Sylv walked around the small stateroom. After a magnificent military success- the defeat of a pirate confederation- the 26-year-old had been given the county (domain of a count) of a new territory of his very own. He was now Count Sylv Amrak of the small but fertile moon of Rakhi, and lord of 5000.
It wasn't enough, though. All the current settlers were part-time soldiers, and he needed more full time civilians to run things properly. He also wanted... well, companionship, and a partner in everything, and eventually he would need an heir. He decided to put out some advertisements.
