After the death of the now deceased previous Emperor Olaf IV, there had been a wide sweeping changes of laws, implemented by the current Emperor Ingolf III, there had been little done to reserve the countless laws which existed, both on the national level and provincial, that negated the rights of non-Europeans on many levels, such as not allowing them to vote in many aspects and in others preventing them from living in the same areas as Europeans. Such laws had been implemented for centuries and the Imperial stance on such matters was that it was a provincial matter and could only be changed by the majority to will such a drastic change in national policy, though the Emperors did posses the ability to easily call and implement such change the Emperors have always preferred a more lassie faire approach to dealing with the will of the people. Yet, there were notable exceptions made to minority individuals who had served in the Imperial Armed and for college educated foreigners who had immigrated to the Scandinvan Empire.

The apartheid type laws of the majority of the Scandinvan Empire had placed a large majority of the non-European minority groups into ‘ethnic’ provinces where they maintained their own localized governments and had their own citizenships issued, which was the excuse made by their appointed governors that they should not vote in the Scandinvan national elections. Such excuses and a general resentment towards the various minority groups of the Empire after the murder of the popular Emperor Olaf IV by a member of said ethnic provinces.

Now as the old laws of the repressive regime of Emperor Olaf IV were being pushed aside by the new Emperor. Many minority groups had come to hope that Emperor Olaf IV would allow the minority groups to integrate into the greater population of the Scandinvan Empire. But, there wishes were dashed with a recent High Court ruling which upheld segregation in a frontier province in the Scandinvan Empire and actively ruled that segregation was a protected as a provincial, as there had never been an equal rights act passed in the Empire, and the Emperor’s failure to do anything upset many members of the minority groups inside the Scandinvan Empire.

With such events occurring in the Scandinvan Empire many of the more committed minority rights groups in the Empire had come to the conclusion that they must make their case known to the greater Scandinvan Empire, and to make the world aware of the situation of non-European groups within the Scandinvan Empire. As well, they hoped by showing the world of the roots of their cause they might get the international community to support the end of the racially based laws that ruled many aspects of the Scandinvan Empire.

“On Tuesday of this week, a large group of minority activists, estimated to be around six hundred thousand, attended a rally hosted by the “Equal Rights Now” group in the Parliamentary capital of Valdra. To state the rally was most peaceful with only a number of people arrested due to suspicion of being part of a small group of individuals who damaged a private residence after they illegally trespassed on the land.

As for the exact objectives of the rally and the “Equal Rights Now” was to end the laws that throughout much of the Empire that prevent non-Europeans from voting, marrying outside of their own ethnic groups, segregating schools, prevention of them attaining public offices, and many other things germane to those matter.

The sponsor group of the rally also made a speech in which he requested that the Emperor Ingolf III use his Imperial powers to push aside the oppressive laws of the Empire and the group has also requested the international community show soladitary with the “Equal Rights Now” objectives.

Other then these things little else was done in response to the rally, save increase security details to prevent the crowds from getting out of controls and to prevent radicals from inciting a large scale riot.

Though the Emperor, Ingolf III, would be well within his legally delegated powers to overturn such laws, the Emperor how believes that any such action would go against the very foundations of the unspoken social compact that exists between the provincial government, Parliament, and the Emperor. While we do respect the straightforwardness of our allies the Emperor Ingolf III must state that while he does wish for his people to support general equal rights for all, he does feel that it is not his place to force such a change upon the society of the Empire as he treats the matters that relate purely to civil rights as a inalienable right of the various provinces and vassal states of the Scandinvan Empire to decide for themselves. Mokan students attending various schools around Scandinavia were up in arms, figuratively over the civil rights movement. While many students who chose to came where mostly conservatives and catholics, being a Hispanic minority in a slightly racist country was quickly bringing them over from the side of the indifferent to the side of the movement. The more leftist Mokan university students were quickly forming groups on campuses and soon had formed an organization to be known as "Organization of Students for a Better Tomorrow" or the OSBT. Funded lightly by the Mokan Government they began holding rallies across campuses to get more students to support rights for all people in Scandinavian territories.

