Kampfers

OOC: This is CLOSED unless invited by Greal or me. And Greal, don't go around spamming people for help. It will make both of our lives easier. All comments to the general Med Crisis OOC thread plox, although if that gets overwhelmed we can make a separate thread. I will have your posts deleted. I'd like to put in more here but I'm a bit tired x_x
A wise Kampferian once said "Kehre vor Deiner eigenen Tür." Literally, the phrase means "Don't mess with other people's business, for it is better to take care of your own." The statement, very popular within Kampfers, had been applied on anything from global affairs to things such as the neighbors lawn. The nation of Greal had foolishly decided to intervene in a simple affair; unbeknownst to them, they had stepped on a hornets nest.
Kampfers Stadt, Kampfers
In the office of the Fuhrer
Richtoff ran his hand through his dark brown hair slowly, taking a deep breath as he noted the newest nations to join the fray. He tugged on his tie, loosening it a bit, and let loose a deep sigh. It seemed like fewer and fewer nations of the world had the wits to not mess with Haven. As he continued to stroke his hair, he swung his chair around, and reached for his keyboard. Something had to be done about all these pesky nations. Although, what could be done? The Kampferian commitment to the Mediterranican region was high, and although Kampfers could easily handle committing more forces, as the tensions between the Alliance for the Preservation Of Civilization and the New Alliance Treaty Organization had Kampfers on an all time high alert level, Richtoff was reluctant to position his men so far from home.
"Alas," he cried aloud, "it is not like in the days of my forefathers. They were able to throw men into the fray left and right without caring for the so-called 'will of the people.' I suppose Kampfers could reposition herself to strike without making too horrid an adjustment." He turned to his computer, and began calculating basic figures. Trained in the military arts, he would not make a decision without first consulting his generals, but he wanted to have an idea of what he could look forward to committing if he followed through.
Currently in the Mediterranican region, Kampfers had a large deployment through Task Force: Nuclear Mandate, as well as the submarines in theatre. The whole of the Kampferian Kriegsmarine contains well over two-thousand surface combatants, all of Questarian make. Simply figuring it in his head, Richtoff quickly determined that numbers would not be an issue. The key would be the soldiers morale: if the war progressed quickly, he could expect victory, however if time began to draw out, he would be pressing the limits of his power. More than one-thousand ships of the Kriegsmarine were untouchable: they were for use in Haven only. With what remained, Richtoff began to determine what he would send.
The target he selected was Greal. Quite simply, the nation of Volzgrad did not warrant Richtoff's efforts, and Greal was a lucrative option. First, it occupied a slot in the up and coming region Novus Universitas, which housed the nation of Yanitaria, recently accepted member of the Fedala Accord, the same alliance to which Questers was now applying. Establishing a foothold in the region would give the swelling Kampferian Empire yet another doorway to the world, besides the regional pride they felt within Haven. Furthermore, Greal had previously been attacked by a nation extremely friendly to Kampfers, The Peoples Freedom, and they maintained a control zone. If TPF's aid could be secured, or at least the use of their land for basing rights could be attained, Kampfers would have won half the battle already.
Although he had originally planned to leave Task Force: Nuclear Mandate in theatre with Waldenburg, Richtoff quickly determined that it would be best for her to incorporate herself into the attacking force. The nuclear submarines in Mediterranica would remain, however, a threat if anyone decided to lower their standards to that of large scale nuclear weapons. Task Force: Nuclear Mandate was tasked with rendezvousing with the eventual fleet, Task Force: Explosive Repulse outside of Novus Universitas waters. Once the two groups conjoined, the combined Kampferian fleet would comprise more than 500 surface combatants, as well as 75 Dallas Class SSN's and 25 Ohio Class SSBN's. Just like in Mediterranica, Kampfers would be well prepared if things went south. If given bases by The Peoples Freedom, Richtoff was prepared to move in a whole Numbered Air Force of the Kampferian Luftwaffe as well, with the possibility for a second later in the war. Lastly, Richtoff was prepared to send up to 160 divisions of pure Kampferians at 12,000 men each if necessary, although he doubted such numbers would be. And if there was a shortage of men within Kampfers there were always Doomani mercenaries that he could count on.
A knock came to the wooden door, and Richtoff beckoned the man in. As the door creaked open, Richtoff reminded himself to have someone grease it, and then turned his attention to the man entering the room: his good friend and top adviser General Klischten. "Hey man, great to see you. Just planning bare tactics here for Greal."
Klischten smiled at his friend, and took a seat. "Always a sly one, aren't ya," he said in his typical drawl. "I take it that military operations are imminent?"
Richtoff pushed a few files to the side of his desk, making room for his keyboard that had been in his lap. "Yes sir, they should commence shortly. The main question is who will try to stop us. Stoklomolvi might, so might the Beatus. Honestly, I really don't know. There hasn't been a peep out of Norsikia or Erislal in ages, so I doubt they will do much. The same could go for Corbournne. Yanitaria is in the Fedala Accords, so we can probably keep them away via a few clauses within their charter, namely due to our alliances with the Questarians and the Vetakans. For the most part, the region has been extremely quiet as of late, and that makes it extremely hard to predict who will side where."
Klischten pushed his hat back and sat forward in his seat, noting what Richtoff had said carefully. "In my opinion, sir, you should probably send them a message warning them of potential consequences for interfering. Don't be too much of a threat, but make them wary enough to keep a distance. From what I understand, Novus Universitas lacks the general xenophobia of Haven, or the all encompassing alliance that the Mediterranican Union tried to implement before we interfered."
Richtoff nodded, and dismissed his friend. It was time to get down to business.

