understand. She's not the type that tends to worry about that anyway." she responded before they left to see Terry.
In her office, Terry was sitting at her mahogany desk working on some paperwork when the Ambassador and Retired Colonel came knocking. She got up quickly, "Yes, yes, Ambassador Thorpe! Come on in! Welcome in! How are you doing? I'm Terry Docker." she announced, welcoming them in as she came around her desk to greet them.

"No, not at all Barry. Although... do you know if any ceremonies go on here in ViZion that I will need to be present at?"

"Any ceremonies you need to be present for? Well, in a couple months a new president will be elected and sworn in, that's about the closest in the near future that you need to be present for. However, there's always events going on you're welcome to attend here in Vitalita." Barry told him as they neared the property.
In was another minute before they arrived. And as they approached the building, a large, three-floor structure appeared in view. In the shape of a cylinder, the large steel building had ribbons of light slashing around it of various colors that would light up at dusk, offering up a sharp look to it.
"Well, here we are." he said, pulling up along the sidewalk. Grabbing a couple bags to help carry in, they began walking up the pathway towards the building, which was set in about 750 feet from the road - and for good reason. They made their way through a tropical garden and crossed a wooden bridge over a large and rather deep creek that wraps around the building. "You guys are welcome to swim in there - if you would rather not swim in the pool on your roof." he said. "It gets rather hot around here."
Garret's jaw dropped. All this for me? He wondered. It was beautiful! No matter what the Kenavt government said, he was staying here!
"This is beautiful, Barry! Thank you so much!"

"Don't thank me, thank our government. They... take care of their allies and friends well. There's usually no holding back on that." he said. He then pulled out a metal ball about the size of a golf ball. "This is your key. It's one of two ways of opening the door." he told him, then putting the ball into a small hole in the massive stainless steel french doors. You could hear a humming and muted clicking sound. The ball was then dislodged from the hole and Barry grabbed it. At the same time, one could here the large locking mechinisms at work as it unlocked. "Now, we just push here..." Barry said, pushing on a central location on the door and it swung wide open. "The other way is by allowing the door to scan your eyes and hand print."
Inside, the interior had a much warmer feel and design to it. Extensive usage of Birdseye Maple wood in the floor and ceiling offered a very light and airy feel, while the walls were painted different colors, most of which were lighter. Directly ahead of them was a fireplace that was ten feet by ten feet, surrounded in those ten feet by glass on all sides. Above that was a white wall - and one could look up all the way past the three stories in this lobby. Both the second and third floors offered a balcony view of the lobby.
"I hope this place will do for you and your staff." Barry said.
"This is so overwhelming... where to begin..." Garret was speechless. "I think I could spend years here and not see all the beauty ViZion has."
"This is so crazy..."

The Corporal took up his dutiful position outside the office, standing at ease.
Torry Phillips adjusted his sunglasses as he made his way towards the Embassy Central building. The sunlight was hurting his eyes a little after a long flight with little sleep, but even in his state he could take in the fine architecture of the square and see it for what it was - a statement of power and grandeur. He made a note to take a tour of the remainder of Vitalità; see if the wealth was as liberally applied elsewhere.
One could almost, just almost miss the armed soldiers that guarded the square. "Are they here to keep the people out, or us in?" He wondered to himself.
He wandered casually through the main doors. It was hard to believe that this man represented the President of Fraedon personally in all affairs regarding ViZion, that he wield a rather hefty amount of power. You could hardly tell from looking at him - to the rest of the world he appeared somewhat lost amongst the bustling noise in the halls of power.
"Ah, excuse me? I'm looking for Ambassador Patti Reign?"

