Appeal for international actors.

Three generations ago the Dominion of Sarrowquand was involved in a brutal and divisive civil war. It has so far been recorded only in a quiet history of the nation; little scope or desire to examine the heart and memory of the war has existed. As a people the Dominion has tried to forget the many differences that divided us.

Now the Speakers of Sarrowquand have decided to reverse this decision: They have voted to hold a grand play; a play which will be largely improvised by actors who have little knowledge of the original events surrounding the conflict.

10 roles are open and the details of the play follow.

Anamorphosis of memory:
The Dominion war must not be.

The Dominion war has now raged across Sarrowquand for fifteen years. Sparked by the assassination of the beloved octogenarian 1st speaker: Julius Etchells; and confusion over the post colonial identity of the state; the conflict has been marked by prolonged battles of ideology interspaced with spates of brutal violence.

As such it has led us here: The siege of Port Kerry is the first time that the conflict can be brought to a relatively swift end.

Port Kerry is besieged by three factions.

1: The Brotherhood of the undead-raven: Attacking from the plains to the west of the port.

2: The Nietzschen faction: Striking from the jungle paths to the north of the port.

3: The Imperialists: Lurking off of the south coast on nearby Overwatch Isle awaiting a chance for a naval assault.

Port Kerry itself is currently held by the Royalists.

A key element of the play will be who controls Port Kerry and whether their forces are intact.

The Forces in Port Kerry are isolated but well supplied. Cooperation between two of the other factions would allow those two to overpower the Royalists, though both would be weak to the fourth power; or if the fourth power sided with the Royalists then the other two powers would be beaten off.

If all three attack the Royalists, then the Royalists will be soundly beaten (though the aggressor faction with the most ground forces will then control Port Kerry).

Should only one faction attack then the Port will surely hold.

The Brotherhood posses the most ground forces and will take the city if the Royalists are beaten and they are not.

The Nietzschen’s posses the second largest ground force and will take the Port if both of the other factions are beaten and they are not.

The Imperialists can hold the city only if all other powers are beaten.

Thus there are two elements to this improve play: The first is negotiating the impasse of Port Kerry: The second is the dramatic element of the conflict; as such each faction has two characters.

Just say which role you want. Once we get all the roles filled I'll create a thread for the play. I know that there is already a lot to read up there but there won't be any more information except for a single sentance of info for each character TG'd to the actor's state before the start of the play (they can ignore the TG info if they wish).

Hopefully we'll get enough people wanting to take part.

Oh and first come first served for parts. Anyone can take part but just ask for one character for now.

:)
