In an everchanging, global world, international trade is of importance never seen before. To survive, a country must trade resources and people with his neighbours, friends and contemporaries around the world. Agroprom itself is slowly realising this fact - we are an expanding nation of working people.

In the past, Agroprom has historically wished to produce everything it needs in nation, to keep itself strong. However, foreign investment is now needed, and the international community too would benefit from what Agroprom has to offer. These include:

A standard, medium-low minimum wage for workers.
Modern transport network, including regional airports, a huge seaport at Rostok and modern rail network.
There are many industrial facilities in nation, such as Sulphuric Acid facilities and Refineries. This means many resources are freely available for foreign industries.
Regional administration allows easy communication between the government and foreign industry.
Enviromental laws are lax in comparison to other nations, and are controlled by regional governments.

Bascally, what we are suggesting is the construction of foreign industry, buildings and manufacturing facilities on Agroprom soil. Anything is possibly if you enquire - a uranium purification plant, oil refineries, even arms manufacturing facilities. Some examples of this are the Kazakhstanian steel plants in Atryau and Zoogian aircraft manufacturing plant in Rostok.

All we ask is:

80% of workers employed on sight are of Agroprom birth.
50% of profits made from facilities.
Acceptance of Agroprom workers laws, such as minimum wage laws and union laws.
Construction completed by Agroprom builders.
All construction costs absorbed by foreign nations.

We hope you are interested, and our nations can grow tomorrow.

The Kingdom of Grasaland would like to enqiure into the idea of foreign investment in your great nation.

We have had proposals from the Grasalandik Automobile Company who wish to set up a factory to increase output. The factory would employ anywhere between 2500 to 6700 local citizens to work in the factory. We accept all your proposals apart from the 50% profits this is totally unacceptable.

Until such time that the percentage of profit output decreases, we will not be intrested in investing in your country.

Greetings, Comrade Mikhail.

We, from the Holy Empire of Interwebz, would like to establish some of our businesses on your soil.

Specifically, we would like to open web-hosting businesses in the Agroprom. It doesn't matter where specifically, as long as it's possible to make good network connection.
We agree to pay as tax 50% of the profit received after the initial investment is paid off.

Also, if possible, we would like to establish an agreement for some of our people to move into your nation, if they want. The Interwebz is solely an interwebs community, devoid of territory; when our parents kick us out of our basements, we have nowhere to go. However, while entirely socially inept, most of our people are great computer specialists, which are sure to improve your technological level.
Communism is not unknown in the Interwebz, and, indeed, many of us sympathize with or openly support it. All we need is state-provided housing and implied services for those who decide to move.

Signed,
Anonymous A. Anonymous, President of the Internet.

We would be interested in accepting your automotive factories, and feel these would add a valuable boost to local economy in our nation. We are concerned about the profit margin, however - 25% would be our final offer. Remember, this is on on any profits in the factory - so if your factory makes $2 billion, we would make $500 million of that.

Other than this, such a sizeable factory bringing in such a large workforce would certainly benefit both our nations.

We would be most accomodating of your businesses in Agroprom, and give you the right to set up office wherever you wish. Furthermore, visas and work permits for all your citizens will be available over the internet, and via the Agroprom consulate in your nation, which we assume we can set up. We wish your businesses the best in the future, and hope you can further the computing industry in our nation.

We would like to open an Umbrella Corp. Pharmaceutical Lab with in your nation, hoping to hire talented people in that field. As for the conditions, we find them acceptable. We will pay for the construction of the laboratory, at the request that 10% of the workers are from out nation.

After contacting the Grasalandik Automobile Company we have reached an agreement in which 30% of the profits will passed onto your nation. We hope this shows our determination and willingness to invest in your Nation.

As well as this we also understand that the Government run Nordic Gas may be intrested in setting up in your country to look into the possibility of removing the very profitable Natural Gas from your terrority. We understand that such materials are very valueable and Nordic Gas has proposed that of all the gas removed, we return 48% of the profits.

We eagerly await your reply.

Attention: Mikhail Cherny, Foreign Minister, The People's Republic of Agroprom

Dear Minister Cherny,

Our company has heard about the many investment opportunities available in your nation, and would like to extend our operations to the People's Republic. As the largest producer of consumer electronics and home appliances in the Republic of Ruccola, we are currently embarking on an overseas expansion programme, seeking new markets as well as new manufacturing locations. As such, we wish to construct a factory that will produce televisions, telephones, fax machines, refrigerators, microwave ovens, washing machines, dishwashers and clothes dryers for the local market as well as for export. Upon completion of this facility, which is projected to cost approximately $105 million universal standard dollars, we plan to train and employ 2,000 local citizens.

Our company would like to enquire as to whether we are eligible for any tax breaks in regard to the 50% profits tax. We feel that such a tax rate will render our operations much less viable, and reduce the chances of future expansion in Agroprom. Nonetheless, we thank you for your kind attention to this matter, and look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,

Cristoforo Gabrieli
Head of Corporate Communications

30% is an acceptable rate, and all other investment sounds acceptable.

We will also accept Nordic Gas' offer to expand into our nation, and are quite happy with all provided. Construction may begin as soon as wished.

This expansion sounds very interesting, and we would be honoured to be able to provide jobs to so many of our citizens via your foreign investment. We see no reason why the tax rate should not be reduced to 30% as with Grasalandik Automobile Company.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Dear Minister Cherny,

Thank you for your interest in our venture and the extensive support your office has given us. Our company would be more than happy to agree to a 30% profits tax, as this is in line with the levels of taxation prevalent in our own country.

We look forward to obtaining the necessary business, employment and construction permits to establish operations in Agroprom, and hope to hear from you soon.

Yours sincerely,