"It is time for a Revolution!" Junior Bethany Hernandez shouted via Loudspeakers to the crowd, "Not a revolution out of hate, but one of love! It is time we ended the hate against minorities in The Scandinvans once and for all. Let us make them right into law our rights, let us make them understand we are people to. How can our allies be free when we are not! I came here to be amongst like minded people, to deepen my understanding of the conservative mindset, but all I have found is hatred and bigotry, the leftist may be extreme, but even they have a few things right. Am I saying your country's policies can be compared to one of the most hideously racist regimes in history? No. Am I saying your country will fall into civil war? I did not choose to be born in a slum to a Japanese man and a black woman, and nobody in your country chose to be born to two Arabs in the Scandinvan Empire. These ideas, saying that ethnically alien immigrant groups have some sort of natural 'right' to live, work in, and vote in, a culturally established nation, whether or not they commit to its laws, are fallacies implanted into societies by governments looking for cheap labour or political parties seeking immigrant or minority votes.

Also, we caution the Scandinavians against affirmative action policies that discriminate blatantly against majorities, and also against promotions of 'diversity' and cultural pluralism. The latter is reasonable in a fully immigratory nation, say the United States or Cookesland, but not in an ethnically homogenous or ethnically established country.

We feel that, in the situation at hand, ethnic minorities must accept Scandinavian ways, languages, customs, and ways of life before they can be admitted as full citizens, not only those of their ethnic province. Yet, we believe that civil, social, and economic freedoms ought to be equal for all.

Just another point...why are non-white immigrants even coming to your country at this point? Are they at all? It seems like all they get is institutionalized discrimination from the government and hatred from the populace.

Also, would your country have slummy areas near the white cities, so they could be domestic servants, construction workers, burger-flippers, and the like in the city, a la the townships in apartheid South Africa?

These ideas, saying that ethnically alien immigrant groups have some sort of natural 'right' to live, work in, and vote in, a culturally established nation, whether or not they commit to its laws, are fallacies implanted into societies by governments looking for cheap labour or political parties seeking immigrant or minority votes.

Also, we caution the Scandinavians against affirmative action policies that discriminate blatantly against majorities, and also against promotions of 'diversity' and cultural pluralism. The latter is reasonable in a fully immigratory nation, say the United States or Cookesland, but not in an ethnically homogenous or ethnically established country.

Just another point...why are non-white immigrants even coming to your country at this point? Are they at all? It seems like all they get is institutionalized discrimination from the government and hatred from the populace.

To point out Valdra and its adjacent areas, are more of a international community and its laws are subject to the Scandinvan Parliament and as such many laws that have caused the movement are quite rare in the city. Further, many students come to study at Scandinvan universities, which are elite schools by any standard, and many naturalized immigrants recieve full citizenship which grants them protection from many segregation laws.

To state nearly all ethnic persons dwell in ethnic provinces with only a farily small percent dwelling in the cities as low class workers or as servants.

Nur Abdul-Alim gagged as the stench of the rotten egg he had just been pelted in the back with drifted towards his nose. Despite the biting winter cold, he stripped off his worn brown jacket and dropped it on the sidewalk. Behind him, a car full of white teenagers with shaved heads jeered at him.

"Go back to the fucking desert, dune coon!" one skinhead, leaning out of the passenger side window, shouted at him. This time, Nur ducked under the egg thrown at him. Not that they would listen, but Nur felt the need to protest.

"I was born here!" he shouted back at the car, "I'm a fucking citizen! How do you expect me to go back to a place I've never seen in my life?!"

The kid laughed, throwing another egg. Nur once again dodged it.

"You?! A citizen?! Your kind can never be part of this country! You may have taken a couple of classes in college, but you'll never be a Scandinvan!"

One last egg was hurled at him. It wasn't even close, hitting a nearby wall. The car full of skinheads drove off, making the obligatory Roman salute and shouting "White power!" as they did. Nur watched them drive off with burning hatred in his eyes, as if an angry stare would make the car get hit by a train or something. When they were gone, he turned and kicked a nearby dumpster, shouting profanities in Arabic.

