History: Questers has a long and rich history of shipbuilding, dating back hundreds of years to the formation of the Royale Navy, and has fought and won many wars and battles throughout time, coming out as not only a clear heavyweight competitor to any nation on the planet but also as a nation and Navy possessive of good ships, both civilian and military, and a highly competitive shipbuilding industry, the only industry in Questers not to be negatively affected by State intervention in the economy and the only industry to pull a profit out of the depression. From QAE to Beaufort Naval Industries, all major Questarian shipbuilding firms (and there are many minor ones that produce both military and civilian ships that are equally competitive) in the past have been Nationalised. However, in recent years, downturn in Beaufort Naval Industries’s sales and the Governments wish to slash spending has led to pressure for the Questarian shipbuilding industry to be privatised.
The 1963 Shipping Privatisation Act disbanded Beaufort Naval Industries, and after a week’s worth of gobbling up the split up shipyards, a number of various companies merged together to form the Consolidated Naval Shipyards, offering a number of ships that BNI previously had offered, and some more that these private companies or the Navy had designed. CNC Group is the premier export shipbuilder of Questers that sells the Navy’s frontline vessels and combat systems to foreign states.
Protocol of Design and Construction: CNC Group will provide your ships to you as they are designed, with the electronics designed, and with civilian engineers and technicians for a period of six months to show your Navy how to operate and maintain the vessels. This comes with the price, and if it appears that CNC Group’s vessels are more expensive than other nations – well, you just have to look at this extra service to see one reason why its best to import arms from us and not from other competitors – Consolidated Naval Construction offers you full training in terms of how to use equipment that other companies do not. You will find your Navy’s crews well acquainted in all areas of the ship by the time the engineers and technicians have to leave, and is also useful in training. CNC Group fully covers insurance for our workers and they will travel on ships during battle if necessary, assuming they are also paid the same rate as the Navy’s sailors are for their job. Danger-pay is covered by CNC Group.
CNC Group will, once received your order, lay down the ships as soon as possible in the yards available to the Group. Usually we have enough for full orders but sometimes there will be delays. Extra payment is usually enough to make sure your order does not have to be put on delay; this extra payment is usually not set by us, however, and is down to the nation to see how much extra they are willing to pay in terms of reduced waiting time for their vessels delivery. At CNC Group we strive to provide the best and will always use top-quality materials and building methods – after all, defence exports, especially shipbuilding, provide a massive part of the Questarian economy’s competitiveness, and we always keep up to date, and are in fact a leader, of new methods to increase production time and quality for our shipping.
CNC Group does not outsource manufacturing of spare parts and we do not allow manufacture of spare parts from other countries. We are protected constitutionally to have a monopoly on spare parts production and the Military Export Replacement Material Act allows the Government to act on our behalf with all its diplomatic and military power to ensure that our ability to remain the sole provider of spare parts on the products we sell is upheld. Often the Government may inform CNC Group that there is an arms embargo on a certain nation and that we are not allowed to sell ships or spare parts to them.

OOC Notes: Some stuff on the catalogue links back to BNI – that’s just because its useful, that thread is now defunct, don’t post there. I might, at some point, have it locked.
In terms of how long ships take to arrive, this is unwritten and I will never respond ICly to any query about it – because of the nature of NS, its actually impossible to time ship builds with non-fluid RP – it takes several years at best to build a ship and although I will never give precise times, you can assume them to arrive in about 2-3 weeks IRL, unless you are in a war RP, or are about to enter one, and then I will insist that shipping arrives after the RP is finished. Remember though, ships
Unlike other storefronts I don’t demand that you check your budget, and I won’t check you budget, but if it appears you are a small country or have a crappy economy I will check up on you ICly to see if you are auditing payments etc and if it appears you aren’t paying CNC Group, then I will take IC action, in the form of stopping delivery, spare parts, and perhaps military action.
In terms of spare parts, you can assume that if you need them, CNC will sell you them, unless I explicitly cut you off.
Also, I’m not held responsible if you decide to use my ships and manage your Navy in a shitty way – if you don’t understand tactics, technology, and doctrine, then you will lose any NS force, no matter how good the equipment, to a well-led and understood RL force. This counts in the sea, land and air. If you’re losing, re-evaluate your tactics, not my products… Thanks.
Why should I trust your ships to be non-wank/good/whatever?: Er… if you want credentials, I do a lot of peer-reviewing on the Draftroom, and I have “Best Naval Warfare Designer 2007” and “Most Improved Designer 2007” from there. People have asked me if I am a shipbuilder before; no, don’t be so stupid, I just do this for fun and for a hobby, I have no maths or physics skill whatsoever and my interest occupation field is Law, not shipwrighting. I just enjoy the Navy and such and decided to make it my forte in NS. You don’t have to trust me over anyone else particularly (apart from the fact I’m rather well read), but honestly… do you really want to buy from DMG?

