It was a very odd, unexpected request to hear escaping her lips, after all, it had been only a year since she was forced to move from Orbath to Throppe, giving up her old job, friends and lifestyle to move to an entirely new nation and take on a new job, new lifestyle and try to make new friends.

''Please dad, I must do something with my life, I want a husband and children.''

The Viscount had been shocked by what she had said and couldn't fully understand. It was true his daughter was in his early twenties and in all honesty, did not need his permission but he still couldn't get over the fact that she wasn't a baby, or a child but a grown woman.

''Not only will it make me happy but I will help push our nation forward, something that is equally important to the both of us.''

Robertson finally gathered his thoughts and issued a response,

''That is very noble of you, but surely you don't want to marry some stranger, wouldn't you rather marry someone you can get to know.''

It didn't take long for his daughter to shoot back with a response.

''That is the problem, I can't get close to anyone, nobody looks eye to eye with me, they all place me on a silver platter, high above everyone. You told me when we first moved here I would have to get used to the type of position I was in, well I'm used to it, and perhaps it is you who needs to change?''

Robertson couldn't fully understand the way she was feeling. Most of those close to him had worked with him in Orbath and treated him no different. In public though, that was another matter, and like his daughter, he was thought of as being better than the rest of the population. Maybe it was true? I mean, it wasn't common to do something like this in Orbath, but they weren't in Orbath anymore, the lived in Throppe and held dual citizenships, making them both Orbathian and Throp.

''This is a major decision and I can't believe I'm doing this. I suppose your right though, this is one of the differences and I must accept that. I will send out a message on your behalf but I don't hold much influence, so I can't guarantee any results.''

His daughter Ella was surprised at first but when she realized he had agreed, she smiled and cried tears of joy before embracing him in a hug.

Later that day, Robertson canceled all of his meetings, purchased some top quality coffee and several cigars and locked himself in his office, slowing but surely drafting a letter to the international community, but more specifically, members of royalty.

Don't worry I'm not annoyed, I did go ahead and check the pages and you are correct. There is a problem though. At the time I came across the thread, the opening post had a list of each fief, with an area stating it's availability. When I considered Throppe, it was listed as available. Furthermore, I too requested Throppe and I was accepted. See below.

I suppose this is a mistake on all of our faults, more mine and Paloni's than yours. I can't simply retcon something so important, so I propose, two Throppes exist, Greston Throppe owned by you, and Orbath Throppe owned by me. That way we both get our colony, with no problems. It can be sort of like all of the different continents on earth, how more than one person can lay claim to say Russia.

I'd be quite alright with that but on the condition that they are completely two different Throppe's and not the same one split in half. I have used Throppe for military stagings and Throppe has a major effect on the crisis in my region.
