Lentania is a space empire.

They are a humanoid species. they are also Individualistic and Artistic

The Lentanians only control one planet, an oceanic world. Lentanians also control a small number of space stations that sit outside and inside some neighbiring solar systems.

GOVERNMENT:
Lentania is led by the "Fourth Movement" which is the leading government. It consists of 5,000 privileged beings. The real power lays with the 5 leading members who make all the descisons. They work for the good of all Lentania.

The government resides on the "Pinnacle" a luxurious floating palace which hovers above The Hub (Capital City). Only Lentanians born and raised on the Pinnalce are accepted into the fourth movement. The 5000 mebers of Pinnacle elect the 5 leading members. when elected the 5 members hold the position for life. It is illegal to have one gender dominating the Fourth Movement core leadership (the 5 leaders) so it contains a mix of females and males. Though becuase of the Males short life spans the position of the male's frequently changes. It is law that the leading 5 must have at least 2 of one geneder

Lentanian Genders

MALE

Male Lentanians have an extremely short lifespan of only 20 earth years. They are mature by the age of 5 where they participate in "Group Orgies" held in special chambers for reproduction. At the age of 6 they are conscripted into government services and the Military.
Lentanian tradition said that Males were the administrators and so mainly men fill governmental roles in the Fourth Movement and leadership positions.
At the age of 18 they are usually released from thier oblisgations where they live out the rest of thier lives in peace until they die at around about the age of 20. The oldest recorded Male Lentanian was 22 when he died.
The Process of dying just involves them dying in thier sleep. when their bodies are descovered they are cremated and thier ash's scattered in the ocean.
Its now common for males to "Volunteer" to die when they reach the age of 20 so they can leave on thier own terms. this takes place in special clinics for the purpose of making thier last moments nice and comfortable. No Male Lentanian dreads the day of death they are usually prepared and usually die happy.

FEMALES

The Female Lentanians have a long lifespan around about 120 earth years. They are mature by the age of 25 where they participate in the "Group Orgies" for reproduction. After the orgy the female stomache inflates (Like a human pregnant woman) but it is a sack and after 3 months it drops off where it is held in special chambers then after 8 weeks hatches into a baby Lentanian. When the sack first drops off the eggs are taken to nursery's and then when they are hatched they are raised in the nurseries. At about 1 year old they are fully aware of thier surroundings. Males are released into the world at about the age of 4. Females are released at about the age of 18. Where they are automatically conscripted into the work force and given a special state flat until they are released from thier duties at the age of 22 to live thier own life. Females become infertile at the age of 100. They continue working until they reach tha age of 115 where most then work in the nursery's until they die at the age of 120. they either go to the clinic or die naturally in thier sleep like the Males before being cremated.

REPRODUCTION

When a female is pregnant there is an 80% chance she will produce a Male. This is a natural body survival instinct as males have such short life spans compared to the females and it helps keep a gender balance. though woman are still more common.
To reprodcue a gathering of usually 5 Lentanians (2 males and 3 Females).
Reproduction does not work if if males cant have at least 3 different Female partners in the same orgy. They have to have 3 different Female scents to activate thier reproductive system. When a female is aroused they release a slime that naturally oils thier bodies the females also release a scent when in an orgy too. Lentanians dont usually have sex for pleasue its more instinctual.

Though some Male and Female Lentanians do Masturbate for pleasure. Some Lentanians do have casual sex for pleasure between just one male and one female it is called "Unproductive" sex as it does not have the reqired 3 scents the male needs to activate his reproductive systems keeping him sterile. This is seen as abnormal behaviour and is frowned upon. The "Syndrome" has been classed as a mental illness by the authorities but it is permitted it is seen as something bad. Only 7% of the population are reported to have practiced "Unproductive" sex.

Lentanian Territories.

The Planet of Lentania is the center of their civilization. It is an oceanic world but it was not always like that. The planet contains 2 areas above the water where the Lentanian species live. Lentanians are not Aquatic species and can only hold thier breath for only 8 minutes on average.

