Hineve

Message we managed to intercept in part before the transmission was cut off:
"Brothers and sisters in illicit transactions, I am here to broadcast a message: the seas within the tiny island of Hineve's borders are ripe for the picking, as is its sea trade routes. I call upon all pirate brethren who can make the journey to come and drain this upstart nation's commerce dry. There's plenty of work, and the targets are paying. This window of opportunity cannot be missed. Hineve's maritime trade is ripe for the picking. Take what you can and give nothing back. Too long the forces of the so-called civilized nations have robbed us of our birthright to plunder. Yet we pirates endure. The waters of this vast world are just too big to police entirely."
This is not an encouraging development. The rumors of piracy seem to be gaining more and more credibility. And worse, if these pirates exist, they're encouraging other pirates from other waters to come over and plunder. There isn't even a guarantee the pirates will stay in Hineveyan waters, especially not the ones they bring in from elsewhere. The Hineveyan pirates yes, but not the pirates from elsewhere. They may very well spread.
