Well I think I'm going to go ahead and set my troops ashore seeing as in the time I've been waiting to see if Rynibar wants anything special to happen with my landing all the stabilization forces have been deploying and building up whilst i sit out at sea...and I'm not going to end up having to storm beaches against some dug in force that came about while I waited for a response

Give him a chance: it's not as if he's on all the time. He's only posted occasioanlly, so dont rush him.

@Colstream, the airship stats are not looking good at all: remember the Ghost-class was a non-rigid airship, meaning that there's no structure to support the weights you're intending to put on it. Plus the lift you'll need for that many missiles means that you'll have to get something bigger than the 150m-long Ghost class airship. Possibly mount that sort of firepower on a modified Consul (if I approve your design - which will need quite a bit more detail: refer to the NS Draftroom article on the Consul near the top of the Aerospace forum.)
Plus you'll be compromising stealth.

At all others, you need surveillance of areas/RADAR info of the entire nation's airspace/enough firepower to wipe a small country off the globe, just come calling for me!

@ Alfegos, OK thanks, they were only prototypes anyway. Plus they are not on my ORBAT in the main thread because i kinda thought you would find a flaw in them.

I am giving him a chance I'm going to do that tonight late this evening...at worst I will end up asking for a retconn and a delay seeing as forces that left after mine are arriving before me due to my wait..that or I'll make my post come before the build up arrives time-line wise

I already have radar coverage across the entire island...well at least the area where I'll be operating and then some outlaying areas...also have satellite reconnaissance and Imagery...I don't plan on laying waist to the land...that would be my withdrawal tactic however

I have it on MS Word- just needs a decrease in the armaments and i will send it again.

We also need a map from Rynibar as well, otherwise we're all flying blind. @ Alfegos, I won't forget to tap you for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaisance, tho I've got tons of ISR birds up and I'm repositioning my Orion reconsats.

Sorry all, I had the joys of returning from a twelve hour shift to a dead phone line last night. Telecoms company were most helpful (hah!), but it only took them overnight to fix it, so I'm back!

A very early version of the map can be found here (http://rynibar.exofire.net/rynibar.png) (BIG file, 2000x2000, 180k). It's really basic, is a lot more angular than Rynibar itself, and is missing some place names and details like elevation and water, but it will at least give an idea as to the basic terrain, and I'm continuously working on it, so fingers crossed it should come on leaps and bounds over the weekend.

Oh, and I'm working on a post that will (hopefully) bring me back up to date with everything that's happened, so expect that within the next hour or so.

As stated in the rp thread I have to leave tonight or tomorrow morning and I am withdrawing from the RP so just ignore all references to my nation made previously

@ Volzgrad, EA and Alfegos (and a few others) were at war earlier this year, but we haven't finished the RP yet, so we're using fluid time to say this is the future when EA and Alfegos are back at peace.

Oops guys - have a hyperactive trigger finger. If you wanna know what those two missiles do which just went at your place, they basically each carry 80 phosphorous bomblets and a large siren in their exhaust. The idea is to break morale with an awful screaming noise (high-pitched, loud, designed to scare), and with fire from said bomblets. Each missile is guided by GPS to position, so rather difficult to trick.

Not full-scale hostilities, just a warning shot.

Yea it sucks...but we're at war right now so all I can I do is just what my orders tell me

I'm here. It seems at lot of my longer posts are being held for moderator approval, which means by the time it appears, it's about half a dozen posts back...

I'm a tad lost in the whole thread right now, so if you need a direct response from me, say so here and I'll get right on it.

can all RSFOR nations set up embassies in my nation? some already have, but I would like to make stronger ties between our nations

Could everyone copt this map and draw where they think they placements are, i.e. Volzgrad's beach head is somewhere along the south coust, could you draw it in and post it, as with RONE,RTWO,FOB, and the eastern and western beach heads (I belive Lynion holds that side.)