THE HUB:

The Hub is the main center of Lentanian civilization . It is also the capital city and is over 20,000 years old. It has been changed, modernized and modified over the years to fit the times.
It holds over 210 Million civilians
It is protected by a force field produced by metalic pole/stations situated around the base of the large stucture
It is located close to the equator of the oceanic planet. It is 1,865 Meters high (1.8km)
It also contains a teleportation device to reach the Pinnacle (The Pinnacle is the floating palace holding the leadership)
The Hub looks like a large termit mound though modernized with large metal sacks holding small cities and sky scrapers clinging to the side of the main structure

MERON:

Is a space station. It took 88 years to construct. It consists of a massive disk/platform used to construct massive space ships. It has two arms sticking out of the central "Head" which arch around the outside of the Disk. These arms contain shop's offices and apartments where the engineers and guests sleep. There is a smaller station a small distance away shaped like a bone where more workers live. It has a population of 2 Million and is located outside of the Planet of Lentania above the capital The Hub.

COLOSSAL:

IS a massive city/structure 2x's the size of the Hub. it is 2,310 meters high (2.3km) and holds about 810 Million citizens. It also has a teleportation device to reach the Pinnacle. On the tip of the colossal is a grand orb which is a power machine which helps to hold the "Floating Palace" in place. This is a luxurious and lavish mini city which holds 38 Million of the 810 Million population. It is located on the otherside of Lentania around the equator. It took 411 years to construct

WEAVE CONURBATION:

Also known as WC. it is a worm like structure that has the ability to twist and turn. It has a city constructed all along its wormlike body. It sits in space near a solar system that has no habitable planets only a couple of gas giants. It is home to 58 Million citizens

MOLSIS:

It is a large Hollow cylinder space station with a large sprawling city built on the inside of the Cylinder with its large buildings and towers sticking out from the inside walls. It is a massive structure and holds 580 Million citizens. it is situated a far distance away from Lentania on the outskirts of another solor system

ADVANCE:

The Advance is a space ship which is home to 13 Million citizens. It was used for exploration decades ago but now its a travelling city with a modern city cupped into the ships curving base with a re-enforced shield/glass over the top of the city. It travels around Lentanian Territory.ready to be called upon to be used as a refuge in any future disaster

CHARIOT:

Is one of the most important and powerful space ships in Lentania. It is a grand station as well as a ship holding 16 Million people mainly military personel. It has a massive central gun/cannon in the center with 3 large arms sticking out and running up past the cannon. It has 400 fighter ships placed alongside the 3 arms for protection. It contains and 3rd and last teleportation device to the Pinnacle. (If you want to see a picture of the Chariot there is a picture of it on the National Flag)

PINNACLE:

The Pinnacle is where the leadership resides. the fourth movement is only made up of 5000 members. It contains a swimming pool, luxury apartments, "Breeding Chambers", debating chamber and 5 luxury leadership apartments. It also has a grand banquet hall, a guards and staff quarters. Apart from the 5000 government members it also has 800 staff and 1000 guards.
As safety precautions the Pinnacle takes no chances and it has many steps for security of the leadership.
#1 The Pinnacle can only be reached by teleporation devices. there are no docking bays for ships. It can only be reached by 3 teleportation devices throughout the entire empire. A station on Chatiot. A station on the top of the Hub and a station on the Top of the Colossal. The Pinnacle has the ability to disable any of these teleportation devices. The Leadership has the choice to evacuate to any of these teleportation exit points. There are 3 located on the Pinnacle. one of the lower leves for staff use. 1 in the Entrace Hall for guests to use and the government members and one in the upper leves next to the 5 leaders luxury apartments for thier immediate escape

#2 There is one spaceship fixed underneath the pinnacle which is an orb like craft which can dissconnet and flee the scene should the situation call for it. The leadership can choose to escape this way but if there are enemy ships in the area this escape plan in discouraged as the orb can be fired on. Though in any cases it is released to at least act as a diversion if the leadership escapes through the teleportation devices. The Orb is automatically programmed to launch to Colossal.
All together the Pinnacle has a population of 6800
It floats above the Hub.

