Shiistan Announces Creation of Regular Army


The Tahakis, the ruling party of Shiistan, have announced that the Mujahideen, while still the official Guardians of the Shiistani State, are no longer enough to ensure the protection of the nation. The creation of the Republican Army has been announced today by President al-Khafi. This would create both the Republican Army as well as the Republican Guard, an elite unit which would consist of the chosen best soldiers of the nation. This, combining with the experianced men of the Mujahideen will make for an extremely potent and capable military force.

Muhammed Akir, a former Mujahid Commander, has been chosen to be the new leader of this Army and has gone to work in the selection of its officer Corps, as well as the organisation of the new force. Twenty-five Divisions of men will be assembled as well as all the necessary arms, equipment and munitions that they will need to function as a military force.

Execution Brings International Attention!



MAKTUB, SHIISTAN -

Earlier today a woman, executed by the Takahi regime, has brought international attention to the large Middle-Eastern Nation through her death. Accused of sodomy and infidelity, she was arrested and held in a local jail in the city of Khand.

Judge Abn al-Zarqha, a staunch conservative, declared after a several hour long trial and recess, her to be guilty of the crimes. The punishment, as stated in the Shiistani Code of Law the Sharia, was death. She as well as her lover were taken to a soccer stadium and at half time were shot together by Tahaki officials. An example to the harsh punishments for crimes against Allah's word were made against both of them.

By the Sharia, and its Tahaki interpretation, premarital sexual relations between two consenting adults (regardless of gender) are not illegal. However, when one party is married then both adults are punished as the crime is also considered stealing (as in stealing anothers spouse, and the crime of theft Allah despises most), and conspiracy to commit theft.

The International reaction to this has been mixed. Many nations however have made harsh statements of rebuking the actions of the Tahki Government. The State President has not as of this time made any official statements concerning the execution nor the international reaction.

(Mujahideen Fighters celebrate before going to war)


Today, Imam Ibn Hussein has announced his call to Jihad against the Incorporated States of Blackhelm Confederacy. The catalyst for this recent declaration is the invasion of the small nation of Shoferica by forces of the Griffincrest Corporation, a Blackhelm based multi-national corporation. Claudius Griffincrest, the CEO and founder of the Corporation, has began imperialistic wars for years, stealing the resources of smaller, less defended nations and exploiting its people. The Blackhelm Confederacy is also notorious for its human rights violations regarding its Muslim minorities, and thus is an enemy of Islamic people every where.

The brave Mujahideen Fighters, some fifteen thousand, under the leadership of Commanders Abd al-Nabi, Kamil Dawud, Malik ibn Yahya, and Salih Muhammed Al-Munajjid, have made their landing in the nation earlier this morning. They are ready, standing stoicly before the infidel armies which dare to oppose the might of Allah and His chosen warriors. Surely with His divine providence and grace, the forces of Good shall over come evil and save these people from Godless Domination.
