The Commonwealth of Tolvan is in need of a replacement for its aging force of Type 32 frigates. These vessels have seen extensive service over the past 30 years and are nearingt he end of their effective service lives. Their replacement must meet the following the criteria:
At least thirty-two (32) cells
At least one (1) gun of 76mm or greater caliber
Speed of 30 knots of more
Ability to carry anti-ship missiles
Hanger space for at least one medium sized helo (12 to 15 tonne range)
Stealth features are desirable but not required
Cost of no more than NS$1 billion per unit
