War Hits Scatovia!

NEW BELDRA, UR - Tensions over border disputes, tariffs, taxes, and refugees between the two nations of Fordreich and Urcea have finally broken out into a war. War has never been a part of the Scatovian history books; this is the first Scatovian war, and the other nations in the region are bound to take sides.

This all started, among other things, with the Leom Affair of late 2019. A man named Michael Leom was seeking freedom from the oppressive Urcean Drug Laws enacted the years previous. Michael Leom, along with 312 followers, snuck over the Urceo-Fordreich border illegally under the cover of darkness. When His Majesty, Julius Nero, requested of the government of Fordreich to turn over Leom and his followers, they refused. He then demanded that they be turned over, and they still refused. At this point, Emperor Nero, because of other recent disputes with the Fordreich government began to secretly call upon the 5th and 21st Imperial Armored, 3rd and 9th Imperial Guard, 40th Imperial Legion, 1st Imperial Army, 9th and 12th Imperial Fleets, 99th Imperial Paratroopers, 2nd Imperial Marines, and 3rd Imperial Volunteers to become armed and ready for an invasion. 10,250,000 men in total and an uncountable amount of vehicles began to mobilize at the border and on Urcean naval bases for an invasion.

His Majesty, the Emperor Julius Nero, has yet to comment on this invasion, although he is scheduled to speak to the nation within the coming week. As of yet, it has been a surprise attack, as all forces the army has faced were not prepared and easily defeated. This story is not of yet completed, however. More information will flow in as the invasion progresses.

Presidency delivers speech to United Federal Parliament on Scatovian Crisis

President Sir Jerry Striker speaks his mind and denounces His Majesty and Emperor of the Urcean Roman Empire.

The Peaceful and Most Honorable Sir Jerry Striker delivered a forty-five minute long speech and summary to the United Federal Parliament on the Scatovian Border Crisis involving The Dae Jaeguk of Fordreich and, the once allied with, Urcean Empire. After a falling out with fellow Corporate Alliance members and the official resignation from the alliance by Batther the CA was no longer welcomed by the Grestonian goverment.

The terror strikes made upon the capital and Parliament shortly after the resignation was blamed on the CA leaving the CA on bad terms with the new installation. The Razorlian bombings was thought to be the end of it but today President Striker stated, "Letting them attack us at our home with out punishment is like letting a theif mug and beat its victim then let it run off. We cannot stand for such heresy and such things must be dealt with."

"It will only be a slap on the wrist," ensured the head of the Imperial Grestonian Army (IGA), General John Chamberhill, when interviewed after the Striker speech, "Striker simply wishes to install peace and propaganda with those two while closing up old wounds at the same time."

After the speech Rosworth Port found it unusually active as a ragtag fleet of 10 Seastabber class battleships and 15 Hermin class cruisers gathered up and gear up for deployment. To that note a total of 900,000 Infantry Units and a total of 500,000 Jaguar main battle tanks were readied for deployment as well.

"It seems that Ucrea started the fight over trival reasons." Grand General Asuka said. This was in The Military War Room of The Imperial Palace. News of Ucrea's war against Fordreich.

"Too Trival," Empress Isabella said, her husband, Emperor Hirohito, stood beside her. "The Ucreans have no right to Invade. If they wanted to stop criminals from crossing, they should ask for Fordreich's help in the matter."

"It is my thought that We should help Fordreich." Asuka said. "I Agree," Hirohito said, "This war must end, and it might be by force."

Soon, The Imperial Army was ordered to mobilze for war agaisnt Ucrea, Ryouese civilians were soon leaveing that Nation on droves.

The Fascist Federation of The Grand World Order Response

The Federation announces its support for Urcea in this conflict. Fordreich has demonstrated its purposeful detriment to the law of civilizations of man, by allowing "junkies" to thrive within their nation, and essentially offering sanctuary for criminals in Urcea. Fordreich's government cannot be trusted to run the nation, as they have demonstrated left-wing politics and attempted to undermine the efforts of the Urcean government. We will deploy a force to assist the Urceans in their invasion, as well as to help defend them should other Leftist scum try to attack them. 250,000 troops are preparing for deployment to Scatovia upon permission authorization from Urcea.

SIC: This response was only a minor reason for the GWO troop deployment. The Ryouese soon decided to best couse of action was to send troops to Fordreich to help that nation against Urcea. Grand Admiral Ryu proposed the use of Submarine Warfare against the enemy, useing the 20 new Eurypharynx Class Submarines against The enemy navy.

She also planned the use of Two large Fleets; The 18th Fleet and The 10th Fleet, to fight the enemy navy on The high seas.

Grand General Asuka soon ordered the deployment of 300,000 Ryouese troops to take on The enemy Forces at Fordreich.

The Court of Crowns Parliament delivered its official declaration; state of war exists between the Urcean Empire and Grestonian Empire.

The Court of Crowns Parliament, a part of the Judicial Branch which votes and acts as a Parliament but for Judicial reasons, declared that, qoute, "Such an action must be met with an action of the same degree and that a state of war is inevitable at this moment."

