Welcome, to the new and improved United States of Trekys Factbook, Redux! As some know, Trekys is a Future Tech only nation. I've been around for awhile, however in the passed I would join and then run away, join and then run away, however that is at an end. Recently, with my college career coming to an end, I seem to have much, much more free time then I thought I would, so I will be coming back to Nationstates for a long time to come. And, to commemorate this, I have decided to redo my factbook. When I first did it, I tried to make it one of the most comprehensive factbooks out there, however I failed miserably... I hope to correct that by redoing it! Please, I hope you enjoy this! Also, you may post now, as I do not need anymore buffer posts! So, please without further ado... Human beings, or humans, Homo sapiens sapiens (Homo sapiens — Latin: "wise human" or "knowing human"[2]), are bipedal primates in the family Hominidae.[3][4] DNA evidence indicates that modern humans originated in Africa about 250,000 years ago. Humans have a highly developed brain, capable of abstract reasoning, language, introspection, and emotion. Humans have a marked appreciation for beauty and aesthetics, which, combined with the desire for self-expression, has led to innovations such as culture, art, literature and music.

Humans are notable for their desire to understand and influence the world around them, seeking to explain and manipulate natural phenomena through science, philosophy, mythology and religion. This natural curiosity has led to the development of advanced tools and skills; humans are the only currently known species known to build fires, cook their food, clothe themselves, and manipulate and develop numerous other technologies. Humans pass down their skills and knowledge to the next generations through education.

218 NS Years BGM
The United States of Trekys launches its first fully Trekys thought up carrier, the Targas Class Super Carrier.


217 NS Years BGM
The United States of Trekys Space Shuttle, Trekys for Freedom, blows up over Federation City Space Center. 30 People died... The Terrorist Group, Commie Trekys, claims responsibility. They have ties with many people that lost their jobs when the Father Knows Best State left Trekys for GOOD.


217-209 NS Years BGM
Trekys and Hallad exchange fire as Trekys was aiding the Rebels overthrow the Hallad Goverment as it was a Dictatorship, however Capitalist. The President did everything without Congress' 'Yes'. When Congress DID vote, they voted a full retreat and 400 NS Years ago, Trekys ended all hostilities with Hallad.


206 NS Years BGM
The United States of Trekys, still stationed on Earth, is struck by 4 bombs. Many brave enlisted men and women perish and many naval ships are destroyed or damaged. Much of the port they were at is also destroyed and many civilians are injured...No one ever claimed responsibility.


206 NS Years BGM
The United States of Trekys sends 25 of its best Marines to the Nazi Weaponized Virus. There, they aid the Nazi Weaponized Virus army dispatch of zombies fromed from the IG Virus created by Communist Mississippi. Almost the Entire squad is killed, but many civilians are saved.


206 NS Years BGM
The United States of Trekys joins the Alliance of Free Nations, along with a list of other nations to help fight communism.


201 NS Years BGM
A Spy is sent into Gurian. No intel is ever sent back to Trekys. Trekys assumed he died and decided to close that chapter in their history. Little else has been declassified on the matter.


134 NS Years BGM
The United States of Trekys aides its ally, Dark Archons, stop a rebellion in their country. Aid was sent, also.


0 NS Years AGM
The United States of Trekys announces that it is a Space Nation and finds a new life in the Rigel System and begins construction on its space fleet.


7 NS Years AGM
Evanesco and the United States of Trekys become formal allies.


8 NS Years AGM
The United States of Trekys formally attacks an unknown object in it's newly found space. Later, it is found out that it is The Fedral Union. A huge battle was fought and the Trekys Defense Fleet retreated back to Rigel III and the protection of its planetary guns. Many lives and ships were lost, but an alliance was formed from those ashes.


12 NS Years AGM
Many personal and ships were lost while scientists were trying to create an AI for all ships in the fleet. The research was dropped after the team made one, however, it learned it could kill its creators. It did and decided to go berserk. The ship was never found and is presumed destroyed.