Lentanians resemble humans a small bit.

Same body shape though thier skins are a tar colour with a strange shade of dark green running down the legs and body.

They only grow hair out of the top of thier heads and thier eyes are a dark green colour. thier hair is black.

What Lentanians resemble when growing up

Male 4 years old - resemlbe a human 18 yearold

Male 6 yearols old - reselmbe a human 25 yearold

Male 15 yearols old - resemble a human 50 yearold

male 20 yearold - resembles a human in the ages of 90-100

Female Lentanians age at around about the same speed as Female Humans but they can live up to 120 years. It is only Male Lentanians that have life spans in "Fast Foward"

they are usally about about 180 meters and up to 6ft

during thier last years their dark skin begins to fade into a dark grey colour

TIMELINE

Lentanians use B3M (Before 3rd Movement)
and A3M (After 3rd Movement) basically like BC and AD

(Stone age)
18,000 B3M = Ocean level begins to rise (though there was not much land on the planet to begin with)

16,000 B3M = Lentanians retreat to "Structure" and build it up to make it taller

830 B3M = Plague begins to kill off the population

800 B3M = Lentanians begin to rebel against the system and kill the leadership

799 B3M = A "New System" is declared which is an experiement with Libertarianism which is a huge failure and looting, murder, suicide and anarchy take over

0 A3M = The third movement is founded

120 A3M = The 3rd Movment gains control of Structure

1120 A3M = structure is renamed The Hub

2100 A3M = Colossal is completed

2230 A3M = Chariot is constructed and begins exploring the galaxy

2310 A3M = Present Day

Lentanians evolved from a hive minded species that lives in large colonies resembling termit mounds. Eventually they evolved and grew out of the hive mind though they were still a docile species which resepcted discipline.

During the massive plague that wiped out most of the population the Lentanians were fed up with the leadership and a bloody revolution toppled the leadership which led to the "new system" the experiement with libertarianism but the Lentanains didnt know how to cope and led to mass suicides and a break down of law and order and a collapse of civilizations. A smart few did learn to accept the new ideas of independence and free expression and painstakingly re-educated the population until order had returned

Re-education was a long process and the 3rd Movement has to resort to a return to totalitarianism for a short while and slowly ease out into a free society

Now the Lentanians are use to this new free thought and individualistic attitudes. The new way of thinking even produced a "phenomenon" which is called "Unproductive" sex. society has called this a bad thing but they use it as an example on how far the species has come in the way of free thought as thousands of years in the past. Sex was never done for pleasure it was instinctual and scheduled and regulated. Now this "Unproductive" sex has seen Lentanians have sex for pleasure for the first time. It will take some time before this is normalized and people begin to accept this.

The CORE leaders

Panolson:

Is the oldest core leader and has served in the Core Leadership for over 59 years. She has seen lots of change. She is the only Core Leadership member that was born before Chariot was constructed. Like all mebers of the government she was born, raised and eduated on Pinnacle and has never left the Pinnacle. She is a sensible woman who is more for peace and stability and not very intersted in military expansion and advancement

Lendra:

is a young Female. She has served in the Core Leadership for only 8 years. She is very cautious and attractive. She has worked very hard to get to this position coming top in all of her classes. She has spent time off Pinnacle, Inspecting Chariot on government business and spending time on the "Floating Palace" (the small mini city hovering around Colossal)

Maxim:

Is a very old male who is only 2 year away from his expected death date. He has refused to retire (All males are given to option to retire and spend out the rest of thier days in peace at the age of 18) He is quite militaristic and probably the most paranoid with the most number of doubles, food tast testers and he has never been out of the Pinnacle. he has his own personal guards. Unlike the majority of Male Lentanians Maxim wants to live for as long as he can and has looked into genetic engineering. So far his scientists claim he will live to be at least 22 but ar working to extend his life. Maxim has even put the possability of cloning himself so his clones can rule after he is gone but this idea has been rejected by the Government as breaking tradition. He has served in the Core Leadership for 4 years

