OOC Explanation: Because I have a variety of export threads, with various products in them, and various IC companies, and so forth, I decided to integrate all my civilian exports into one uberstorefront of ultimate destiny. This will make life easier on the readers of II that don't see five or six Allanean threads on top all at once, and also on the people who somehow want to buy my stuff.

My single guideline for this storefront:

1. Please do not post placing orders on civilian equipment. Because this storefront is almost completely for civilian products, you are likely to be importing them every year as your citizens buy more cars, clothes, and so forth. Just specify how many of each thing your people buy every year, and we'll all be fine. For dual-use products, like guns, make a per-annum order if it's your citizens who are buying the guns, or a single order if it's your Army.

And there is yet more. We care for the poor as well – so far, ten percent, one out of ten students in our schools study for free in areas where school vouchers do not exist. We are a much more socially-conscious corporation then many socialist institutions!

While I must commend Allanea for the variety of companies released forth on a global scale, I must confess it is not where our interests lie. Instead we are looking for the trade of raw materials of which everyone may benefit, or to offer our services in contract to ferry your desired exportaions to their destinations.

Dear 'random Allanean official',

The East Caribbean Trading Co. is a maritime trade and shipping company, and has been for over four-hundred years. Thus, we would be willing to purchase quantities of any raw material, resource or product that we could obtain a profit from in an international market. We are open to your offers, and would also suffice as an appropriate liaison between Allanea and our regional neighbours with which to establish greater trade in the New Caribbean.

Although the E.C.T.Co. operates throughout many nations, and is indeed the de facto government of certain colonies out with Atlantis' sphere of influence, our central base of operations is, and has always been, located in the Second City itself. Thus, in order to quote tariffs for your reciprocal system I would have to look t'ward Atlantis, where there are none. Unlike our mercantile brothers of old, The Sovereign Atlantian Kingdom has long believed in free trade although purely for the benefit of Atlantis itself. Atlantis is a thalassocratic society and therefor has very little firm land under the rule of its monarchy, preferring to traverse the open seas instead. Atlantis survives on its ancient trade networks, the services of its many merchant fleets and through the commission gained from these activities. Should you wish to commence formal trade with Atlantis Eternal nonetheless, I suggest you contact the office of the Chancellor instead, however ultimately it will be the E.C.T.Co. that will be contracted once an agreement has been established.

The Crown Government of Barronia has, in line with the State Chamber of Commerce, agreed to approach the Demented Schooling Corporation with an offer to teach Barronia's children.

Whilst DSC would not be expected to take care of the entirety of schooling, streamlining means that inevitably, the top 1% of students in their fields require that additional touch that we feel DSC can offer us.

In return for an exclusive government contracts, fees paid, and a bonus based on results, we'd like to ask DSC to teach that top 1%. They will require an intensive, boarding-school, secular hard-science and engineering-based schooling, followed by Military Officer training.

Over 600,000 students pass through Barronia's education system every year, and DSC would be expected to provide Super-Elite schooling to the 1% from 11 years of age to 18 years of age. This looks at DSC schooling around 15,000 children.

At $50,000 p/a, this runs a total of $750,000,000 p/a, with a $5,000 bonus for each child that receives a top grade.

For the Military Training, we hope that this can be integrated into the schooling - however, we are prepared to make this an after-educatory system.

While the exact nature of the studies will differ from year to year, the focus of the schools will be on mathematics, the 'real sciences', and applied engineering and computer science, with sufficient humanitarian education to make sure the young Barronians grow up to become sophisticated citizens and diplomats. We recommend at least 5% of the schools we build have a humanitarian makeup, to satisfy the needs for specialized programs.

Your suggestions are noted, and we wish to adapt our contract to allow for 5% of schools built to allow for a humanitarian-based schooling approach.

For "Military Training", we believe that, on further consideration, a series of paramilitary schools would be of better use - the students will require an extensive physical education program, with strategy and weapons handling integrated into that. There should be some specialisation in the academies, allowing for students to choose the sector of the military they wish to go into: frontline infantry, engineering, piloting, naval navigation, et cetera.

Further to our original contract, we wish to multiply the number of schools by five, and add 10 paramilitary academies.

It is with a hint of regret, regret that we ourselves could not fulfill the task with Better Schooling, Inc., that we must invite your corporation to establish itself within the Vanteland.

Let me start, first though, with an explanation of the current education system within the Vanteland. It began in the early days with Better Schooling, Inc., set up by investors within this very conglomerate to answer various petitions from the public concerning education. Prior to this point, most children either went to church-sponsored schools, or were home-schooled. However, when Better Schooling came to the scene, both of these markets decreased steadily, with homeschooling widely abandoned.

Now, after the Half-Market Act, which restricts companies to holding no more than half of the market for any particular industry, we can expand no further. And what is worse, home-schooling and, to a lesser extent, religious schools, are both fading, forcing us to cut back on our command, and leaving half of the children in our nation inadequantly educated - which basically guarantees they will go to the factories or farms.

And so, it is on these grounds that we must invite you to establish five academies within the Vanteland, sponsored by Better Schooling itself. These academies are to be two baseline, one of which is to be Christian, one advanced, one elite, as well as one military academy. These schools are to be named, respectively, after Tucker Boot, St. George, Cecil Rhodes, King Alexander II, and Ghaldring Akhari.

OOC: for RP purposes, I regard this nation as having a much lower population than the game mechanics suggest it has, and although there hasn't been a national census lately (i.e. I haven't actually settled on an exact number yet...) its total population is probably only in the range of 20-30 million.
The country has been isolated from most outside contact until the last few years, so its people are used to doing things their own way... and Ursines, at least of the types that we have here, are generally slow to accept change.
Also, the country still has a Tech Level that (apart from recent imports, and a few specialised industries such as the motorcycle manufacturing one...) is basically comparable to -- at best -- the situation in RL's 'Western' nations around the 1880s or thereabouts, with a mostly-rural population, so there simply aren't large enough urban masses present to support many fast-food establishments of any type.
I'm therefore assuming that the initial take-up of franchises would be mostly in the cities & main towns of those areas that already have the highest levels of contact with the outside world, and will spread from there later on....
