WA Passes Nuclear Legislation
On passing the Nuclear Arms Possession Act a number of WA states openly admitted to possesion of nuclear arsenals and others declared their intentions to become nuclear powers.
Within the halls of the WA a seemingly irrelevant debate took place over the nature and implications and even implementation of the act. The act was passed on a large majority which allows WA member states "to possess nuclear weapons to defend themselves from hostile nations." This sentence, among many was questioned for its ambiguity and irrationality however such claims were unheed by the vast amount of WA member states voting on this proposal.
The People's Government's own position is yet to be announced. However it is expected to be forced into a position of compliance with the existing world order and take up arms in what is now multipolar nuclear international system. Most international relations theorists across Tomzinia regard this as the most unstable and war prone international system. Others however see liberty and freedom in the autonomy to stock pile nuclear WMDs.