"Jerks, aren't they?" a gravelly voice from behind him asked rhetorically.

Nur turned around. A white, but dirty and disheveled Scandinvan man sat in the alley, a jacket even dirtier and more worn than Nur's on his shoulders.

"You a vet?" he asked.

"Yeah. How'd you know?" Nur asked, even though he halfway knew the answer.

"You're missing a hand, kid," the bum said, "If you're in the city, Arab, and missing a hand, you were probably in a war."

Nur nodded, ruefully looking at the stump where his right hand used to be. He had gotten back from the war fairly recently, after he was discharged for that very injury.

"And they still treat you like garbage..." the bum said. He put a cigarette between his lips and struck a match on his jeans, which were full of holes.

"My advice, kid," he said, lighting the cigarette with his match, "Do something about it. I sat there and took it for all of my life. Now I sit in this alleyway and hope I don't get frostbite during the winter."

Nur nodded, as he turned and began to limp away. That was another thing the war had left him with; a limp. "I'll remember that, brother. Thanks."

(CITY IN ETHNIC PROVINCE), MAY 2008

And remember it Nur Abdul-Alim did.

He and his right-hand man, Fahd Jibran, stood in front of a gathering in the basement of a public library of the ethnic province's largest city. The group was diverse; blue-collar workers, teachers, people who looked like gang members, housewives, and most other types of people imaginable. The group chatted amongst themselves.

"Quiet down, brothers and sisters!" Nur said, raising a hand for silence. The noise of the gathering began to decline. When it stopped, he began to speak.

"You see, I was born to refugees from Gaza, in a small, obscure Arab sultanate called...the Scandinvan Empire," Nur said. People laughed at that bit. "I grew up in a slum outside of Valdra. I couldn't go to school because I had to work, so my family could eat, and pay the rent for our apartment. I made up my mind to get out, and enlisted when I could. I lost a hand, and a good leg fighting back in '05. When I got back, the army put medals on my chest, and awarded me citizenship. I've never felt like I belonged in any group, Scandinvan, Arab, or anything else, but I felt like I belonged then. Then I started living in the city, and I got hit with reality."

"The cops still treat you like they do in the slums, or in the provinces," he continued, "They still stare at you if you talk in Arabic. Some of them still won't let you shop in their stores. And there are still Norse First cronies throwing bags of shit at you."

"I speak fluent Scandinvan. I used to go to their churches. I used to dress like they do. But you know what I realize? If you aren't already the blond-haired, blue-eyed, milk-white Nordic that makes these Olaf IV-types cum in their pants, it doesn't matter how many wars you fought for them, or how many times you've gone to college. They still treat you like scum!"

"I lost a HAND in a war started by politicians I never got to vote for!" Nur said, "And for what?! To be treated like a person? When they get those rights coming out of their mothers, just because they happen to be white? Is this justice, brothers and sisters?"

A resounding "No!" came back.

"That's what I thought," Nur said, "The bullshit stops here. We're here because we want a society in which people are treated like people, and nobody is discriminated against because of the skin color they never chose."

"The manifesto is on the board behind me, and you guys have paper copies in your hands," he continued, "I need you guys to get this message out to everyone you know. Not just here, but in the province, in the other provinces, in the cities, in the whole country, out of the country. We can't rely on college kids in Valdra to get us our rights. We have to do this with our own two hands."

And the next day, the manifesto of the All People's Revolutionary Congress had gone to any place that the group that met in that basement could get it (I'll put the whole thing in another post). And the APRC's members had begun making attempts at accomplishing the goals laid out in the manifesto. The first social programs they commenced with were free breakfasts for children, and political and economic education for the people of the provinces and the slums, with even more programs in the planning phase. They also formed "self-defense squads," to defend people from the activities of gangs. And, perhaps, police officers who didn't follow regulations.

The self-defeating system of racism in place would fall; Nur Abdul-Alim was sure of it. He would just make it happen faster.

