KPNN Special Report: The Founding of the Democratic Republic of Koryoto
The following is a special report, courtesy of the newly-formed Koryoto People's News Network.
Caspra, May 18th (KPNN) -- Today is an historic day for our sovereign nation of Koryoto. Let it be known that the "Immortal and Wise Great Leader of the People's Revolution" Jacquez Sanchez, Supreme Commander of the Koryoto Liberation Army, has driven the last of the colonial imperialist pigs from our nation and has proclaimed the birth of the "Democratic Republic of Koryoto."
Although our great Republic does not have any form of stable government at the moment, let it be known that the People are in charge. The "Great and Dear Hero of the People's Revolution" Supreme Commander Jacquez Sanchez has declared that he will convene the party of the People, the Socialist Worker's Party of Koryoto, in order to draft a constitution for our Republic and begin the early formation of our government, in the name of the People.
However, let it be known that the "Lovely and Masculine Great Leader of the People's Revolution" Supreme Commander Jacquez Sanchez has been named "Temporal Protector" of our Republic until a stable government is formed. In his first official action as our Republic's Temporal Protector, the "Great Hero of the People's Revolution" Supreme Commander Jacquez Sanchez has declared Martial Law and has ordered all civilians to remain in their quarters indefinitely.
The People's Speech Marks the Birth of the Republic

Caspra, Koryoto (KPNN) -- A KLA (Koryoto Liberation Army) soldier goose-stepped across Caspra Square as canons fired a thirty-eight gun salute, one for every year that the Socialist Workers' Party of Koryoto has fought for the sovereignty and political freedom of Koryoto. It has now come to fruition.
Fifty-thousand people came to Caspra Square, waving flags of the party and holding banner that said "Long Live Freedom!" and "Glory to the Republic!" This was an extravaganza that was organized by the state, on behalf of the People.
The "Great and Immortal Leader of the People's Revolution" Supreme Commander Jacquez Sanchez of the Koryoto Liberation Army delivered his second-ever speech from Caspra Square, where he had already declared the founding of the Republic, and announced the drafting of the Constitution and the formation of the national government.
The People's Leader declared that the Socialist Workers' Party of Koryoto had finished the final draft of the Constitution of the Democratic Republic of Koryoto. He also announced that the People's Assembly (legislative body) formed from elected delegates (by their peers) from the Socialist Workers' Party of Koryoto under the authority of the Constitution of the Democratic Republic of Koryoto had elected him as the first-ever President of the Democratic Republic of Koryoto. He was then sworn in by an unnamed People's Assembly Delegate, thus beginning his six-year term in office under the authority of the Constitution of the Democratic Republic of Koryoto.
The People's Leader also confirmed that he would remain as the Supreme Commander of the Koryoto Liberation Army and declared, "For the first time in the history of the world, the People are directly in charge of the military." It was then that the People's Leader lifted Martial Law and said there were many economic reforms that would be initiated in the future.

Caspra, Koryoto (KPNN) -- This the full text of the "Great and Honorable Leader of the People's Revolution" President Jacquez Sanchez's speech, under the authority of the People, at the rally on Caspra Square, Caspra, to celebrate the founding of the Republic, drafting of the Constitution, and the initiation of the national government.
Fellow Comrades:
Today, we gather here in the majestic Caspra Square for a grand celebration of national independence and domestic political freedom in this newly-formed Democratic Republic of Koryoto.
On behalf of the Socialist Workers' Party of Koryoto, an eternal servant of the People, and the Koryoto Liberation Army, protectors of the People, I would like to pay high tribute to all of those who had sacrificed their livers and became martyrs for a cause that allowed us to achieve independence and democracy in our nation.
Fifty years ago, the fascist pigs of capitalist-imperialism invaded and swiftly conquered our homeland. It was then that they imprisoned our national heroes and leaders and made us slaves to their so-called "free markets." It was also then that the People of Koryoto stood up and began the national resistance against these foreigners and their traitor-puppets that sold out to the enemy.
Thirty-eight years ago, Comrade Max Pow and myself made a decision to form the Socialist Workers' Party of Koryoto, in order to fight for both national independence and the rights of the Koryoto workers that were being exploited by the fiendish minions of fascist-capitalism and their trained traitor-puppets.
Under the guidance of the People, the Socialist Workers' Party of Koryoto has finally defeated the greedy foreign pigs and their whipped traitor-puppets and has declared the national independence and international autonomy of both this nation and the will of the People.
We will continue to submit ourselves to the will of the People and build a successful country based on the basic fundamentals of socialism and the skills of the People. Koryoto will surely emerge as a prosperous, strong, democratic, and culturally advanced modern socialist country in this world.