As the plane doors opened, the tall slim figure, wearing a blue suit, of Rafael Torres emerged from the stationery plane. He had slept for the majority of the journey but he'd woken up jsut before the landing. As he walked across the tarmac to his car he felt the gentle breeze ruffle his short brown hair slightly. As the driver opened the car door for him he turned to his assistant, "How do I look ?" he asked. His assistant looked him up and down, "Fine, sir." They then entered the car.
The Rolls Royce Phantom cruised along the streets of Vitalita as Rafael gazed out of the window. The architecture is incredible here !, he thought to himself. As the car entered the Embassy Court he was greatful for the car's good suspension as it glided over the cobblestones. Rabbid always ensured their Ambassador's were looked after, his luxurious car was proof enough of that. As the car pulled up outside the Embassy Central building, Rafael was once again in awe of the structure. He exited the car and made his way through the doors of the incredible building, only to be more shocked by the beauty of its interior. Best get on with business, he thought and made his way to the receptionists desk.
There was a lady behind the desk who looke like she would be able to help him, "Excuse me, I am Ambassador Rafael Torres. Would you be able to tell me where I can find Yuniesky Beltre please ?" he asked, trying to sound as warm, friendly and polite as he possibly could.

"Ah. Boy is my face red. Okay, um, thoroughly embarrassed as I am, I'll go find her now. Thank you for your assistance."
He beat a hasty retreat. Of course! Well that was just great; five minutes and already they think I'm a sexist. Smoooooooooth.
"I'm not a sexist," he muttered under his breath.
Torry wandered down the corridor. From here on in, he'd just have to keep his mouth shut, and his ears open. Finding the door, he knocked. Twice.

Your city is...breathtaking. I thought the Dominion capital was the pinnacle of civilization, but Vitalita has outright impressed me."
He lay the swagger stick on the floor next to the seat and chuckled, "Were this the Dominion's corporate police state days I'd have been recalled and shot for saying that. Times in my homeland have certainly changed. Much to the dismay of the few corporate powers leftover from those days, civil rights and political freedoms are higher than they've ever been and the economy is doing better now than it ever did with big business running the show. He then focused his sttention back on the Ambassador, "I'd rather we waited until the embassy was finished, which will be about one more work day for our engineers. Then I'd be more than happy to give you the grand tour and you can get the full effect."

"Yes - who's there?" Patti asked as she was shuffling some paperwork.
Torry took a deep breath and strode into the room. "Torry Phillips - I'm the, uh, I'm the guy from Fraedon. You've probably got a file there that has every little detail about my life written on it - don't worry, most of the sensational bits are lies," he smiled to indicate a joke, then continued. "Shall we get straight into it? I'm going to need a briefing on local laws, foreign policy and, oh, is there anywhere here I can get a bite to eat? I'm afraid I don't go in much for plane food..."

"Sorry, where are my manners?" Torry took the offered hand and shook. "I have much to learn about you country, it is so different to my own. Please, after you."

"Don't worry about it," she said as they walked out of the room, "Tell me about your country, and how things are going right now." she said.
"I must say I was most impressed by the architecture of the squares - are the embassies as fine? As for Fraedon, as ever, she remains strong. President Jerome has recently had some problems with terrorist activity, but I suppose this is the consequence of any strong political power. I must say though, we do things very differently to you, and I do have many questions. I believe you have a quaint custom here; freedom of speech? How does that work?"

They made their way down the hall and, near the end of the hall, made a left into a large open area at the backside of the building. There they had a small cafe.
"Thank you. The embassies - each with its own seperate design inside and out - are works of art on their own. We have many made by our own companies here in ViZion, but some request the ability to have build their own, in which case we welcome them to. she said.
"And terrorism. Something not to unfamiliar to ViZion not long ago when there were two organization - Terror of the World and Angelic Freedom - who pledged to destroy us. However, internal terror organizations are practically non-existant. I'm sure that partly has to do with the fact that we have a limited government, expansive freedom of press, speech, and peaceful protest here in ViZion. And the fact that poverty and other things like that are not very common here." Patti said smiling.
"Freedom of speech, though, yes. How does it work? Quite simple - we allow our people to say what they want. As long as they are harming no one, they can say all they want. They can protest - peacefull of course. They can write what they want in the press. It's not something we worry about here.
By the way, what would you like to eat?" she inquired as they arrived at the cafe.

