After High Counselor Durant Adams of Miroxia signed the new Constitution of Miroxia on Friday, the Miroxian Coucil voted to hold elections for 100 new counselors once a year. After the bill was approved by Durant, the elctions opened up in Miroxia for 10 major parties.

With the sudden change in government, people are learning the ways of democracy slowly, but are adapting quiet quickly.

The ten major parties are:

Militia Party

Beliefs: People of the militia party believe in a compulsive military draft for men 16 and older. They also believe in a 99% income tax rate, and want more military power in the government.

Leader: Keneth Marsh; age 39

Current Number of Miroxian Council Members: 28

Miroxian Democrat's Party

Beliefs: The men and women of the Miroxian Democratic's Party believe in a lower income tax, maybe 47%, and they believe in a weaker military, but only weak enough for self defense. They also believe that the government have more power than the people.

Surukan Purist Party

Beliefs: They believe in a church-and-state link and belive the Catholic Church should rule Miroxia.

Green Party

Beliefs: Those of the Party Green belive in enviornmentally safe and clean products, such as electric and/or hydrogen powered cars. They also belive that 50% of government money go towards the enviornment.

Adams Party

Beliefs: Those who follow the Adams Party folow the ways Durant and Roland Adams ruled Miroxia: with kindness and compassion, but with sensible ideas.

Peace Party

Beliefs: Those involved in the Peace Party are pacifists who protest any war Miroxia enters (most notably Operation: Miroxian Defense). They believe in no Miroxian Military and want to make peace with all. They also wish for a 2% income tax.

Miroxian Communist Party

Beliefs: Communists of Miroxia believe that all political freedoms and civil rights be taken away as a 100% income tax is enstated and people vote for the same person every 10 years. They also want a huge army.

Pacific Party

Beliefs: Pacific Party members love the ocean and people! They believe in a 40% income tax and wish the best for Miroxia. They wish to ally with all nations of the Pacific and want to outlaw seafood.

Beliefs: Those who are in the Unity Party want Miroxia to become more united than ever by making it a safe land. They want to comprimise with the demands of Northern Royalists, but wish to keep the colonies up there.