Type 47 Captain Class Guided Missile Destroyer
Design: The Type 47 is a small Guided Missile vessel capable of general purpose warfare. The design herself is conventional, primarily for ease of maintenance and for cost, as the most expensive individual part of the Type 47's equipment is probably its enclosed mast which houses most of the ship's electronics. Capable, as with most R.N. ships, of launching and recovering and housing helicopters, she can contain a Westland Lynx or a LAMPS helicopter within her.
However, for anti-submarine purposes the most interesting weapon of the Type 47 is its AS-18S Heron vertical launch cells, with contain nine missiles. With these weapons it was thought that the AS-18S Complex mounted on the Type 47 was capable of sinking three submarines, with three hits required. The confidence of the designers lay in the type of weapon. Detecting a submarine with its hull Sonar or even with the Helicopter's Dipping Sonar, the Destroyer then uses its supercomputer housed in the enclosed mast to create a firing solution. Up to a distance of 50km the AS-18S Heron is launched and flies to its target, before diving and releasing the 330mm homing torpedo from the missile's body. In addition to this system the ship mounts torpedoes and helicopters to engage submarines.
For air defence, the S.105D AESA Multifunction RADAR is capable of spotting and acquiring airborne targets at a reachable distance of 400km, and its firing system can achieve a firing solution from far longer, because the S.105D can also be interlinked with an AWACs system. By the time targets detected 800km away would have hit the ship, the S.105D and its assosciated Fire Control Systems and Radars will already have created a firing solution and fired missiles towards the target, intercepting it far outside the ship's danger zone. Of course, the exact use of the S.105D is up to the ship's commander and it can make full use of strategies such as look-shoot-look or shoot-look-shoot pattern of missile defence. The VLS can also quad pack more missiles, meaning it can fire up to 128 smaller missiles like ESSM instead of bigger, bulkier SAMs like SA-38. Any possibility can be mixed and matched - even SSMs that fit can be fired from the ship's VLS.
For anti-ship duties, the two quad box launches for the P982 (of course, other missiles can be fitted) with their boosters allows the Battle Class to strike out at surface targets up to 500km away. Its high speed and missile-gun armament make it perfect as a strike destroyer too - missiles such as the SS-N-77 or the USN's Harpoon/Russian Navy Kh-35 can be fitted to the main Hot Launch VLS with little to no trouble at all, making the Battle Class DDG a formidable foe for its size. The two single 88mm guns mounted in the centreline on their protected magazines can fire at 120rpm with super-rapid style rounds. Accompanied by the ship's fast-fifty CIWS and the 13mm machine guns they make up the gun-complement which is automated apart from the machine guns.
The last weapon mounted is the 42-Shot Mk.445 Rolling Airframe Launcher, installed on the rearmost part of the hangar where it does not interfere with helicopter operations. It provides short range surface to air or surface to missile defence for the vessel and is vital for its survival and for the survival of ships it is escorting.