Seeing the plane land and taxi into position at the spawling Vitalita International Airport (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=533713), Ambassador Julius Bevaro exited his black Ando-Trephin Chieftain sedan to await Gregjour Dinascu to exit his aircraft.

Gregjour was astounded at the activity all around him.
Terevesti International Airport in Bulgislavia was a desolate airport. Tourism was banned and it was only ever used for government visits.
Gregjour looked up at the large board showing where planes were coming from and leaving
Back in Bulgislavia there was only ever one destination and that was Besk in the northern neighbor of Bulgislavia, Bulgia. A plane of Bulgian advisors and officials would travel back and forth between Besk and Terevesti once a week apart from that the Terevesti International airport recieved no foriegners and planes.
Gregjour made his way out of the airport. Gregjour looked at a photograph of Julius Bevaro and then looked into the crowds hoping to find a match.... Finally he saw Julius Bevaro and headed over towards him
"Greetings. My name is Gregjour Dinascu but you can just call be Greg" he said reaching out to give a handshake

Julius received the handshake warming. Julius was a hardy family-man, middle-aged and big-boned but not heavyset. His black hair and tanned skin fit the scene a new-coming sees; clear skies and quite warm. As such, khaki shorts and a button-up tropical themed short sleeved shirt was in order for him.
"Greg, nice to meet you. I am Julius Bevaro, but since we are forgoing the 'formal' names, you can call me Jewels - something my family and good friends call me. Welcome to ViZion!" he said with a beaming smile. "How was your flight in?"

As Paul Brint stood in the Embassy Central building, along with his wife, Amelia, and their guards, he looked around at the interior design. It was very impressive, very impressive indeed, but he preferred something in a warm woody texture to all this stone. They were supposed to meet an Embassy official, but there was no one in sight. Then he spotted the front desk. "Wait here," he said to the Wolves and Amelia. "I'll see about this." Walking over to counter, he checked around for someone to speak to.

A CV-30 Vogel, retrofitted for personnel transport, landed at the Vitalia airport, it's nacelles tilted for vertical landing. Vaaridhara (OOC: FYI, Vaaridhara Darshana means "Cloud Watcher" or literally, "Water-carrier Seeing") got down from the aeroplane and took a cab to the Embassy District, marveling at the architecture along the way. Where she came from, the buildings were made for function and few were made for form- pretty much the only buildings made for form AND function were the Parliament Building and The Supreme Court. The only buildings with form, other than those, were the houses of those who could afford it.
When she got off the cab, she saw a bus racing towards her cab. She saw the logo and immediately knew who they were- her bodyguards and crack troopers.

She and her 10 servants followed behind her 19- strong security force along the cobblestone road, the jeep following slowly behind all of them, driven by a Crack Trooper.
She didn't have much trouble getting past the gate. Her security force was pretty much all she needed to convince the security guards that she was the real deal.
Her helicopter was going to come soon, the President had told her.
She walked towards the secretary and said, "My name is Vaaridhara Darshana and I believe that a certain Ambassador Gregg Quinty is to escort me?" She had been brushing up on her English for a long time to say that sentence.
She knew that her native language was a dead one outside of her country, so she couldn't speak in it.

"Ahh, please, call me Gregg!" Gregg Quinty said as he approached. Gregg was a rather eccentric older man in his late 60's with two small gray patches of hair above each ear. The man was always joyful, some would agree much too jolly. A small man in statue, he has a big heart and always treats people like family.
And like his size, his ego and attitude were quite small as well, being very humble the majority of the time. But he does have quite the mean streak in him should someone manage to get on his bad side.
He quickly walked upto her and embraced her in his well-known bear hugs. "Oh Vaaridhara, if I may call you that, it is so so very nice to finally meet you!" he said, finally releasing her. This type of introduction tended to shock most people, but he seemed oblivious to the reactions he normally received. "And who might these fine people be with you? Looks like some guards and fellow staff." he said without letting her answer. Clearly overjoyed, he quickly went to each person and grabbed one of their hands and gave them a big two-handed shake.