My bad, Im still new to this RPing lark, and I got confused! :confused:

Don't worry about it, Burtilana, I'm pretty new myself (well, to this type of RP anyway.). Vlad's based in Grinsford. There's an absolutely manic amount of names, numbers and places getting flung about in the RP thread, and my brains a little bit cabbaged at the moment. Confused doesn't quite cover it ;)

I've taken the western side of the island and I'll update my position as well which is when i take Hewdon Province.

I've being thinking about the position of all troops and I think i'm close to it but I may be off.

Rynibar controls: Manera, Ashop and most of Frampston Provinces
Other Allied Forces Control: Bamfield, two provinces next to Anglernia, Anglernia, Tirosus and the Kingsbower provinces.
Lynion Controls: Frampston and small part of Frampston Province, Grinsforn, parts of other areas but very small and Hewdon Province (which will be taken within a few hours).
Volzgard Controls: Underhill, Underhill province, Junding and the province west to Jundin itself.

I've left three provinces white which means unclaim or held by rebels.

That seems fair layout.
Lynion, could we RP your troops coming into Grinsform so my men know about it.

Sorry guys, I have decided also to leave the Rp so i can spend more time getting ready to join the Royal Air Force. I might actually leave Nationstates starting Tomorow.

Vamperial Headmaster Knight Lee went along with the troops as they marched along an island road heading towards the port city. The main unit had landed north of the city and the navy was arriving in from the west. They also had two squadrons flying over from the south just to make sure there wasn't any rebel forces heading towards them or enemy forces. Lee was riding on the back of the new Tiger Tank while the rest of the battalion was either in troop transport carriers, APC's or riding on a Tiger Tank.

As they entered the gates the port city, they were greeted by another allied force.

Hehe, a long post just went through with no trouble, so touch wood, I'm no longer classified as a potential spammer and can get on with some uninterrupted RP!

@ Volzgrad, it would be a massive help to know what forces you have in theatre, such as an order of battle and rough idea of where they are.

Volzgrad fleet is stationed at Underhill harbour but numbers and class seems to be limited. If Volzgrad has an aircraft carrier sitting at Underhill Harbour, then it would have an escort of some kind.

Firstly, can Zolgrad please post an order of battle! It's impossible to RP a war without full disclousre from all sides over what they have. Every player except Zolzgrad, to my knowledge, posted their OOB in the main thread. It would also be good for everyone to mark their positions on the map too. Ideally Rynibar should be tracking the conflict on the map, but I can do it if no one else objects. btw. without an idea of who and where the enemy is, players have to fill in details for themselves which then leads to the problems we're seeing with others calling casualties for other players.

Secondly, I think Volzgrad should be allowed to retcon that he DID make a larger landing originally. When I suggested he scaled back the numbers it was when RSFOR had limited numbers on the ground and Volzgrad could count on the support of Gataway. Now he's on his own and everyone has piled in larger and larger forces. I therefore suggest Volzgrad be allowed to say he had landed half a million or more on the island (perhaps another half million on their way) just so he has a reasonable chance in this. Otherwise it's just a turkey shoot, which is neither sporting or challenging.

That'll be hard since Volzgrad is badly surrounded. His fleet is getting shelled to scrap, Allied Forces are advancing from the south, east and north. He's basically boxed in. He should've being more perpared to do so to avoid this sort of thing. I'll admit Volzgrad is a courages type when it comes to having his fleet boxed in and bearly couldn't do anything I'll admit that. But everyone has to admit they are being defeated.

I've already lost 100 planes just to the attack and I'll state that my frigates, destoryers and cruisers are damage and the odd one sunk just to keep Volzgrad happy.

Talking about god-moding: why the blazes doesn't Volzgrad simply read the posts before his? Or does he simply think he is just too cool to do so?

I don't agree to Volzgrad having more troops arriving when there is a high chance it'll be intercepted by an air force of the RSFOR!

Lynion has responded with conditions and we request that all nations in the Rynibar conflict read it.