Type 33 Auction Class Export Missile Frigate
Design: The Type 32 was designed specifically for cheap and competitive export. Not used in the Royal Navy, the Type 32 however does see service in Colonial Forces such as the East Continentian Colonial Army Navy, and the Seylon Local Colonial Defence Force, where it is classed as a Light Destroyer and Patrol Destroyer respectively. In these services it is renowned for its low maintenance needs and costs and for its cheapness in production and the space it affords its crew.
It's sensors and armament consist of a powerful yet simple 3D surveillance radar with a scanning and acquiring range of 250km. A total of 45 targets can be tracked either in the air or on the sea and engaged with gunfire or with the SA.38E missiles in the swing-arm launcher. It can engage submarines with its helicopter or torpedoes and can defend itself with the MG-50 mounts, capable of mounting any weapon imaginable short of a dual 50mm gun, and with the 'fast-fifty' CIWS autocannon. The 127mm gun can engage shore, ship and air targets.
A navy may consider the simple yet cheap Auction class frigate/light destroyer for purchase because of its use in coastal ASW and patrol operations and for its extreme simpleness in running, its speed, light displacement, low crew due to high automation and its general multipurpose capabilities, not as a fleet ship but as a capable littoral or patrol vessel.

TYPE 10 'MARKET' CLASS EXPORT CORVETTE
Protection: Protection is provided by a 8.5mm steel layer covering 65% of the ship and a 15mm kevlar layer covering 80% of the ship - all parts of the steel are backed by kevlar. Crew areas, navigation, and ammunition storage are bolstered by an extra 6mm of steel. This allows protection from 7.62x39 and 7.62x51/54mm rounds and in the up armoured areas from 12.7mm rounds.
Armament: In typical Questarian tradition the ship is designed to be able to bring to bear maximum firepower on a single target - compared to other submissions which boasted wing guns, the turret-based design of the Questarian offer means that in operations , it would be possible, for example, for a Market class to bring to bear six 20mm and three 14.5mm guns - or even eleven 12.7mm guns.
These Riverine vessels can even, with the least of trouble double as fast attack craft, swapping out their guns for torpedo launchers. They can provide fire support to troops on the ground with mortars and flamethrowers, or attack infiltrating submarines with depth charges, rockets, and torpedoes, or clear mines in preperations for mounting operations. They even have anti-tank/bunker capability in the form of recoiless rifles and of course mortars.
The two MG-50 mountings can fit a variety of weapons:
Cannons: single/dual//triple, 55/45mm, 30/27/25mm, 20mm
Recoilless Rifles: 60mm, 80mm, 105mm
ATGMs: All ATGMs
Various Rocket Launchers
Mortars: 45mm, 60mm, 72mm, 80mm
Napalm Flamethrowers
Anti Sub: RBUs, Depth Charge Throwers
Machine Guns: 7.62mm chaingun, dual/quad 14.5mm/12.7mm
Torpedo Launchers: dual/triple 200mm
In terms of other modular weaponry, the ship is highly convertible. The rear MANPADs section holds any MANPADS, perhaps even in a dual configuration and although it can be manually targeted, is usually automated via the FCS and manually reloaded by the crew. Heavy Weapon slots can fit HMGs, MMGs, LMGs and other various support weapons. The rear MANPADs and gun slot can be replaced by a fire control radar and a rolling airframe missile system. The stern is also easily moddable into a minelaying platform or a towed sonar or even a UAV platform.
Miscellaenous: Propulsion stems from a single Voith-Schneider layout Jackson MB-80 propeller that provides incredibly maneouvrability, useful for river situations. The boat can mount two RIBs for a marine insertion. An example is a drugs operation mounted in the colony of Seylon were six Market Class vessels of the Seylon Royal Naval Coastal Patrol Guard launched a company of marines, supported them with gunfire, mortars and flamethrowers, wiping out a troublesome drug cartel.

Western ship costs reflect a tremendous expense in "engineer welfare." Essentially engineering firms are wildly overpaid to keep them in business because not having a naval engineering industry in your nation is even more expensive. When purchased in quantity, the price per unit should drop dramatically.
Another source of extreme costs is the low quantity of the electronics purchased for military units currently.
There is also no meaningful drive to simplify and reduce construction costs of naval vessels in current NATO nations. Shipyard workers, defense firm software engineers, and firms in the ship making field all vote and donate to their representatives. The ships currently built are expensive because they are built to employ contractors, not defend the nation.
Finally, the low numbers of ships built in each class in current production increases the cost per unit far out of bounds. Tremendous amount of effort goes into re-inventing wheels for each ship built.
In reality, there is no good reason that a conventionally powered destroyer built to a standard design in class numbers over 20 should cost more than $300 million. There is no reason why a nuclear powered destroyer produced in class numbers over 20 should cost more than $400 million. In class numbers over 50 units, another $50 million can easily be shaved off.
Crewing all those ships is another question, but if certain inane protocols of Navy behavior can be kept in check ("acres of brass, each ship must have acres of brass, all of it shined by hand every day...EVERY DAY!"), ship manning can decrease precipitously. Destroyers with crews smaller than 100 are possible, but suffer serious degradation in their ability to control damage.
This post presents a very nice selection of ships, but they are all wildly overpriced if purchased in quantity.