The elevator arrived at the third floor and they exited and made a right towards the front of the building. They were on the left side of the building, and straight ahead could see the balcony overlooking the lobby below, and could see through the massive glass window looking out over Embassy Court; a glass window that was essentially the wall spanning the entire width of the lobby front the second floor up.

When the car arrived out the front of the embassy court, Leigh Harding was escorted to the office and informed the secretary that he was there for a diplomatic meeting relating to The Republic of Australiazia and The Constitutional Federal Republic of VIZion.
Secretary: "Richard Jasman will be with you in a moment".

OOC: no problem :) it's good that's you're making the effort, and honestly, your start is the smart way... soooo many people try to start wars... end up getting owned in about 2 posts... and many people stop playing because of that... heh... so you're starting off correctly... build up relations, get your nation rolling... then you can start gettin involved in wars.
This is the best way to build your nation and your RPing quality though. Any questions and most of us vets are more than willing to help ya out... we're all looking to make this RPing community better and better. One note, when RPing, don't do to much talking in the RP for the other person. ;) a little can be fine, but not to much.

Richard Jasman happened to be coming inside as Joanna was talking to Leigh Harding. Walking up to the man, "Hello, you must be Leigh!" he said, extending his right hand for a firm shake. "Welcome to ViZion! How was your trip in?" Richard inquired, then nodding towards some stairs.
Richard was a younger man, mid 30's with dark brown hair parted a quarter of the way up the left side of his hair. With some light freckles and a large nose, he wasn't considered the greatest looking guy in the world, however he exuded confidence and kindness with a great smile that offered a warm welcome and a reassuring feeling to anyone he had never met before.

While Leigh headed up the stairs with Richard, he clumsily missed a step and tripped up the stairs. His face grew red as a tomato and giggled at himself not knowing where to look, Richard couldn't help himself but to laugh both enjoying a friendly laugh with each other. Leigh was led into a board room and toke a seat and started to discuss the new issues of diplomacy between the nations.
Leigh clears his throat and begins, "Now i have been asked to discuss the issue of an alliance, due to Australiazian's small population and rather large land we are seeking a close friend and ally who is able to help us and stand by us for the long hall. While we are able to offer support both diplomatically, militarily and trade if required."

Rather, we are looking at helping offer some training and technology to assist in building your nation up quicker.
"Given the fact you're nation is so spread out in population at this time, it is very, very important that your nation has beyond adequate defenses. A well trained militia will be a huge key to your nations ability to fight off any imperialist pigs. In addition, yes, absolutely having allies is key to being able to defend your nation, especially when you're not built up yet."
Richard grabbed a few pieces of paper and handed them to Leigh, "This is pretty much just saying that we would more definitely like to setup trade and work towards an alliance with your nation. Infact, depending on how well our nations begin working together, you will benefit much more at the beginning as we do like to invest alot into smaller nations." he said with a smile. "Now, first, were you wanting to get settled into your embassy, or were you wanting to get to immediately?"