SCLC Headquarters- 3:45 PM, Local Time

When the bombs hit, first of all, no one thought that it would happen in the middle of the day.
“Balls”, Dr. King said, “Those men had balls.”

Now, in the case of an event such as this, the first goal was to check for who was dead, and to care for the wounded. Luckily, as they were small bombs, much of the damage was property, and as the benefactors for the SCLC were Brittonian millionaires and billionaires and local politicians, the damage would be taken care of.

Two groups of people were sent out, the medics and the press team. The medics would find that sadly, five people were killed, and two dozen were killed, but those injuries would be minor, broken bones and minor burns. The press team, just a bunch of journalism majors (or minors) with digital video cameras, taking the videos of the dead and the damaged. Of course, the physical war they might be losing, but the propaganda war, the media war, the YouTube war, oh the SCLC was wining, because, in the 21st century, if you show yourself as nonviolent and get enough hits of YouTube and posts on the blogs, if the media and the “talking heads” love you, you’re gonna win the hearts and minds, that’s how Gandhi and Martin Luther King did it and that’s the way Malcolm King’s deciding to do it.

Undisclosed Location, Midnight

In what looked like to be a basement, sitting around an old poker table, the heads of the different departments of the SCLC were sitting around. Dr. Malcolm King, was sitting in a chair, nobody spoke, everyone’s eyes were at him. Dr. King took a puff of a cigarette, the smoke waved around the room, going in people’s faces, around the one hanging light bulb, until it finally dissipated into thin air.

Dr. King stroked his hair, and said,
“Well, so what’s the status, Hayden?”

Hayden Anderson, a local Scandinavian college student, said,
“Much of the damage was property, there were some people hurt, though.”

“Oh.”, the Doctor said, “Hey, where’s Alice?”, referring to a Brittonian college student who is the SCLC’s Media Relations Chair.

“She was hit, third degree burns, in the hospital as we speak.”, Hayden said.

“Wow… I’ll pray for her.”, Dr. King said, he made the sign of the cross.

There was a moment of silence where nobody spoke for two minutes when the Doctor then said,

“Okay, how the fuck did they know who we were, we just bought a building, we didn’t start any projects, we didn’t build schools or jobs… how the fuck did these people know who the fuck we are?”

No one responded.

A tall blonde woman said,
“They’re good, it got 850,000 YouTube hits and it was seen on… I know on the NBBC and CNN, the AP and Reuters took it too, so it should be widely distributed.”

A more serious look came over Aisha's face. In a tone that was likewise more serious, she replied, "I do, but Chairman Abdul-Alim would prefer if he was the one to speak to you about that. Please hold."

"Vice Chairman, the Intelligence Ministry's on the phone. Where's Nur?" she said in a confidential whisper. Fahd's face likewise darkened.

"He's helping with the breakfast program down near the mosque," he replied, running out the door and grabbing a pair of helmets hanging near the door as he did, "I'll go get him."

After a while, Fahd came back, Nur limping behind him. The Chairman already seemed apprised to the situation.

"Thank you for holding. Chairman Abdul-Alim will speak with you now," Aisha said, before handing the receiver to Nur.

"Hello, this is Chairman Nur Abdul-Alim speaking," he said, looking down at a copy of the Manifesto, "I understand you would like clarification of our goals?"

"They're laid out in the Eightfold Path to Social Justice in our Manifesto," he continued, "In case you haven't seen it, they go something like this:

1. We want equal standing for all citizens regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, social class, sexual orientation, age, disability status, etc.
2. We want enfranchisement of all who have been unjustly denied the right to participate in government.
3. We want freedom of travel and residency for all, regardless of ethnicity, veteran status, or education.
4. We want food, clothes, shelter, and other basic necessities for all who require it.
5. We want equal, integrated education for all people.
6. We want equitable pay within the workforce for all people.
7. We want police brutality and the "secret policing" of this country to end.
8. We assert the right to defend ourselves against all who would attack us."

"Is there any part of that you need clarified, or anything specific you'd like to know?" Nur asked.

