OOC: This is my coming back intro! I've been quite busy lately..
IC:
President Arnold sat in his chair in the Oval Office and he put his hand to his head, quite tired as of late. He stood up and surveyed the office and he sighed and he wondered why he was still even in this office. The President knew that he was still making good and valid decisions, but the people did not support him as they used to. However, he did not listen to the news anymore which was slamming him left and right for his actions to push the Islamic Jihadists out of the nation by force, and his no diplomacy with the Jihadists had gotten him quite a bit slammed.
He walked over and picked up a paper which said "Stalin or Hitler? Is President Arnold dangerous?" With an angry expression on his face, he shredded up the newspaper and threw it into the fireplace at the end of the room. He said to himself "Why, why? I've led my people reasonably well for the last twelve years, and I know I've done some things wrong, but why are they so ungrateful? I've protected them from dangers that even themselves they were not totally aware? I took action against the terrorists and yet my reputation declines? Time itself must untie this knot that they themselves hath set against me. It seems like they are ever more pressuring me for no national church, yet there is no other way."
A man walked into the room, General Morer and he said "President, there is a national-socialist group at the gates of the Blue-House, demanding that you let their candidate Mike Schreel run in an election for congress." The President replied "Tell them to go away, as far as I'm concerned they may not, or will not ever run during my tenure." General Morer replied "Sir, they are threatening a civil war." The President said "Then arrest them! They have already spoken treason? I would've been willing a month or so ago to let Mike run in the election, but all the evidence that I've gathered suggest that he is gathering people close around him to take over the congress via bribery and other sorts of electionry foolery. Then, if the national-socialists take over the congress, then imagine what they will do for a presidency." He nodded and walked off to comply with the President's orders.
OOC2: You can have interaction with the president, the national-socialist group, or your press can do something on this. This will turn into a revolution, the sides will be the Democratic Government and the National Socialist Rebels.