IC: Airspace over ViZion
The jet cruised over the skies of ViZion, the kind reserved for Angenterian diplomats and their staff. It was a single modified private jet, with the symbol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the side. The jet itself wasn't anything special. Just a way of shipping diplomats back and fourth from the many places they are sent around the world.
Inside, Ambassador Regina Bentus sat silently, observing the landscape of ViZion slowly passing by. Even though they were traveling at high speeds, the landscape below always seemed to be move by as slowly as ever. A fresh graduate from the Imperial Academy, her Political Science degree was still fresh in her mind. She ran a hand through her short, brown hair and pondered what her first assignment would be like. Soon, the stamping of boots brought her out of that train of thought.
"Ambassador." The hard-faced Imperial Guardsman began "We're beginning our descent to Vitalità International Airport. We'll be on the ground within the hour."
"Thank you, Sergeant... Harris?" Regina said, smiling slightly. She took the liberty and time to try to remember the names of the thirty-five people that would be making up her staff and security detail.
"Actually, ma'am, it's Stone. Sergeant David Stone" The guardsman replied, his features softening a little. While she got his name wrong, he was thankful she was trying.
"Ahh, right." Regina nodded, regretting she tried. "Sorry." Oh well, there will be plenty of time to get to know these people later.
Stone simply nodded, and left in the manner he arrived.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The private jet soon touched down in Vitalità International Airport, and Regina was escorted out with three others. The first person was Brad Sullivan, her to-be chief of staff, and two dark-suited members of the Diplomatic Core. Stepping into a waiting staff car, they pulled away from the airport.

"Welcome. I will need to see some identification, please."
"Of course." Regina said, producing her identification card. "Regina Bentus, the Angenterian ambassador." She handed the ID to the guard. "This is Brad Sullivan, my chief of staff." Brad was quick to follow suit, producing his ID and showing it to the guard.

"Welcome to Vitalita, Ms. Bentus and Mr. Sullivan. If you follow this path straight for eight miles, you'll come to the Embass Central building. Harry Smith, the Ambassador assigned to you, will be there to meet with you." he said, stepping away from the vehicle and giving them a nod. "Why, absolutely, Leigh." Richard said, laughing at the 'lost' comment. "You'll get used to it, and surely we will be working together here for some time. Come, follow me to my vehicle." he said as they made their way out of the room and to the right.
A couple doors down on the right, "This is my office. In a couple days this is where we'll I'll be back at." he said, brushing his hand over the chrome "312" numerals on the door.
Downstairs in the basement garage, they stepped into the Ando-Trephin Aurora, a sleek looking full-size luxury sport sedan and began to drive out of the garage. "Now, if you have a vehicle within the Embassy Court walls, note that there is a speed limit of 10 miles per hour." he said as they began to drive over the cobblestone road. "Chances are you'll want to drive lower than that to preserve your suspension though on these roads in here - the cars take a beating when they spend alot of time on this stuff."
They drove forward on Central Avenue, the road running from the main gate to the front of the Embassy Center building. Four block - one and a half miles - down the road they made a left on Fredrickson Row, a park on their right. At the end of the block on their left was a driveway leading to a four-story, spiraling cylindrical-shaped building made of stucco and of a dark red color with an ever so slight orange hue to it.
The driveway was straight for an eight of a mile before forming a circle around a waterfall piece. Richard pulled up to the covered embassy door. "Alright, here we are." he said, exiting the vehicle. The embassy was quite large, each floor being 3,000 square feet.

Harry was, by all means, not much to look at. Five feet tall, a bit extra weight, and gray balding hair with thick glasses, he looked more like a professor in his gray suit with tan patched on the elbows than he did a dignified ambassador. But this sixty year old was quite belying of his looks - both in his friendliness as Alicia just found out and in his ability to get the job done better than most.
"Here, come, come... how'd you like to get some coffee? We've got this great little cafe in here. You hungry too? Surely you are, yes? International travel can make the best of us hungry." he said, finding himself rather funny and laughing at his 'joke' quite heartily. He began making his way quickly with a slight wobble in his walk towards the back side of the embassy. After a few steps he paused, looked back, and waved quickly for her to follow before continuing his speed walk.
"What would you like to eat? And did you want some coffee or something more fitting of such a wonderful lady as yourself?"

It felt strange waking up in another Nation, with no other embassy staff awake he got straight on the phone. *ring ring* "Hello Richard it's Leigh, hope i didn't wake you. I was wondering if you would to join me down the street for a coffee, and possibly talk a little about our deal?"
