Channel 1 WMBC

Prime Minister Jack Daniels walked on to a podium and stood behind a stand with Whiskeasy's national emblem on it, while the national anthem played in the background. He looked up at the camera and said "Loyal citizens of Whiseasy today I bring you sad news. Certain ultra-nationalist movements have launched attacks upon towns and villages in the south of the country, the military is over stretched and fighting on too many fronts. These "freedom fighters" are raping and murdering their way to the top. I believe they.... I believe they may have executed a whole village in the southern mountains, I have a report saying that they executed them all, no survivors, not even the animals. Remain strong citizens, if you wish to help with the war effort find your nearest emergency rally point and ask to enlist. God Save The King" With that he walked off the podium and the jingle of an advertisement tune came on.

Southern Province

Captain Ziggy watched as the village burned to the ground, good he thought. Those SOBs deserved to die, those pigs were just the puppets of the corporations. He turned away and signaled for his men to mount up onto the heavy trucks to start moving away. He was going to WUNP headquarters in the ruins of the city of Bell. There were now 300,000 WUNP forces on the ground and they were growing day. Some said the use of twelve year-olds was inhuman but Ziggy recognized that desperate times needed desperate measures. If anything it would straighten them out nicely. And reinforce their knowledge on right and wrong.

geography: it is a coastal country with it's western side made of coastland and ports, to the south there is an extensive mountain range curling around to the eastern side of the country. The northern and half the eastern borders are marsh and flat lands. It has a climate very similar to Northern Europe (France, Uk) and it is currently spring.
Military: It's forces are armed with equipment similar to that of the british army (I haven't had time to properly make up an arsenal yet) so SA80's and GPMGs for the infantry and Challenger battle tanks. The standard APC is a Viking or Warrior.

The Uir forces were preparing for the battle in Whiskeasy. They'd come in, save the day and then demand compensation for the Uir efforts. It was a simple plan but one often employed by the Uir. First of all the Uir would need to send a message to the Whiskeasy gov't. That way they'd know where to bomb, land and fight.

Here is a map of rough enemy positions. We have stopped the rebels at the river but we do not have the manpower to keep them back. Land your forces near the capital by plane and land them in the north by boat.

Magna Polis Military Harbors 4-8

The scene had been seen so many times before; men of the Federation heading off to war. The ships were being loaded with more supplies and equipment than some thought possible. Large warships were being loaded with missiles and shells, and transport ships were being loaded with members of the Federal Army, the Federal Marine Corps, the Federal Guard, and of course, the Federal Navy. The Air Force was a part of the Navy for organizational ease. Tanks rolled onto massive cargo ships that were made for deploying large amounts of vehicles and whatnot onto beacheads. Helicopters flew over the harbors, transporting personnel to where they were needed. A total of 800,000 troops were being deployed; one of the largest deployments ever done by the GWO.

Intro

General Thaddeus Blarsky sits at a table with one candle burning at the center. He is wearing a plad bib, and sticks his fork into a meatball amongst a scarce amount of spaghetti. He had already consumed a large dinner. Suddenly, another general enters the room, and sits in front of him.

"So, what about it?"

"What about what?" said Thaddeus.

"Whiskeasy. We can't let powerful nations like Greal steal more land."

"Donny. Donny... I already told you. I'm thinking about it."

The other General stabbed a fork onto the other meatball on Thaddeus's plate angrily.

"I'm going with or without you."

"Okay, fine," said Thaddeus, taking his bib off to reveal a green General outfit with brass buttons. "How do we sell this?"

"To the people? They don't matter." The other general said. "I take that as a yes." Thaddeus just nodded. It was time for war.

Back at the port of Pheonix, the capital of Dashie, troops were mobilizing for action. A drill seargant walks in front of a crowd of soldiers to motivate them. "Men, we will be going into battle. The forces of evil on converging on the people of Whiskeasy.

You should be able to sail right up the River into Bowmore, you can use the large docks there. Feel free to use the Airforce Base just north of Bowmore. From now on this shall be phase point Charlie.

Southern Province
Captain Ziggy strolled through the streets of Bell taking in the sights, sounds and smell of the city. He watched a squad of his men burning down a hospital, as he listened to the sound of screaming and mortar fire he headed towards WUNP headquarters. The citizens of the city were being raped, robbed and murdered, and all for the greater good.
Soon he arrived at WUNP command, A collection of men stood around with berets and aviators, not forgetting the compulsory use of machete with these men. He walked through the doors of the old town hall and saw Commander Rai, Commander Rai scared Ziggy. In fact he scared just about everyone. He was saying "...all going according to plan, the pigs have stopped our troops with tanks and artillery at the crossing points of the river. We can do a few things, breakthrough at the bridges or launch a boat attack. The fact that most of the boats along the river have been destroyed is troubling. So we must breakthrough on the bridges. From what I can tell the pigs are wavering, their forces are stretched. We shall attack here." He pointed to a highway bridge crossing the river eastbound. "And the man to lead the attack is our prestigious soldier Captain Ziggy. Tell me how did your mission go?" Ziggy replied by saying "All well, the target was neutralized." He was frightened as his predecessor was shot for not completing an order. Rai smiled a gap toothed smile and said "Good, you should ready your men we attack in one week."

