Brief History of Sakhastan:

Sakhastan was initially settled by nomadic indigenous Yakut and Turkic tribesmen travessing the vast windswept barren lowlands of the large nation and subsequently small settlements proliferated sporadically along the southern riverways where land was more agriculturally tenable for the Yakut to settle.

During the Middle ages the Sakhastan region was relatively harmornious bar the occaisional Feudal dispute between tribes.

The rapid expansion of the world powers to the west and east of Sakhastan during the 14-16th centuries meant inevitably that the loose confederation of tribes that occupied the majority of this territory would eventually reach a confluence point with the expanding russian civilizations to the west ( most Notably Andrehevia and the growing powers that would become Pushka, Cotland and Nerotika)

That point was reached at the start of the middle of the 16th century between Andrehevian and Squonshelshan pioneers and Yakut hunting parties at the borderlands of the starkly beautiful Siberian pine filled regions of where the modern day capital of Sakhastan would be founded ( Yakut City)

Misunderstanding and mistrust between Andrehevian explorerers ( planning to reach the pacific ocean and establish trading outposts around this area) led to the murder of several prominent Sakha tribal chiefs and this led to violent sakha retaliation against the small colonial outposts of these soon to be Russian powers.

Unfortunatly this gave Andrehevia and Squanshelous the Ideal pretext to divide and conquer the vast territory into their two respective areas of influence upon hearing exaggeratted stories of their pioneers being beheaded and scalped and put on pikes as trophies in Sakha tribal villages.

Andrehevian plans to send in small expeditionary forces of musket men and cuirassier were initially succesful in the border regions of Sakha (due to Local tribes unfamiliarity to Andrehevian advanced weaponry and flanking tactics) and subsequently larg portions of east Sakha fell to Andrehevia in quick succession.

Soon enough Sakhastan was subjecated to gratitous land grabbing by Andrehevia and Pushka who not only resorted to Musket, Cavalry and cannonfire but also used the most effective weapon of all tradable commodities ( at very unfair trading prices), Inwhich Pushkan merchantment and diplomats traded with opportunistic Sakha tribal chiefs ( whom realised their dire predicament) who the Pushkan government deemed not to be instigators of war against the Pushkan regime or not viable threats. The Pushkan diplomats offered those chiefs autonomy and Musket arms in exchange for their loyalty againts the resisting Sakha warlords to the East and North of the country and that they will be subject to Pushkan Rule.

The actual plan was to instigate civil war between the Tribes and undermine the allready hopelessly out gunned ( but vociferous and proud) Sakha tribes who whilst losing sakha territory at an increasing rate were causing many more Pushkan and Andrehevian military deaths and logistical damage than the two governments would like to admit.

Sakhastan was finally assimilated into Pushkan and Andrehevian areas of influence within twenty areas, loyal Sakha tribes were rewarded for their obdeiance to the Pushkans by arbitrary persecution and pogroms "Unofficially" intiated by Pushkan cossacks, except for the Yakut tribe who bizzarely appeared to have had a softspot with the fundamentalist Pushkans and assimilated well into Pushkan society ( ergo their facial features and dispositions were more of caucasian extraction as opposed to the Asiatic originated Amga tribesmen).

Andrehevia occupied Eastern Sakhastan and committed the worst atrocities in Sakhastani history literally Massacring most of the tribes in the area and subjecating the scattered remnants to brutal servitude to new colonists arriving from the Ukraine ( where the Andrehevian seat of power was at at the time)

New Settlement by poor, deprived Pushkans and Andrehevians were particulary prevalent as the New exotic rland ellicited the perception of a new unsettled land full of tribal savages ready for their salvation, and also they aspired to move up the Russian Hierhchal spectrum by elevating themselves over the savages and hopefully gain the respect of the Noble peers.

However Pushkan and Andrehevian Upper Echelons simply wanted the Undiserable working classes to move out of the big cities and uphold the final frontiers of their vast empires, Their governments carefully manipulated this situation and within 50 years Sakhastan was becoming a burgeoning "colonial cesspool" with a new colnial population of 6 million Pushkans and 4 million Andrehevians.