ooc: Would there be a way to make CNC my default Naval provider...CNC ships would make up 100% of the Imperial Navy (once all other non CNC vessels were decommissioned and replaced by CNC vessels) jw seeing as I'm really tired of ordering a few ships at a time from several different places...that and I know I won't be accused of wanking if I got my vessels here...my proposal would be 1/3 my defense budget per year for CNC to provide my naval vessels.

Dear Sir/Madam:
It comes with immense pleasure and indeed honour that we have decided that the Questarian naval development industry is the prime and logical choice to replenish Barronia's needs.
Barronia operates a fairly defensive naval force; far gone are the days where Barronia would inevitably step in to conflicts of any proportion. Since the Great Exodus and our adaptation of the Crown Government as a result, Barronia has looked more to the safety of our own borders than any others.
We hope that Consolidated Naval Construction will enable us to do this is an excellent, efficient, and above everything, all-encompassing fashion.
As such, we would like to place the following order.
Small Craft
Royal Coastal Nautical Monitoring Service
200 Type 10 Corvettes
100 Type 14 Corvettes
50 Type 27 Frigates
50 Westland Wellington HAS.2
Total Cost $50,600,000,000

The current willingness of the US Navy and its NATO allies to subsidize excruciatingly expensive ships in small numbers is causing substantial weaknesses for the security efforts of the West.
Let me put this differently. On its best day, the DDG-1000 cannot destroy 100 corvettes that cost $30 million each. It cannot destroy 10 submarines that cost $300 million each. What it can do against 1,000 heavy patrol boats costing $3 million each is hurt some, call for help, and then sink ignominiously. Pretending that $3 billion dollar ships do anything other than keep some very expensive contractors in and around Washington, D.C. employed is delusional.
While your price list is reasonable for singleton units, they are excessive for mainline production. All you have to do is pay for ships that meet quality standards and come in on time. Open the competition to anybody who will produce the ships in a timely manner and build to a simplified design specification. Fully 10% of the cost of these ships is paying people to read the encyclopedic specification sheets.

err i'm no fan of the DDG-1000 but 1000 Patrol boats vs a Cruiser like the DDG-1000?.
lets work this out shall we. the DDG-1000 has
two 155mm Advanced gun systems with a total of about 900 rounds
two Mk 110 57 mm guns with a few thousand rounds
80 VLS cells
and assuming standard USN practice she will have two 25mm Autocannons and a few 12.7mms as well as a few rifles and carbines in the weapons lockers.
......the DDG-1000 would wipe the floor with almost all of them. it would start of by blasting a few of them with the tomahawks and harpoons from long range then open up with the 155mm cannons. By the time the 155s run out of ammo the patrol boats will probably have retreated. But if we assume that the people attacking the DDG-1000 really really want to die and press their attack the Mk 110s will mop up the survivors before they can get in range with their 25 and 30mm cannons.
also the going price for patrol boats is around 25 million not 3 million

Type 540 SS

Dated June the Twelfth, by the Request of His Majesty and Parliament
To Whom It May Concern In the Questarian Consolidated Naval Construction
The Imperial Cohenian Navy, at this time, is at a rather paltry state. As noted in a previous Questarian Poll of Formidable Navies, the Imperial Cohenian Navy ranked nearest towards the bottom of the list. In a world filled with tyranny and lacking freedom, we, the Cohenians, have decided to contact the Questarian Consolidated Naval Construction Conglomerate in order to make the Imperial Cohenian Navy one that is feared by despots and tyrants throughout Haven and the world.
In this contract, the Cohenians request that the Questarian Consolidated Naval Construction provide a large, formidable navy capable of defeating outposts of tyranny throughout Haven and the world. Included are to be not only naval vessels but also divisions for aeronautics. In the modern world, navies are not limited to the sea. Numerous tyrannical nations possess large air forces that can be mobilised close to their homeland, while the Imperial Cohenian Air Force would need to spend large amounts of money in order to refuel these airplanes to fly from the mainland to other nations. With aircraft carriers and their included aircraft, the Cohenian Armed Forces can strike any despotic realm at any time.
We thank you in advanced.