24-28 NS Years AGM
Gurian is attacked, and although the nation is Modern Tech, and far below our level of technology, the United States of Trekys sends aid to her old ally of times past.


77 NS Years AGM
First contact with Arizona Nova. They wanted to attack, but instead diplomacy ruled the day. We became formal allies, and are still to this day.


170 NS Years AGM
The United States of Trekys sends military and economical aid to The Vuhifellian States, a Modern Tech nation. The marines sent were supposed to be aiding the The Vuhifellian States military, but towards the end switched sides. The President decided to bring all crew and marines home. Almost all supplies were sent to The Vuhifellian States, however, some of the transports were destroyed due to lack of escorts.


171 NS Years AGM
Trekys sends 2 military vessels and 3 science vessels to try and find out why people on El Cornado are decaying. A confrontation with Chronosia leaves 2 science vessels destroyed and a Freedom Class Destroyer Refit destroyed. Some of the crew got off the Freedom Class before it was destroyed, but the Bridge crew claims the Captian stayed behind and went down with his ship. The Captian was named a hero in Trekys and given the Trekys Star of Courage and Valor, the highest decoration anyone can ever recieve.


174 NS Years AGM
The United States of Trekys Mining Vessel, Kor-Nun, enters a system to scan it. They were looking for mining outposts and instead finds a Calpeian fleet. After a breif standoff, the system is marked as dangerous and the Captian radios Trekys Space Command to tell them to open relations with the Calpeian Goverment.


174 NS Years AGM
The United States of Trekys formally announces construction of an Embassy Station where other Nations can have embassies.


192 (July 27th 2005) NS Years AGM
The United States of Trekys begins putting together a Factbook on itself. Completion is supposed to end ETA 2 NS Years.


193 (July 28th 2005) NS Years AGM
The President and Ambassador Senik sign an Alliance agreement with Zactarn Prime. Congress did not like the idea and was always debating wheter or not to leave it. There were many things in the Alliance Treaty that Congress questioned, however, there was not enough people to vote yes on breaking the agreement.


361 (January 8th 2006) NS Years AGM
On this day, the United States of Trekys is fully and officially moved to the galaxy, the Matrix Galaxy. All ships have been reasigned, and full construction has begun. Colony ships shall hold all life until major cities are fully constructed. This should be completed in the coming years, since all the buildings were prefabricated in the original system.


488 (May 15th 2006) NS Years AGM
After 127 years, the United States of Trekys is fully spread out amongst the Matrix Galaxy. The Trekys Defense Fleet has been keeping our territory clear of pirates and enemy nations. President Leonard McCoy is still our Cyborg President, the first and only Cyborg human to hold political power. Also, the United States of Trekys has come back onto the political scene in the universe, stated in the Presidential Speech of 488 AGM.

Overview of UST Government

Brief Overview
The Government of the United States of Trekys is based loosely on the three branches utilized by the United States of America, with one addition. While there are the Three Branches, a fourth one was added after the change to Space Age.

Legislative Branch
Executive Branch
Judicial Branch
Military Branch


The first three branches of government shall be explained, in great detail, in the following sections, however, since the Military Branch is so massive, and commands every military vessel and personal in the Matrix Galaxy, it warrants it's own section and thus, will be explained in detail in the following Post.

Legislative Branch
The Legislative Branch is the law passing and debating branch of the United States of Trekys (To be now known as UST.) government. The UST's laws, rules, and anything other matter that must be debated, is taken care of in the Three Bodies contained in this branch. The three bodies, listed below in no particular order, are:

House of Planetary Representatives {HPR}
House of System Officials {HSO}
Galactic Governing Council {GGC}


The following area's explain in detail what each body does, how officials for that body are elected, how oftened they are elected, and any other information that the public has the right to know.