[TO] The World, especially the nations involved in the Mediterranican Affair and the nations of Novus Universitas
[FROM] The Neo-Prussian Dictatorship of Kampfers
Even a fool can tell the difference between a suicide mission and a safe bet. Is this now what we are to think of the government of Greal, that they are all fools? I know not that, but I do know one thing: they should have stayed in the wings were they belonged. By supporting the nation of Greston and the Mediterranican Union in their foolish campaign against Haven, they have brought much heartbreak and sorrow upon themselves, and from this there can be no escape. Even now, forces from Kampfers bear down upon the region of Novus Universitas, with one purpose: to end the nation of Greal as we know it. Let this be a lesson to all the nations of the world: meddle not in the affairs of Haven, lest Haven come to meddle in your own. Nations who may aid the Mediterranican Union be forewarned: this can just as easily be you.
To the nations of Novus Universitas, I say this. Suffer not the fool, and spare not the weak. My quarrel is with the nation of Greal, and the nation of Greal alone. Rest assured that no damage will come to you if you permit Kampfers to attack unharmed. However, should you take the other path, the storms that will ravage your nation will not cease for the next three millennia. Spare your citizens, and our soldiers. Do not waste your time in the defense of a nation already defeated.
To the leaders of Greal, I say this. You have one last chance to spare yourself the oncoming storm. If, and only if, you unconditionally surrender yourselves to Kampfers within the next twenty-four hours, and raise a white flag above your capitol buildings as a sign of your capitulation, Kampfers will not wage war against your nation. Rather, we will rebuild it, and make it stronger and better than it ever was before. If not, then I wish mercy upon the sons of your nation whom you foolishly throw away to war. There can be no victory for you here. Kampfers marches onwards. The burden is on your shoulders.

If you can not directly assist us militarily, which would be much appreciated, we would request the use of your bases from which to resupply our troops and conduct strikes into Greal before we can attain bases not within your territory. A prompt response would be requested, as the fate of a large number of Kampferian forces rests on your decision. Shall we forge our own path, and make our own beachhead, with considerable loss of life? Or will you aid, and make this war quick and painless, at least as far as we are both concerned. The choice is yours.