To:
Consolidated Naval Construction, Questers
From:
Department of Naval Procurement, The Royal Hvergelmirian Navy, Hvergelmir
To whom it may concern,
By virtue of this communique, the Royal Hvergelmirian Navy has selected Consolidated Naval Construction as a primary contractor for its next generation of guided missile destroyers. From a series of potential candidates, Type 38 "Principal Destroyer" was chosen to be the cornerstone of Hvergelmir's naval forces for the forseeable future. As you may know, the Royal Hvergelmirian Navy currently operates the new Type 40 "Jormungandr" - class DDG; however, the Type 40 is primarily an anti-air/air-defence destroyer and lacks the multirole capability of the Type 38. Noting that anti-surface and anti-submarine warfare are extremely important and necessary capabilities for a modern Navy to exercise, it was determinded that the Royal Hvergelmirian Navy required a new ship to fulfill this role.
Therefore, the Department of Naval Procurement for the Royal Hvergelmirian Navy has opted to procure Domestic Production Rights for the Type 38 class of destroyer; to be produced domestically under license by Crown Maritime Defence. The Royal Hvergelmirian Navy will most likely opt to replace the Questarian weapon systems with her own so that continuity of systems can be preserved; therefore, production rights to Questarian missiles will not be required.
We anticipate your expedient response,
With thanks,
Erik Håkan G. Syrén

From:
Subject: Procurement of Naval Vessels
Greetings,
After much debate, review and discussion it has been decided that in order to maintain the Vetakan Naval Defence Force as a technologically capable, diversely equipped and confident Naval Force it has been decided that the
VNDF's Carrier Fleet must be partially decommissioned and supplemented.
Previously the the VNDF maintained Carriers that had the capacity to launch between 300 and 700 Fixed Wing Aircraft operating within "Total Battlegroup" Fleet Formations, however due to Requirements of the Operations that the Vetakan Defence Forces are currently operating within it has been decided that Vetaka must reduce its number of Large Strategic Carriers and subsequently increase its Smaller Tactical Carriers.
As such the Vetakan Naval Defence Forces wish to procure Domestic Production Rights on the following Vessels:
Type 515 'Foxbury' Class Assault Carrier
Type 251 'Triumph' Class Carrier
Type 270 'Ark Royal' Class Carrier
Type 242 'Unicorn' Class Carrier
Type 245 'Battle' Class Carrier
Total Price: $65 Billion
The required funds have already been wired into your designated accounts.
Yours with the Greatest Respects and Honour

Subject: Type 32 anti-aircraft warfare destroyer procurement
Greetings. During the annual review of the Aprikan Navy's capabilities and goals for the coming year, it was found that although our current surface fleet's eight general purpose Hemel class frigates and ten anti-submarine warfare Toubkal class frigates provide comprehensive surface and undersea capabilities, even with our missile based CIWS units and with support from our Martin class aircraft carriers, the navy is noticeably lacking in dedicated air defense ships. Thats where you come in. I have heard much of your equipments reputation for quality, and have decided that your premier light anti-aircraft warfare ship, the Type 32 destroyer, would provide a highly capable ship that would fit well with our navy's service requirements and somewhat modest budget.
Under the Falconer Program, I have been giver authorization and funding to purchase five Type 32 destroyers, the first of which has been tentatively designated the RAS Falconer. In addition, I have been given authorization to purchase domestic production rights for the Sea Sabre and Sea Dagger surface to air missiles to arm these ships. This program will be carried out for 21,700,000,000 Aprikan Crownes, converting to around 15,500,000,000 standard international dollars. We hope that you will agree to this price to procure five Type 32 ships and unlimited domestic production rights for the Sea Sabre and Sea Dagger missiles.
Sincerely,
Admiral John Eastham

