Vitalita Unviels Its Magnet Clock Wall
Another Cool Idea - If Nothing More Than A Giant Attraction
Vitalita, ViZion —
Clocks are cool. Magnets are cool. Massive walls are cool. So what do you get when to combine them all into one?
You get Vitalita's Magnet Clock Wall. Located in the Central Vitalita Golden Garden, this large wall, 60 feet wide and 40 feet tall, encompasses 140,000 large metal balls to tell the time. Each ball has a glow-in-the-dark decorative side as well as a magnetic side, and is electrically activated to show the appropriate side to either tell the time or display a message. It is said to use far less energy than an LCD display.
And while this may be nothing more than a cool attraction and show of different ways to save power, it is something that Vitalita's citizens and visitors can gawk at due to its sheer size and uniqueness. After all, this is the only magnetic clock wall in the world.
And with that, its creator, Relic Time Pieces, has announced it will begin selling wrist watches using this same technology - priced at $199.95.