This came after the gathering of forces to possibly be deployed to the situtation occured. "It was only a matter of time before either side burst wide open," explained Head Premier Sir John Gutted, "the international community is to moralistic to watch as a much larger nation does such deeds to such a small one."

The word of possible aid from Ryou forces takes the Commonwealth a step back though. "Such disgusting, warmongering pigs can't be of any help in a war against imperialism," stated Colonel Roger Thachet, the highest ranking infantry officer deployed to the Ryou Roman War, the most major Grestonian success. "We may have to shoot at both sides," stated the prestigous General Sir John Chamberfeild, "Ryous to the left, Urceans to the right, this is like taking the Pictavian Consul, placing a shoot me sign on his back, and placing him six feet away from a Jaguar MBT!"

However, the Grestonian Republic still finds its way on a path to war with Urcea and their Imperialism and and we shall not be stopped.

After recent developements, such as the Ryou declaration, we have decided to take a step foward and stop gathering forces but deploy forces already stabilized. In less than five days 900,000 of the finest men in Infantry and 500,000 of the three person sustained Jaguar MBT will find their way on Fordreich to aid themselves against Urcean assets. With Urcea's authorization, the GWO began gathering troops. The GWO was already mobilized, due to an invasion attempt and several others wars. Troops were heading out for Urcea from around 90 Provinces, as well as Magna Polis.

Three combat fleets were also being sent to protect the GWO ships as they neared Scatovia. The Super Dreadnought FWS Hell's Gates was to be in charge of the GWO's Naval forces in the area. The entire force would be there within a week and a half, but units would start arriving in three days.

The Imperial Grand Army was soon massed, boarding Troop transports, getting ready for The fight against Urcea. The Force, known as "The Ryouese Scatovian Expeditionary Force." was led by Countess Moreta her self. The Neko General knew tht the Urceans would attack the RSEF.

over 300,000 Imperial Troops, 440 KIM-180 Main Battle tanks, 500 CAI-28 Flamethrower Tanks, 2,000 9P148 ATGM Launcher Vehicles, 600 152mm Self-Propelled Gun-Howitzers, 500 M1064A3 Mortar Carriers and over 5,000 BTR-152 Armored Transporters were being readied on Troop Trasports.

War was now on.

The Republic had its eyes on a more land based warfare, it would give the men a good eperience and better Greston's look at the same time. The force made its way out of Greston and towards their target, they heard word that the main target of offence on the Urcean side would be the border city, Duquea.

Upon arrival they would strengthen the nearest to Fordreich border with artillary and camp sites for the men. Then the infantry and tanks would push until about half way deep into the city. They would make their main defensive stance their. The Urceans would most likely do the same so it would leave a large gap in between the two sides and it was estimated that that area would see the most bloodshed.

Colonel Roger Thatchet quickly, however bothersomely, sent a message to moving Ryou troops:

Seeing as that your nation is also deploying men for the same cause I think I should let you in on our plans. We are going to militarize a city by the name of Duquea and leave an entire half of it for Urcean troops to do the same. Then once the battle starts to move on we will destroy the Urcean troops as they come into the gap between halves of Duquea.

Attack on Duquea!

Urcean Attack on Duquea (Fordreich defensive lines in orange)

NEW BELDRA, UR - Today, elements of the 40th Imperial Legion and 21st Imperial Armored launched an attack today on the city of Duquea for the first major attack of this war. Why is this significant? The border city of Duquea is a major economic center for the Northwestern portion of Fordreich, and a strategic entry into Fordreich, as it has two bridges leading out to it into Urcean territory.

In a controversial move, Fordreich forces retreated from the city completely and took up more defensible positions on the roads and in the hills, leaving the city of Duquea completely defenseless against the Urceans. The strategy here is to attempt to contain Urcean forces in Duquea until reinforcements can arrive and hopefully drive them out.

Urcean Attack on Duquea (Fordreich defensive lines in orange)

NEW BELDRA, UR - Today, elements of the 40th Imperial Legion and 21st Imperial Armored launched an attack today on the city of Duquea for the first major attack of this war. Why is this significant? The border city of Duquea is a major economic center for the Northwestern portion of Fordreich, and a strategic entry into Fordreich, as it has two bridges leading out to it into Urcean territory.

In a controversial move, Fordreich forces retreated from the city completely and took up more defensible positions on the roads and in the hills, leaving the city of Duquea completely defenseless against the Urceans. The strategy here is to attempt to contain Urcean forces in Duquea until reinforcements can arrive and hopefully drive them out.

The Problem with that was that the enemy had been reported attacking Duquea, at lest that was last Reported. The Ryouese had been hacking into the enemy Newsfeeds, the Ryouese had learned about a enemy attack on Duquea it self.

The Attack behind enemy lines would be to cut off the enemy from Renforcements and to attack the enemy from Behind, Trapping them Between The Fordreich Forces and The Ryouese.

In Short, a end to any invasion plans for Urcea on tht front.

But somehow, The Grestonians had been slow on the News.