Dear Sir/Madam,
The Federal Naval Service is currently undergoing vast series of reforms in an effort to better equip itself to deal with the demands and contingencies of modern naval warfare and force projection. One of the capabilities in which the Federal Admiralty's studies have indicated that the Navy requires improvement is amphibious assault. The Navy has searched long and hard and has decided to select Consolidated Naval Construction/Beaufort Naval Industries' Foxbury Class Assault Carrier as our primary amphibious assault carrier. Accordingly, the Admiralty would like to purchase the Domestic Production Rights to the Foxbury. The fee of ten billion dollars will be wired from the War Office upon your confirmation of our request.

OOC: I wanted to clarify how spare parts worked for your munitions, the P-600 Sea Lion SSM in particular. If a nation purchases the production rights for the P-600 for the listed price of 50 million, will it be able to also legally produce the various spare parts to keep the missiles in good repair, or is that not permitted?

From the Office of Secretary of Defense Sir Bruce Davison, Federated Union of Democratic Colonies
To the Offices of the Consolidated Naval Construction Group, Empire and Commonwealth of Questers
For the people of the Democratic Colonies, the sea is our lifeline. Without safe and secure oceans, our nation would be cut off from food, from oil, from the imports and exports that make life possible in our nation. The Democratic Colonies depends on the sea and thus depends on the abilities of the DC Navy for its very survival, and so today I would like to purchase production rights for the P-600 Sea Lion and P982 Sea Sapphire ship to ship missiles to help ensure that the seas remain free and the Democratic Colonies continues to thrive and grow.
The Federated Union of Democratic Colonies will wire the combined total cost of our purchases at $85,000,000 immediately. As outlined in available legal agreements, all spare parts and components for P-600 Sea Lions and P982 Sea Sapphires in our service will be purchased only from the Consolidated Naval Construction Group.
It is the hope of myself, the DC Navy, and the people of the Democratic Colonies that these missiles will never be fired in anger, but as the world continues to change and technology continues to evolve, so must we if we are to maintain our liberty.
Sincerely yours,
Sir Bruce Davison

Priority: High
Recipient: Consolidated Naval Construction Group
Origin: Layartebian Defense Corporation - Procurement Department
Classification Level: Encrypted
Subject: Procurement of County class CGV
Since the unveiling of the County class to the public, the Layartebian Defense Corporation has made plans to procure it for inclusion in the Imperial Layartebian Navy. Aviation cruisers are a class of vessel that the ILN has only recently begun to explore. Previously, we have based our fleets strictly on aircraft carriers with the inclusion of helicopter carriers for assault duty. It is our hope, one day, to eliminate these helicopter carriers and replace them with lighter, faster, and more capable aviation cruisers.
It is our intention to procure the County class to experiment this theory. We will wish to procure twenty vessels for a total cost of $60,000,000,000.00. These vessels will see frontline service with out twenty amphibious assault groups with a complement of large transport helicopters and possible the V-24 Bulldog (a replacement for the Osprey). The procurement of the County class is regarded as top priority for the Imperial Layartebian Navy but not without proper standardization that would allow these vessels to work with, rather than against, the streamlined processes already established in the ILN.
We wish to inform you of the following changes that we intend to make to these vessels and it is our hope that you allow such endeavors. First and foremost we wish to change the rapid fire, conventional main gun to a variant of the Advanced Gun System, an ETC 127mm/53-caliber weapon that is used by several of our vessels already. We will replace both the RAM launchers and point-defense 50mm cannons with our Mark 205 CIWS (gun/missile) system. No additional requirements need to be done to the vessel for these two items except that said items are left out when they are delivered. In addition, we plan on equipping the vessel with M31A1 15.5mm HMGs versus the 13mm HMG due to the lack of this caliber in our inventory. The final and most important conversion will be to the sensor suite. The Imperial Layartebian Navy uses its own, indigenous sensor suite that is fully classified and will be placed onto this vessel.
We trust that these modifications are acceptable and please advise if they incur additional costs. We hope to hear from your in regards to this as soon as possible, thank you.
Sincerely,
Alexander Rojas
Vice President of Procurement
Classification Levels
Standard: Standard classification is the normal level of encryption. It is equivalent to the standard levels of encryption seen on most secure e-mail clients.
Confidential: Confidential classification is a higher level of encryption than "Standard" but it is not heavily encrypted. It is used mostly for flash traffic to foreign countries and requires some additional decoding time. It uses 512-bit RSA encryption methods and has several key ciphers that change unpredictably.
Secure: Secure communiques use 1024-bit RSA encryption and several key ciphers within them that change unpredictably to ensure that message traffic is not hacked or decoded. Access to said messages would require heavy cracking software and significant resources but it is not "uncrackable." It can be a viable level through 2010.
Encrypted: Encrypted classification is the second highest level of classification. It is uses 2048-bit RSA encryption and multiple key ciphers within it to ensure that cracking it would take such a significant amount of time to accomplish that, should it be done, the message's usefulness would have already expired. Though anything is crackable, because of the methods employed, this level is often considered "uncrackable" by current capabilities. To ensure revolving protecting, ciphers and encryption algorithms will change unpredictably. This level is sufficient until 2030.
Maximum: Maximum classification is the highest level of classification available. It uses 3072-bit RSA encryption and multiple key ciphers that change unpredictably. It can provide protection past 2030.
Experimental: Currently not a fully recognized level, experimental denotes a category using 15360-bit RSA encryption and multiple key ciphers that change unpredictably. It is not in full operational use as of yet.