SnipOOC: Please realize that my country is actually quite a different culture from the rest of the world and as such a few mere deaths do not really concern the majority of the population, as a majority of my nation's population are quite unconcnered with the minoirties of the country and if a buidling is bombed at any time they consider it little more then averge business for said groups. Also, currently no group has claimed responbility for the bombing and neither has proof, other then circumstantial evidence, can be produced by your group. IC: The largest news group of the Scandinvan Empire, the Impeiral News Network, had heard of the news incidence and had sent a lone reporter to handle the story of the bombing and also to produce a segment about the SCLC for broadcast by the INN. Otherwise, the Imperial Police had decided to prevent the story from becoming an international belmish for the regieme of Emperor Ingnolf III and for the Parliament of the Scandinvan Empire. Thus the International media representatives who were allowed to cover the story were choosen from a select group of individuals who were full citizens of the Scandinvan Empire and had proven themselves to hold a preferable sympathy towards the Empire.

In the meantime the Imperial Police had surronded the entire neighbor with armed guards and had also dispatched riot police in the case of a riot. The purpose of the dispatchment of police was to prevnet large numbers of people from coming to view the event and to stop any foreign press to view the scene who did not have the consnet of the Scandinvan government. However, the police had been instructed to allow all persons who had worked in the area before hand or lived in the neighborhood to come in and out of the police blockade.

Yet, to begin my series of questions it has come to my attention that you claim to have been denied your right to vote, despite ascending from auxiliary citizenship to full citizenship. I wish to know that is this true and if it is please inform to as who denied you your right to vote so that proper actions might be taken to rectify this error.

In regards to the manifesto of your group I have a number of concerns about it as it seems to oppose the core values of the Scandinvan people and it endorses policies which undermine the authority of the Imperial government to properly protect its people by granting people the power to simply counteract police forces and to assail others rather freely if you believe they attack, be it they only verbally attack your group.

The manifesto also seems to espouse socialists tendencies as you deem it necessary for the government of the Scandinvan Empire to supply goods freely to all people for what it seems to be permanent. Currently, the Empire supply short term relief for recently fired persons, but does not offer long term support as such support would make be people reliant on the central government and not encourage them to seek jobs so that may become active members of society again.

Also, I wish to point out that the currently local communities have the responsibility for the education of their own people. Which might I point out have their quality of education monitored by the Imperial government to ensure that the students in all schools receive an education that is acceptable in many other first world countries. Furthermore, your idea of an integrated education will require things like busing and as such we cannot support such a measure as the imperial government will not force communities to accept persons from another.

To ask do you believe the Imperial government should force the majority to accept the demands made by a group which does have the support of the majority?”

To answer your self queried question the Norse First Party was founded by an Imperial family member so it never had to go through any real government review.

Also, to point out, only full citizens are subject to be drafted into the Imperial Army, which is still mandatory, and as such those with auxilary citizenship have protections that are extended to them which are not extended, at the same time, to full citizens of the Empire.

To query I wish to know will you stay loyal to your oath to the Emperor, and Empire, and not perform any lactions that might undermine the strength of the Empire?

As well, what will you do if the Empire does not enact, any time soon, laws that help to furhter your group's objective of greater intergration?"

SCLC Headquarters- 2:36 PM,

With rolling thunder, Dr. King’s convoy rolled into the “Arab ghetto”, what one saw first, was about twenty to thirty motorcycles, and not those small Japanese motorcycles. No, these were the manly Harley-Davidsons, and the men, burly men wearing leather chaps and thick handlebar moustaches . These men, in their late ‘50s to their mid ‘60s, they looked like Vietnam veterans, which could be possible, there was a sizeable American community in Brittonia. Heck, Epsom had its own Little America. The men were volunteers that flew in from Brittonia, although they did not want to fight anybody, they did have a look, not menacing… just a tough guy look.

After the motorcycles passed, several Cadillac Escalades were behind, in a pattern that was black, black, white, black, black, and in the white one was the one carrying Dr. King himself. Just to make the point, to show an appearance, speakers were mounted around all the Escalades, and the AC/DC song Back in Black played, just to give the bad ass feel to it. Through the sunroof, Dr. King stood up and waved to the crowd.