Dinel:

IS the youngest member of the Core Leadership. He has only served on the Core Leadership for 1 year. He is still doing his studies and is obsesed with knowledge. he has condemned Maxim's experiements in extending his lifespan saying that Maxim will "turn himself into a freak of nature" Dinel is for a strong economy and prosperous life for the entire empire and for expansion onto other planets

Dolgen:

Is the oldest Male leader and only 1 year away before his expected death. Over the last year he has been preparing for his death even planning to leave the Pinnacle for the first time ever on his 20th Birthday to die in peace on one of the Hub's VIP death Clinics. As he has gotten older he has given up on working hard in the government and instead focusing all his power into living in luxury before he dies using every privelege he can use. He has served as a Core Leader for 9 years

Currently Chariot is exploring outside of Lentanian territory in space looking for other solar systems.

Lentania has been viewing the other races and has built up a database on other space empires. though the other races has only been viewed by satalites launched into space that relays the information and pictures back to the Intelligence services back at the Hub. Though the only civilizations Lentania has viewed have been Human empires and so with the information gathered on the humans has had a massive impact on Lentanian society

The "Old Language" was eliminated to be replaced with the easier human language and the Lentanian year was abolished and an earth year was used for better accuracy on history and age for Lentanians. Even clothing styles have been adopted from human culture.

Lentanians use to wear toga like clothes but now upgraded to human inspired wear elegant robes and human military uniforms for the army.

There has only been one instance when Pinnacle was in extreme danger and that was when a radical group of Lentanians wanting a return to Hive Society was fromed and began terrorist attacks in and around the Hub back in 2107 A3M. the Hub Teleprotation device which led to the Pinnacle was scheduled to be shut down as a safety precaution

The Radical group heard what was planned and so stormed and top levels of the Hub. the army was put on alert and the Hub was shut down but it was too late in 30 minute bloody fire fight the radical group managed to use the Teleportation device to reach the Pinnacle before it was shut down

The Leadership was already preparing to evacuate Pinnacle by Taking the Orb escape ship to escape to Colossal.
The Radical group stormed the upper levels of Pinnacle where the Core Leadership luxury apartments are. the Radical group ransaked the apartments and killed 5 staff members that hid in one of the apartments. but this stage the Core Leadership were in the main entrance hall. There was not much time. So the Core Leadership made thier way to the Teleportaion device in the main hall to escape to Colossal but the Radical group was now incharge of the uper level control rooms after a fire fight with the guards and has shut down the Teleportation devices preventing any escape or entrance through Teleportation.

The Core leadership fled to the lower levels with the radicals quickly gaining ground killing anybody that go in their way.

The Orb Escape ship dissconnected and escaped just in time and travelled to the Collossal

The Radicalls dissabled all teleportaion devices which inconvenienced the entire empire. and had control of Pinnacle for 4 days until the the military smashing through the sky lights and in a bloody battle for the pinnacle which they finally won. The radical group was hunted down and eliminated and the pinnacle was cleaned up and its security staff was hevily inflated to prevent any future invasion of the Pinnacle

There is no family unit in Lentania

There is no marriage. people just mate, people dont have children.

New elections are expected to be held in which a new Core Leader will be elected to replace the aging and almost dead Dolgen

Lentania has never had real contact with other empires but the leadership has prepared for any foriegn visitors and guests to Lentania

The Foriegn ship is to dock at Meron on the large disk. Some sections around the staion will be sealed. The Foriegn guests will be immediatly escorted to a special ship that will transport them to the Hub on the planet.

The Ship will dock in the top levels of the Hub. They will be transported to the teleportation machine which will take them to main entrance to the Pinnacle. From there they will be taken to the foriegn relations room (A new room just made for the purpose of negotiations with other empires)

If they plan to stay longer they will be offered with a luxurious hotel on the Floating Palace around Colossal