House of Planetary Representatives {HPR}
The House of Planetary Representatives works the same way as the House of Representatives worked for the United States of America. Based on population, each planet in a system elects X amount of officials based off of population. Regardless of how many planets are in a system, each planet elects based on population, with no cap being given. Each system could have anywhere from 10 representatives to 50. This system makes it hard for corruption, with so many representatives per system.

These officials are elected every 8 years, with many elections happening every year. These officials receive an annual pay of 350,000 Trekys Credits per year. There is a 5 term limit.

When a bill is voted on, for it to pass, each system looks over the bill and votes yes or no. In order for it to be passed onto the House of System Officials, each system must agree to a vote of Yes by 40%. Now, say System X votes 40% yes, System Y votes 30% yes, and System Z votes 50% yes, then the bill is passed because each system averaged a total of 40%. Once the bill is passed, it is passed onto the House of System Officials. If the bill is not passed, then it is sent back to the drawing board.

House of System Officials {HSO}
The House of System Officials works the same way as the Senate does for the United States of America. Each System, regardless of population, elects three Officials. These three officials are not only the elected leaders of said System, but they also make up the next house in the Legislative Branch of the UST government. This House debates a bill after it has passed the House of Planetary Representatives.

These officials are elected every 6 years. They receive an annual pay of 450,000 Trekys Credits per year. There is a 3 term limit.

In order for a bill to continue on to the next house, each bill must receive a total of 65% of the vote in order to pass. While each system has three elected officials (Excluding Military Systems.), each official can vote any way he or she pleases. Two officials could vote yes for a bill that the other official voted no. If the bill is passed, it then heads on over to the Galactic Governing Council.
If, however, the bill should fail. It is then returned to the House of Planetary Representatives where it needs an average vote of 80% of the Systems to agree to a yes. If it passes the House a second time, it forgoes the House of System Officials and is handed directly to the Galactic Governing Council.

Galactic Governing Council {GGC}
The Galactic Governing Council, or the GGC, is the newest House in the Legislative Branch. They have no ties to any particular system and are chosen from across the Matrix Galaxy. They are not picked by the President, but are elected by the two other Houses. Every 10 Years, the House of Planetary Representatives put forth a list of over 55 officials from across the Matrix Galaxy. It is their job to pick 15 people from that list to continue on to the House of System Officials. There, the HSO either vetoes people off the list or votes everyone through. If they veto people off, then the House of Planetary Representatives replaces them with new people, voted on by them. These new names then are passed back to the HSO. Finally, when all 15 officials are elected, they take power in the following year, fully replacing everyone the served the last 10 years.

There is no limit to how many terms a person can serve on the GGC. They are payed an annual income of 650,000 Trekys Credits a year and serve for 10 years.

Once a bill passes both the HPR and the HSO, then it is passed onto the GGC. In order for a bill to pass, and be brought before the President, it must receive majority votes, which is 8 votes. If it receives the 8 votes needed, it is passed onto the President.
If the bill is not passed, it is sent back to the HPR, where it must receive a 80% of the systems average votes. If it passes, it returns to the HSO where it needs a 2/3's vote of yes to pass. If it somehow manages to pass both houses, it forgoes the GGC and is passed directly onto the President.


Executive Branch
In the Executive Branch, the only person of importance is the President. While the Vice-President and the Presidents' Cabinet are included in this Branch, they are more of advisor's to the President then anything else. The Vice-President is basically just there for show, waiting for the day the President dies. The current sections under the Executive Branch are:

President
The President of the United States of Trekys is the most important man in the nation. He alone can determine the fate of bills, just by vetoing those that are most controversial. He is the leader of all the military forces currently weilded by the UST Government. Aside from his ability to veto any bill, he has executive powers that he can exercise. These include:


Declare Martial Law - The President can Declare Martial Law, where he alone decides what should be done in the country, forgoing the Legislative Branch. However, if within 3 months Martial Law isn't receded, then the Legislative Branch has the power to vote to impeach the President.
Declare Small Arms War - Basically, this gives the President the power to declarea Small Arms War. The President is allowed to set a fixed number of ships to a given area without having to ask the Legislative Branch. However, if after 45 Days, the situation isn't resolved and the ships are brought home, the President must go before all three houses and seek each houses approval to formally declare War. If war isn't something the President wishes, he may ask to declare the area a Hot Zone. If a Hot Zone is declared, no more military ships are allowed to enter the area, however resupply ships are allowed. If, after three months the situation is not absolved, the President must either ask for a declaration of war or bring his troops home.
Veto a Bill - If the President Vetoes a bill, it is sent back to the GCC and voted on again. This time, the bill must pass with a minimum of 11 votes. If the bill does not receive 11 votes, it is a dead bill. If it does, then the bill is passed.


Currently, there are no limits to how many terms a President may serve. Each term lasts for 5 years, and the President makes 850,000 Trekys Credits a year.

Vice-President
The Vice-President has little to no power. He is elected every 2 years, is paid 700,000 Trekys Credits per year, and basically just sits around waiting for the President to die in office. Usually, this is a good way for a politician to enter into a higher political scene.

Presidents' Cabinet
The President, upon being elected, is allowed to choose officials to help him run the nation. In order for a person to become a Cabinent member, he must first be chosen by the President. Then an investigation is perferomed, upon completion he is asked to sit in front of all three houses to be elected. If they like him, he or she is then allowed to take that office.

Judicial Branch
The Judicial Branch varies very differently then the one that exists currently in use by the United States of America. The Judicial Branch contains each court ever used in the UST Government. The following is a list of courts, in order from lowest to highest, currently in use by the UST Government:

Region Court
Planetary Court
System Court
Galactic Court
Military Court


The only courts that need an explaining are the Galactic Court and the Military Court. The County court would be similar to County Courts inside states in the US. Region Courts would be similar to those courts, however would cover separate regions. Like NYC and Albany are two separate regions. The Planetary and System Courts acts just like States Courts, with one just being another step higher.

Galactic Court
The Galactic Court is made up of 11 members. They are picked by the President and must go through a long and arduous investigation and questioning before each House. If he or she is allowed to, the Judge takes the mantle of Galactic Judge and sits on the Galactic Court Council for LIFE. They are allowed to hear up to 150 cases a year, while some are cases of people asking for an overlook on their case and another chance to prove their innocence, a lot of the cases heard are those based off of bills passed. It is their job to determine whether a bill is allowed or disallowed based off of the Trekys Constitution.

A Galactic Judge is not paid anything, however, are very well taken care of for their entire life.

Military Court
Very little is known about the Military Court. It is made up of 7 of the most well respected Generals and Admirals in the UST Military. They basically oversee cases by military officials and POWs. All cases are closed and very little information is ever leaked.

The United States of Trekys Space Command (USTSC)
The United States of Trekys Marine Forces (USTMF)
The United States of Trekys Science and Research Command (USTSR)
The United States of Trekys Intelligence Agency (USTiA)

The United States of Trekys Space Command -- USTSC
The United States of Trekys Space Command, USTSC for short, is the commanding body of every Space vessel currently serving the the UST Fleets. The USTSC is responsible for the upkeep of all vessels, as well as building new vessels. While the USTSC does not have to design the ships, they are required to take a working blueprint from the USTSR and make ship of the lines out of them.

Currently, the leader of the USTSC is Fleet Admiral James T. Kirk, who commands every vessel and naval personal. Kirk answers to the Council of Admirals and the President of the UST.
The Council of Admirals is made up of the 7 highest ranking admirals currently in the UST Fleet. Leaders of the USTSC are not allowed to sit on the council, since the Council is the main debating house of the USTSC. If Kirk wants to go to war, before presenting the idea to the President, he must first go through the Council of Admirals. If the Council forbids war, only by a full 7 votes, than Kirk is forbidden from going to the President, however, if even one vote swings in favor of the Leader of the USTSC, he or she is allowed to present the War Case to the President.

