I am looking to establish diplomatic relations with a nation. My empire is fairly new and I need allies and trade partners. I have a region named the "Union of Independent States". You do not have to join to be my allies or such. I am just saying that people who join first will get a political seat in the union. This may not concern you, but all I really need are allies.

Lynion sends it regards and welcomes the new nation into the world. We wish to setup an alliance of some kind. We do have a reasonably military force (mainly warships as we are an island Kingdom), trade is limited down but I'm sure we can figure something out.