Official Statement of Tender Legibility
Dear Sir/Madam,
It is with great pleasure that I can confirm that a design from the Consolidated Naval Construction Group has been deemed COMPLIANT with the Adenian Tender Designation 6FFP-2008-23, "Future Force Projection".
The Adenian Royal Armed Services, specifically the Royal Naval Service, has recently begun it's Royal Fleet Review, and the need has been expressed both by ourselves and our allies for a projection element to the flotilla. As such, the Naval Service is looking for two light aircraft carriers to bolster the forces.
This in mind, three carriers are so far under consideration. From Eisenseite Naval Industries, the Hafenstadt Class CV; from Sun International Systems, the Eagle Class CV, and from Consolidated Naval Construction Group, the Unicorn Class CVE.
We intend to keep you updated as the situation progresses further, and wish CNC Group the best.
We look forward to speaking with you further.

OOC: First time getting ships, and I know yours are one of the best. Also, I take it there aren't any DPR's for the subs? Also, the last two ship to ship missiles are the same, with the links.

Inquiry of Sale by the Dictorial Republic of Sumer
To whom it may concern,
After many years of variable commitment, the Dictorial Republic must now make deep and impacting measures into the nature of its naval forces. A careful study of the options available on the market, in conjunction with the Navy's Strategic Improvement Program (Counterpart to the Army's Force400), it has been decided that where domestic ship building can not cover, we will turn to the Questarian CNC. This decision was heavily influenced both by known allies using proven technology from the CNC, as well as the improved state of Questarian-Sumerian relations both by our mutual involvement in the Fedala Accord, and Questers' recent human rights improvements. As such, a large order, to be paid off in installments until completed, is before us now. A secondary order may be considered at a later date in regards to strategic projection of naval infantry, but for now we wish to consider this.
We wish to procure the following.
- Ninety-Six (96) Ark Royal class carriers, sans aircraft.
- Two-Hundred and Fifteen (215) Battle Class carriers, sans aircraft.
- Fifty-Five (55) Sandakan Class cruisers.
- Seventy (70) Foxburry Class assault carriers.
To facilitate commonality we will make adjustments to each class for service in the Sumerian Navy. We wish either to have all ships provided sans armament, or we will remove the armament ourselves and sell them back to you. In their place Sumerian systems will be included, a list of which can be provided for CNC reference if so desired. Secondly, communications systems will be replaced with standard Sumerian communications systems as dictated necessary by each class.
We hope these considerations can be maintained, as they are necessary for operation in the Sumerian Navy, and these ships are greatly desired by the Naval Staff.
- Commanding Officer of Military Procurement,
Ribishar Erishti Dumumiazimrik Dumuayak Kishak