As well as overseering the Military Fleet of the UST, the USTSC also oversees all Space Mining efforts, since raw materials are needed to make and maintain ships. All mining operations are kept upto strict codes and guidelines set forth by the Council of Admirals.

Ensign - Lowest Rank on a UST Space Vessel; Most academy graduates recieve this rank after graduation.
Lieutenant; Junior Grade - More responsibilities than an Ensign; Only tops of classes and exceptional students ever get this rank. Promoted from Ensign.
Lieutenant - Most of the Fleet is made up of LT's. Usually, once someones reaches LT, it is hard to keep showing exceptional skills or going above and beyond the call of duty.
Lieutenant Commander - An executive rank. Allowed to take command of a vessel if the Captain and Commander are incapacitated.
Commander - Second-in-command on board of every vessel. Every ship in the UST Fleet is required to have an acting commander.
Captain - Highest rank one can achieve without being given a promotion by the President himself.
Commodore - Lowest flag officer rank; Commands a total of 10 ships.
Rear Admiral - First of the Admiral ranks.
Vice Admiral - More power than a Rear Admiral.
Admiral - Highest rank most officers will EVER see.
Fleet Admiral - Highest rank in the USTSC. Only a few people hold this rank at any one time.

Biography:
Little is known about the life of Leonard McCoy before he entered politics, however, what we do know is that he is not fully human. He is a cyborg, and while some cyborgs age as humans do, the only part of Leonard McCoy that is human is his brain, which is constantly monitored and maintained by his many onboard systems, which keeps it in perfect condition.
From what we can gather, before he was a Cyborg he had a loving Wife and three children. From what's left of the reports, all we know is a tragedy befell them, and the only survivor was Leonard. After year's in a Hospital, the doctors realized the only part of him not dead or damaged was his brain. In what can only be considered the birth of a new race, they recreated his body with robotics and put his brain into it.
Now, many centuries later, He is still the President of the United States of Trekys. Unwilling to not continue to run for President, he has won the last elections dating back all the way to the fall of our dictatorship. For the last fifty years, he has run under his own third party and continuely wins!

Fleet Admiral James Thomas Kirk

Occupation: Fleet Admiral of the entire United States of Trekys Space Fleet and Head of the United States of Trekys Space Command.
Biography:
Fleet Admiral Kirk wasn't a strong man, nor was he a rich man, but he was bright and was able to get into one of Trekys primier academies, The Academy of War and Science. Instead of taking the scientific route at the academy, he decided that he wanted to join the Space Fleet and so began taking classes teaching him about strategies and also on how to lead men into battle. He took more complicated courses later on at the academy, like how to pilot a starship and also on how to work the engineering section on one of the early Utopia Cruisers. When he gradurated, he was awarded command of his own ship.
He quickly gained prestige in the fleet, and began to come up with more efficient ways that the Space Fleet could be run. Leonard McCoy saw what Kirk was trying to do, however, Kirk was running into much opposition. So, to everyone's surprise, McCoy gave Kirk the rank of Fleet Admiral and put him in charge of the United States of Trekys Space Command, or USTSC. From the moment he took his first seat in his new ship, the UST Trekys, he knew he was hoem and began his radical reforms. He is single handedly the reason why the United States of Trekys can patrol the Matrix Galaxy effortlessly.

Biography:
Marcus was born on Destina I, one of the first systems colonized when the United States of Trekys arrived in this system. Both his parents had died when he was young, maybe 8 years old. For 10 years, he lived on the streets, making a name for hismelf as a pickpocket until he picked the pocket of a high ranking general in the UST Marine Force. Instead of severly beating Marcus, General Deliverous took the young Marcus in and formally adopted him some months later. At the age of 25, he began leading men in training exercises, becoming the youngest man and only person directly after training, to recieve a promotion to General for his tactics he used in the training exercises. Marcus took his adopted father's last name shortly after the general died, and since then has been given the job of commanding all the marines in the United States of Trekys Marine Force, USTMF.

