DECLASSIFIED
Report by the United Socialist States of New Brittonia Director of National Intelligence
“The United Socialist States of New Brittonia hereby condemns the recent wave of anti-Semitic actions taken by Jaredcoheia and other nations in the world.”
Statement by Foreign Minister Nabila Katchab
Classified
The recent anti-Semitic actions taken by many nations in the world threaten the basic principles of New Brittonian neutrality, and shows a rift in Brittonian politics, which is regardless of political affiliation, instead a mindset view. On one side is the basic principle of New Brittonian non-intervention in national affairs, as per Article VII of the New Brittonian Constitution, commonly referred to as “the Neutrality Clause”. On the other is the “Brittonian mindset”, that New Brittonia is an ensemble of many cultures, native and nonnative, colonizers and immigrants, all placed together in one nation in order to make the world a better place. This unique mindset is evident in the New Brittonian Marine Corps motto, “to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves”,
The question is, however, can the New Brittonians legally intervene in all of the world’s ethnic cleansings and genocides? That question will have to be answered by future generations, as the late former Prime Minister David Flower began to blur that line with the deployment of New Brittonian Marines to aid in floods in Kirav, covertly sent in military aid to a tribe of non-human sentient Orcs, and overtly sent aid to an extremist Islamic Sharia law following Lebanese Australian government.
With the recent sending of humanitarian aid to the Carnelian Island in the Jacob Crouch administration, the New Brittonian government and populace seems to be heavily in favor in using military forces to save lives, when there are no hostile forces. However, when intervening in a genocide, there will be hostile forces, as that is a given fact. The New Brittonian military is definitely capable of fighting any irregular or even a nation’s regular forces, as with training techniques such as Classified and weapons systems such as Classified.
CONCLUSION
Although the New Brittonian military is well more than capable in supporting aid relief efforts a natural disaster in a foreign land, ending a genocide is another problem, not because of military training however but there are domestic social issues, as New Brittonian neutrality being the key one. Still, with the growing amount of conflicts and tensions in the world, the topic of New Brittonian neutrality will be a topic what will be discussed in Parliament, and, although New Brittonia might be able to support a moot condemnation, that might not be enough for future generations.
