The morning light shone through the appartment's blinds, waking Emperor Mundus from his sleep. He rubbed his bleary eyes and unshaven chin, and looked across the bed. A beautiful woman slept there, and he had no idea who she was. He slid out of the bed, dressed himself, and left the appartment. Making his way to the building's lobby unrecognized, he got into an unmarked car which took him back to the Imperial Palace and Belkan capitol building. After taking one of several secret enterances into his quarters, he groomed himself and went to his office.
He could not shake the feeling of emptiness that he was left with after the previous night's festivities. He was an infamous playboy, as well as the leader of his nation, yet he had been feeling less and less fulfilled with this lifestyle. God only knew how many tabloid journalists had found shallow graves after trying to reveal one of his affairs. He needed a change for the good. He was tired of this lifestyle. He wanted a wife, a family, a normal, stable life, and was determined to find it.
Later that day, the following telegram was dispatched to nations around the world:
To whom it may concern,
The Emperor of Belkaros, Gnaeus Mundus, is seeking a potential wife. He is planning to meet with interested women at his palace in Belkar to get to know them. If you are interested, please send a short bio to the attatched address. Candidates should be between twenty and thirty five yea s of age, prefferably from a family of influance within her home nation.
