Rezligan Chairman of Joint States Robert Pierre has officially launched the start of the Rezligan Military. This comes after the latest election, in which Robert Pierre and his many MANY reforms brought huge praise from the Mob. Most of the citizens are now quite well off, but the bits of unemployment are suffering, however, Pierre is lobbying to fix this.
From domestic policy to military policy, Robert Pierre has brought to light the black project that he had been working on since the start of his career, a formal Rezligan Military.
Finally appearing on the budget, the Rezligan Military spending was drawn mainly from the Administration's budget from up until now. Now, finally, after such a long amount of time, the new Government of Rezliga has finished the black project and launched out several vessels into Rezligan waters to escort trading vessels that regularly traverse the New Carribean as well as other sections of the World.
With the heightened security position that the Rezligan Government has adopted, it's surprisingly still quite easy for foreigners to get into Rezliga. In fact, Pierre's first act of office was to make it easier for people to immigrate to the country. It is unknown wether this factor will change.
Finally, Rezliga has officially kick-started the business sector once more. All businesses, however, are government regulated and owned, mainly due to the suspicious veiw of private enterprise.
Rezligan officials say this is mianly because of the increased tensions between the New Carribean and Intermio, and that this buildup is only the start of increased military spending. Pierre wishes to announce, however, that there will be absolutely NO military invasions of ANY countries. Rezliga is only doing this in the interest of self defense.
Wether Robert Pierre's new militaristic approach will keep it out of the engagements in the New Carribean is in question, but it looks as though the new Military is now officially here to stay.