Phase I - LZ Zebra

From the 15 battleships came transports, which loaded up with 50 troops each, and sped toward shore.

"This is a safe area!" said the driver of one of the transports. "We will not hit shore. You will wade in, and secure the beach for the next renforcements.

This was just a technicality, as this was a nonhostile area. However, the units had to be on alert. The humming of the transport engines could be heard as water splashed into the faces of the soldiers as they hit wave by wave. Suddenly the first transport ship stopped.

"Disperse!" yelled the driver of the transport. The wall went down, and the men leaped into the ocean and slowly walked toward shore. Several other soldiers followed.

"Do not alarm the citizens!" said the commander on duty. "We're going to meet with the Whiskeasy army. The commander hopped into a small SUV vehicle, and they drove toward a nearby Whiskeasy base. They arrived at the gates, and asked to speak with the commander on duty.

LZ was to the left of city 2 on the shore.

Incoming troops / Landed Troops

50,000 troops have landed already. 350,000 more are set to land. We are also preparing our stealth bombers, which are enroute to your airforce base, to perform airstrikes on rebel positions.

Due to unemployment and the complete disregard for extremist views by the government, the WUNP formed to protest more extreme government but soon it escalated into guerilla fighting and now this.

As the armored SUV approached the base of the 33rd Armored infantry regiment alarms started to go off, a loud whining sound it called the soldiers to stand to. Colonel Richard Johns was in-charge of the base and was to help escort their new friends troops to the front lines. The base was to become the new staging point for their forward forces and supplies. He walked out of his hut watching third platoon running towards their posts. One of them a young lad of seventeen dropped his helmet and ran back to get it, he turned around to to find the Regimental sergeant-major standing there bawling at him.
"You never go back for your helmet, soldier! What if their was a mortar strike right now, you would be blown to bits! You are on latrine duties for three days! Now get moving private!"
Colonel Johns was a relatively tall man with cropped blonde hair and a well muscled body. He was a fair man and the troops loved him, he was the soldiers soldier. He was also only 27 and in command of a regiment, one of the youngest colonels to do so in the Royal Army his regiment was going to the front lines soon to protect the Eastern bridges. Supposedly the most vulnerable spot on the whole front. The Whiskeasian navy had put frigates and cruisers just of the Northern bridges to provide covering fire while the Sixth Heavy Armored division, Fourth Light Infantry Division and a brigade of engineers covered, mined and rigged the bridge with explosives. The river was huge and not many bridges could span it, a total of three did. The government did not want them blown up unless completely necessary. The other two bridges were quite close to each other on the main highway. The whole Eighth Army was there as well as three squadrons of helicopters and two bomber squadrons. However the Eighth Army was mostly conscripts serving their year in the military so they were sending down Fourth Armored Infantry Brigade to reinforce them. They were also sending the newly created Challenger Mark II battle tank regiment. But this would not be enough as the rebels were fast learning and now had over 50,000 ex Whiskeasian military personal as well as countless foreign helpers from the nearby nations. They were starting to use mortars and it was only a matter of time until they figured out how to use light artillery and AA systems.
Colonel Johns walked to the gate who ordered them open and said "Welcome Commander, to The Commonwealth of Whiskeasy, the most pleasant country in the region!"
He smiled and looked up at the rather gray and foreboding clouds and shrugged.
"My name is Colonel Richard Johns, and I will be escorting your vanguard to the front lines. Please use this base as a staging and supply base. My men will not need it as we will be leaving tomorrow at first light. Prepare yourselves and I hope you brought trucks we will be driving for about forty hours. Tell me commander are you in charge? Because I have a note to give to the General in charge. I have taken the liberty in reading it."

Greetings, the man who has given you this message is one of the finest officers in my army he will help you if you need anything at all. The situation is getting worse. The Ultra-Nationalists push harder everyday, the navy is struggling to patrol the river and rescue citizens. Over 30,000 citizens have been killed so far and it is only a matter of time until this gets worse. They become more intelligent daily using our own and foreign military equipment against us.
The base you are at is called phase point Foxtrot and is now under your control. This man will take the first wave of your troops to the Eastern Bridges to guard against incursions. We will attempt crossings as soon as possible.