The vehicles stopped. The Doctor left. When he got out, the speakers, near the podium and in the cars, began to play the Gloria Gaynor song I Will Survive. Dr. King waved to the cops, smiled at the journalists, and walked onto the steps to the podium. He stood there for three seconds without saying a word, the journalists, whether it be the state-sponsored Scandinavian journalists, the foreign journalists, and the SCLC’s own press staff. He sighed, and the news people’s flashbulbs burst in order to take this opportunity to show Dr. King.

The Doctor smiled, and then said,
“Thank you, thank you all. There have been tough times recently, those who do not share in the views of the SCLC did not just attack us with words… but with bombs. Now, this will not be a long condemnation, and, although people died, we cannot increase the tensions by condemning and spewing hateful words at the others. We need to rebuild, we need to recover, we need hope.

First, the SCLC has problems with its message. We do not want to change laws, we do not seek an immediate end to the segregation in Scandinavia, we want to see these immigrants getting a better standard of living than before. That’s what we work for. Yes, I want to see an end to the segregation… but I will not act on that by pressuring the integration. Which would in turn injure many pro-Civil Rights people, or even kill some of the members if the two seperate camps meet in any minor clash of fists. Furthermore, thousands more people were showing up at pro-Conservative rallies across the city of Valdra.

At the same time the pro-Conservative rally began to form at the same of the rally and began to spread the message that the ideals being proposed were little more then foreign ideads of communism and socailism being proposed by the leaders of the opposing rally. As well, the speakers at the Conservative rally began to point out that many of the key note speakers of the opposition were foreigners and as such could never truly understand the culture and history of the Scandinvan Empire.

The bullets flying would later be identified as 7.62x51mm Full Metal Jacket, fired from an AK-74, however at this moment all they saw was the streaks in the air made by glass particles stuck in the air displacement of the bullets, giving them a light tracer effect for the first foot or two. After about 8 shots the windshield collapsed in on itself. Leaving the European decent man inside visible.

"Fuck the commies!" he yelled, his next move would be towards the driver seat, assuming the police didn't gun him down.

At the same time the riot police began to move in between the two opposing factions so as to prevent any riot from emerging as a result of the attack. Furthermore, police armed with assualt rifles began to surrond the entire crowd in the hopes of making a simply show of force large enough to prevent any further attacks from happening. Added to this snipers were deployed on a number of nearby roof tops.

The driver ducked down on the concrete just as the van began exploding under a grenade barrage, at least in Mokastana they would tear gas it fist. No doubt no one survived that explosion, and of course that would mean a lot of the supplies in the van would be gone. Hell he had his new laptop in that van before they got jacked. The police rushed in with lethal weapons rather quickly. He decided his best option would be to remain laying on the concrete until something happened.

OOC: Scand... that is the most unrealistic thing that I have ever seen... a police officer getting a grenade launcher... I'm not debating this with you, I'm more mature than that, but that is just soooo unrealistic.

The fact of the matter was that this shooting was not exactly, the best. One would consider the tactic "pray and spray", where, out of the 8 shots, the building's wall was the only thing hit. In fact, it would have been impossible, due to the rally's positioning and the seating, that the only part of exposed wall would have been far away from the speaker's podium.

The press, unfortunately were in that front row, and, as the Doctor was in the middle of the stage, was not hit, however his aides and the press were the ones hit, with the Scandinavian local news, Mokastanan, New Brittonian, British, American, and other international broadcasters.

While, a large part of the police force was attempting to subdue the crowd another group of police, the ones who had begun to surrond the vechile began to attempt to round up all those still relatively close to the attack in order to gain a better understanding of what was going before the attack, so that they might figure out what might have encouraged the attack.

Seeing a man lying down on the pavement near the ruined van two police, with pistols drawn, began to step towards him. One of the police officers then said," Hands behind your head. NOW!"