Occupation: Leader of the Rigel System Defense Fleet.
Biography:
Information of Rear Admiral Andrew is limited, and what information there is, has not been proven to be correct or false, but from what we gather he was an average joe, did everything a typical Trekys citizen would do on Rigel III, until he had an idea. An idea for a new ship, a ship so massive that it would take over a planet by itself, so he began crunching numbers and drawing statisitics, but no one at the UST Space Command, other then an up and coming Fleet Admiral Kirk, noticed his genious. But, when Kirk became Fleet Admiral, all that changed. Andrew was immediatly drafted into the Space Fleet and given the rank of Rear Admiral. His plans were given to the Trekys Homeland Shipyard, and construction began on the first Invasion Class ship. Today, Kirk saw fit to give Andrew the job of protecting the Captial system, having some 600 ships under his command, Andrew waits for an attack on board the USTS Invasione, the only ship of the Invasion Class to be retrofitted for space fight and not ground warfare.

Overview of the Matrix Galaxy

Matrix Galaxy

The Matrix Galaxy is one of the smallest galaxies close to the Milky Way Galaxy. It is roughly 45,000 Light Years (Lyrs) in diameter, with a center bulge thickness of 13,000 Lyrs, and a thickness of 1,200 Lyrs. It is approx. 17 million Lyrs away from the Milky Way Galaxy, a 45 day trip by Hyperspace just the Jump Core. After arriving to the Matrix Galaxy, the United States of Trekys (UST) set about to find the best system to designate their capital system. After many years of searching, a system near the center was chosen and named Rigel System, after the first system we settled in while in the Milky Way Galaxy.

After setting themselves up on Rigel III, the UST began to branch out and find more suitable planets to colonize. Eventually, a total of 7 other systems were chosen as suitable candidates for UST citizens and automated constructions drones were sent to begin construction of Starports and cities. Within a few centuries, the UST became the only Space Faring civilization in the Matrix Galaxy, having scanned almost every system located in house. Eventually, the UST's military assets began to be a burden on local populaces and a committee was setup to find a way to lift this burden. Eventually, systems were picked and used to house military ships, buildings and mine resources needed for the construction of new vessels.

With UST citizens spread out amongst the Galaxy, UST set about creating two massive super space stations at either end of the Galaxy. These space stations were designated as the only legal way in or out of the Matrix Galaxy, having recently begun (And finished after a few decades.) constructing Sensor Stations a Lyr apart, so as to scan for incoming ships and alert them of the only legal ways in. If a ship is found to pass one of these sensor buoys and enter the Galaxy illegally, the Sensor Stations are equipped to fire a Tracer Beacon onto the ship, alerting Military vessels of the illegal vessel, so they may find its location and eradicate it.

With the UST fully entrenched in the Matrix System, she has set out to find new nations and allies in the neighboring Galaxies, and to one day be at the head of a Galaxy Wide United Nations of sort.

Planets of Importance

Galactic Entrances 1 & 2
Information:

While these are just Super Space Stations, they are still of importance to the United States of Trekys. These two stations are located at either end of the Galaxy, and while the Galaxy spins, they are located in such a way to always be at the tips, so frequent comers to the Matrix Galaxy will always be able to find them.

Other than that, a ring of sensor stations around the Galaxy constantly send out the coordinates of these two massive stations. These stations are the terminals, if you will, of the Galaxy. This way, every ship that enters Treky space is tagged, registered and the Military is notified. So, no ship is EVER lost.

Information:

Rigel III, was one of the first planets colonized when Trekys came to this Galaxy. It was chosen to be colonized for it's relative Earth like position, color and atmosphere.While the Rigel system is close to the center of the Matrix Galaxy, it was chosen for that reason. Since the entire Galaxy was to fall under Treky control, the leadership decided that the center of our territory would make a perfect, defensible location for our Capital Planet.

