After recent elections for 100 new Miroxian Councilmen/women, the new council voted that every year on June 6, starting this year, there will be elections for a new High Councilor, the 101st Councilman/woman. Current Councilmen/women must find someone of their party not on the council to run for High Councilor.

Current High Councilor Durant Adams may not run for reelection and will run the country until a week after voting ceases.

The New Miroxian Council Seating Division Stands as Follows:

Let it here be known that the nation of Zhonghua Renguo, by representation through Emperor Wang Shaoyun, endorse Mr. Franklin Crick for High Counciler of Miroxia.

We wish to know more on Hartford Benson and Chadwick Jairswallace on their beliefs, stances on major issues, and what their major plans are for the future of Miroxia.

Chadwick wants to make peace with the anti-council-state royalists, and wants a USA-like government. LOTS OF ELECTIONS, too. On our economy issue, he would make more governmental positions, even if they sucked at politics. On abortion, he doesn't want it. He would open free trade with regionmates and those with colonies in north miroxia. He isn't worried about the future now, but will worry later.

Benson wants tax rate to go down, slowly, but eventually reach about 30-45% income tax. He would set a national Miroxian Election Day, weaken the military, but have enough for defense. On economy, he would work with the people to create new job oppertunities and take control of major companies, only to franchise them to pour areas. He does not want abortion, and will open free trade to allies. His one concern is to make our economy better for future Miroxians.

Freedom of Speech- Believes that the people should unite in freedom of speech. He will not limit the freedom of speech to anything.
Ownership of guns- To keep Miroxia united, he will only allow those of Miroxia's police forces to own guns, for the safety of all.
Same sex Marrige- He will allow same-sex marrige, because he think it will let Miroxia become closer together if all get their way.
Taxes: He will raise taxes 80% to create jobs in politics.
Military: Does not believe in war and if they are threatened, he will make all efforts of peace.
Foriegn affairs: If Miroxia is not in anyway involved, he will not come into the affair.

FREE ECONOMY

Freedom of Speech- Believes that the people may speak what they want.
Ownership of guns- Will allow gun ownership after a citizen goes through a number of use, safety, and demonstration tests. They must also, after passing the tests, buy a gun license, and a .45 caliber pistol will be given to them. For hunting gun, the same procedure must be used.
Same sex Marrige- He will allow cities and different areas of the country vote on that.
Taxes: He wishes to slowly lower taxes in Miroxia and hopefully get it to 37%.
Military: Wishes to weaken it, but keep it strong enough for self defese.
Foriegn affairs: If a nation, or Miroxian ally, is invaded, under certain circumstances, Miroxia will get involved. He wants only to use the military for defense, not offence.

FREE ECONOMY

OOC: A Free economy is where the corporations are free to conduct their business. The government doesn't interfere in the market and allows industry to boom through no regulations.

A socialised economy is where corporations are taxed rather heavily and there are some regulations on the businesses of the nation. It means that the government watches the businesses carefully and steps in quite often when they break the rules they set out.

A State-owned economy or Communist economy is where the government has totaly control over all business and no private businesses are allowed to exist. It means everyone in the nation is emplyed by the state.

They both stand for free economy.

All candidates, except Ranaldo Sur, believe Imperialism must be stopped. Ronaldo, however, believes in an imperial Miroxia.
