To: The military of Chernobl
From: Ravenkov Security Arsenal
We would like to put forth our combined armor and helmet system. The armor we are putting forth is the Mk.2 model, if you want the Mk.1 (cheapest) or Mk.3 (most expensive) then simply ask. If you wish, then we will show you our NBC suit based off of the Iron Curtain series.
Mk.2 Integrated Combat Suit (Iron Curtain)

Designed in: 2001
Designed by: Vasili Ravenkov, Founder of RSA
Components: 2 heavy grade "Sentinel" kevlar shoulder pads, 1 heavy grade "Sentinel" kevlar assault vest (scout vest is also available), 1 heavy composite assault helmet (cross-com communications eye screen is standard on all models), 2 lightweight "Defender" kevlar elbow pads, 2 lightweight "Defender" kevlar knee pads, 2 "Firestorm" class assault boots, (Optional) 1 backpack with grenade and ammo pouches.
First use: 2003
Used by: All branches of the Volzgradien military. Several client nations also use the Mk.2 to a limited extent.
Available Camouflage: Woodland, Snow, Urban, Jungle, Mountain (one in picture), and Desert.
Description: The Mk.2 ICS is possibly the most prominent symbol of Volzgradien military might and technology. Designed by RSA founder Vasili Ravenkov, the "Iron Curtain" combat suit was an impossible dream. However, when Volzgrad quickly went into a massive economic boom, countless Blades were spent of military technology. Finally, the Mk. 1 scout suit and Mk.2 combat suit were ready by July 2003. In 2008, the Mk.3 siege suit was created, which has almost double the protection of the Mk.2 suit. The "Iron Curtain" series of ICS is currently in service with all branches of the Volzgradien military and is used by several client states.
Cost: $2330 USD per unit
OOC: Yes I have realized that this suit uses massive amounts of kevlar.

The 7.62 mm x 49 mm round is deisgned to have maxium lethality. The round is tugnsten that is teflon coated to reduce air friction. At 100 mters it has a 1.2 cm drop, at 250 meters it has a 2.36 cm drop, and at 350 meters the drop is 3.2 cm. Hollow point rounds have a core of phosphorous partialy exposed to the outside air, so that on impact with unarmored targets burning phosphorous enters the body, and is released when the mass of the bullet slows down so that the densely packed burning phosphorous travels into the body causing further pain and damage hopefuly stopping the target.
Sights
The Digital scope is built onto the weapon with a small camera on just above the barrel, which transmits back to the scope in HD allowing high resolution images for night and day, which turns on when the safety is turned off, saving battery power. The view screen can zoom to see targets at ranges up to 3600 meters, although round trajectory is not acounted for, forcing soliders to self compensate for drop at any range beyond 350 meters. The Screen and camera is powered by a Lithium Ion Battery pack built under the barrel, which can be replaced by soilders in the field quickly. The Digital screen isa clipp onto the scope which is has laser dot system that is sighted to where the round will hit before it is issued to the troops. Most probably, due to its high cost, you might not be able to replace all of your inventory with the weapon we offer. But if that's the case, we nonetheless suggest that you consider it for elite forces: special operations, airborne, and snipers. Their training costs hundreds of thousands, and the cost of an advanced rifle is a small price to pay for significant capabilities enhancement.

Main Design thread (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=139)
R1 is a high-grade precision rifle, suitable for use against targets ranging from unarmored to the heaviest wearable armour and even APC. This capability is achieved through use of lightweight caseless ammunition, precise electric ignition, and advanced counter-recoil system, making the weapon very comfortable.
A unique capability is that R1 accepts rounds of different size: thus, the shooter can carry feather-light 8x16mm rounds for usual work, yet pack a magazine of powerful 8x63mm which can pierce armour impenetrable even to .50BMG. What's more, it even can fire standard 7.62mm ammunition, although at reduced accuracy. In each size, there's a wide variety of rounds to choose from, and magazines packing from 20 to 100 rounds.
Even the standard version has sniper-grade accuracy with proper rounds, and the marksman version is used by multiple nations as the top-end sniper rifle.
R1 is built in different variants, from SMG-sized carbines to fully fledged sniper rifles and even a light machinegun.
This weapon is usually available at $30,000 per rifle with an ammunition kit even in large orders, but as a special we can offer it to you for just $20,000 each, as to another post-nuclear nation. And a lightened version would be available for $16,000.
For price of other variants, see the main article (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=139). Again, we would be ready to make a discount for you even from the allies/partners price.
The specifications of standard version are as follows:
Available in 8mm and 6.3mm
Length overall: 800mm compacted, 880mm with stock and flash suppressor extracted
Barrel length: 600mm (including chamber)
Mass: 4.0kg loaded with CL8-25 40 rounds magazine
Rate of fire: 1200rpm cyclic (2 rounds), 900rpm sustained
Accuracy:
50% in 0.4MOA at 100m, benchrested
50% in 0.6MOA at 500m
Rounds supported: 8mm caseless, 16 to 63 mm long
7.62..7.92 cased rounds, using supplied insert.
Other versions and round specifications can be seen in the main article (http://z4.invisionfree.com/NSDraftroom/index.php?showtopic=139).
With best regards,
Anthony Stevens.