With a population of 950 million, and growing, Rigel III is the largest colony, population wise, in the Matrix Galaxy.

Mikov III, Mikov System
Information:
While Mikov III is 16 AU from the Mikov sun, and a mostly dead, mining planet it is still worth noting here for one reason... It has two moons that, for reasons unknown to scientists, are habitable. However, one moon, Ares, was made into a research planet to watch and study the indigenous life forms discovered on it. These lifeforms, while they resemble us slightly, have slightly enlarged heads, longer arms, no hair anywhere on their bodies, and they have two sets of two legs, for a total of 4 legs. The humanoids, while different, still represent an offshoot of the Humanoid genome, and for reasons unknown do have a 86% match rate to current humans.

More research is needed to see if these humanoids where transferred here from another planet, or just evolved from the fauna and animal life on it.

Odessey II may look like a regular planet, but on closer inspection it is seen as a major distributor of all food goods throughout the Matrix Galaxy. Due to the planets varying temperature change (While a constant mean temp of 67 °F // 19.444444446 °C is always achieved, it has been known to reach 115 °F // 46.111111111111114 °C during the summer months.) it makes it a prime candidate for agriculture. It creates enough food to feed roughly 65% of the inhabitants of the Matrix Galaxy. The other 35% is covered by planets self sufficiency, however food imports still find their ways into those planets.

Information:
Pride IV, while a relatively dead planet, is still of importance to the United States of Trekys. Due to her size, this planet makes a perfect candidate for mining much needed resources to build and maintain not only homes and other requirements for civilization, but also to build our space vessels. Pride IV is one of the major mining planets in the Matrix Galaxy, and will likely feed the UST raw materials for many years to come.

The idea about having mining planets came about when the first settlers came to the Matrix Galaxy, and beheld the wonder of the Rigel System. Not wanting to ruin it's beauty, they decided to pollute and excavate dead planets, instead of living planets with biospheres so as not to recreate the problems that 21st century Earth was/is having.

Scientists believe that around 5 billion years ago, Earth (UST's ancestral birthplace) once looked like this, and since this planet is still relatively close to the sun, a permanent research station has been setup in orbit to monitor and send robot assistants down to the surface to gather samples. Scientists hope to see how life first began on Earth by studying this planet deeply. If we can find out how we started, we might be able to one day, create life of the more complex kind.

Ultimate Marine Soldier Body Suit (UMSBS)

Information:
The Ultimate Marine Soldier Body Suit, or UMSBS, is designed to keep the UMS personal in an enclosed, bullet proof suit. While the design is not air tight, disallowing space fighting, it is protective enough to withstand most knives, sidearms, assualt rifles and has been known to slow down a Machine Guns bullet enough to keep it from causing death.
The helmet is made of a lightweight steel/fiberglass mesh, with 1" of bullet proof glass, giving the wearer a 205° field of view. It also contains a HUD, linking the amount of ammo left in the current weapon the Marine is holding. The helmet, the heaviest piece in this suit, has two side ducts, with low powered fans attached to a filtration system, allowing the Marine to have a steady, cool supply of air, so as not to be overheated while wearing the helmet.
Around the waist, are located several pouches built into the suit. Two pouches include HRE Grenades and HRF Grenades. The other pouches contain several magazines for both the assault rifle and the sidearm, as well as a lock picking tool.
The UMSBS is meant to only be worn by the UMS, a sect of the Military who are not only genetically enhanced, but have trained for the last 6-9 years to be in this part of the Army.

I completed the Planets of Importance.
I started on the Military Branches and UST Overview posts, as well as added some more info to the Tech of Trekys.

This should be done soon. All that's left is the All Systems Currently Habited by UST and the Afterwards, and to finish the few other sections which I started.
