FT War (OOC)

I want to try out an FT battle, so I've decided to set up a situation involving two small fleets/battalions/whatever. since i don't want to end up destroying anyone's important infrastructure or diplomatic relations, my commander-person will be a quasi-rogue commander who confuses some innocent outsiders who accidentally intruded into our galaxy as the perpetrators of some pirate attacks.

since i want to keep it small and prevent damage to future relations, I'd like to ask any chosen opponent that they do not end up contacting their people for reinforcements, and neither will I. I'm not too concerned who wins, if there even is a winner.

Please let me
know if you are interested.

Your Nation might be a little small, there is a Common rule about a number of ships per 1billion population. I don't remember it at this time, though. But I could join in. I've been wanting to have a battle too.

A thousand ships a billion, subject to the anime ninja rule.

IE, the better your ships the less of them you'll have.

the story is that our nation used to be a lot more populous (rather necessary for a society to invent FT), but a recent radiation storm caused by a three-way star collision wiped most of us out. Including noncitizen residents who live and fight w/ us, we have circa 42 million right now. We use a lot of AI technology and droids to lay claim to our empire now, but humans are still preferred- they are sturdier and have intuition.

We'd be willing to fight Soviet Aissur (smallest population, no hard feelings or anything). Post a thread and contact me when ready.

Deata: It's your choice, but I'm not sure how population matters if we're not going to be bringing in reinforcements anyway.

edit: I'm Holy Texas Empire, forgot which account I was on.

just thought I'd mention it, and I need some way to choose, don't I?