OOC: Scand... that is the most unrealistic thing that I have ever seen... a police officer getting a grenade launcher... I'm not debating this with you, I'm more mature than that, but that is just soooo unrealistic.

The fact of the matter was that this shooting was not exactly, the best. One would consider the tactic "pray and spray", where, out of the 8 shots, the building's wall was the only thing hit. In fact, it would have been impossible, due to the rally's positioning and the seating, that the only part of exposed wall would have been far away from the speaker's podium.

The press, unfortunately were in that front row, and, as the Doctor was in the middle of the stage, was not hit, however his aides and the press were the ones hit, with the Scandinavian local news, Mokastanan, New Brittonian, British, American, and other international broadcasters.

Today we have footage from Scandinavia of a terrorist attack at a Civil Rights rally:

(footage begins to play of the van storming the crowd, machine gun fire and grenades exploding)

As you can see a terrorist attacked the Rally and many eyewitnesses say that the terrorist was trying to kill Dr. Kingm judging by the direction of the fire. One student from The Organization of Students for a Better Tommorow, aka OSBT, said this:

"This is proof that Scandinavia will do everything it can to prevent minorities the rights they want, they are hypocritical bastards who must be stopped. We will stand by our brothers to the end, LONG LIVE CIVIL LIBERTIES!"

Authorities have not released any info on the attack, especially since the official story is that the CROWD got out of hand and police politely ended the rally...

“Earlier today their was a terrorist attack, a shooting with an assault weapon, made by a left wing, most likely communist, terrorist organization which various Imperial specialists believe was an attempt by the organization to start a large scale fight between the two different rallies, one being conservative and the other being liberal in nature, in the city of Valdra. Yet, due to the brave efforts of the police present at the scene the incident was quickly contained and there were relatively few deaths and a good more injuries, though it is important to note it is currently unknown how many were a result of the mayhem that immediately followed the attacks.

On a related note MNN News is facing possible fines as a result of the fact that they illegally leaked information that is believed to be false by Imperial experts, more so it is expected that those interviewed where radical members of left wing groups who are attempting to spread propaganda and as such it is advised that all members of the Scandinvan Empire ignore all future MNN news broadcasts be ignored till further notice.

Interrogation Truck

The driver of the van, which carried the man who committed the attack, was brought into the van, after having been covertly turned over to members of the Imperial Hands (men who only had to answer to the Emperor and as such were above all normal civil law). The driver was thrown into a cold metal chair, in the dim back room of the truck, and was locked into the chair with solid leather straps. Looking down upon the driver a tall man was wearing a silver which had one way glass fixtures for the eyes, a number of holes for the mouth, and two slits for the nose. The man then said to the Driver,” You are now legally dead which means, simply put, that we theoretically can do anything we want to you, be it torture or to flat eliminate your vile presence from our glorious Empire. However, before we dispose of you we desire to extract some information from you. Yet, as we do not want to needlessly waste our time on you we will ask flat out and if you give us a false answer we will be forced to use force to get the answer out of your traitorous mouth, though to note before you consider covering up your trail we have hooked you up to a modern lie detector and any lies you spill will result in pain for you. Pulling out a small controller the man gently held his finger over the bottom which connected to a small scale generator on the back of the chair. Chad Felt the car move and sat quietly to himself, hoping this would be over soon

After driving for a bit the truck came to a stop inside the interior of a fairly large enclosed building that was used by the Hands in the transfer of prisoners. The Hand got up again and walked towards Chad with a large black cloth, which he wrapped around Chad's eyes. He stopped for a second to have a brief discussion, in a coded language, with someone over his ear piece phone that was concealed by the mask the Hand wore.

Chad did not resist at all, he was still afraid, but believed that they would let him free. A thought walked up from behind him, what if they shoot you here? Ohh god what would happen? No they wouldn't, would they? he sweat lightly as the internal debate went off in his head. Either way he knew that he was theirs to do whatever with, he could make a run for it, and get shot, or wait and might get shot.

After the car came to a full stop inside the building complex two other Imperial Hands came inside the vechile. Without a single sound, aside from their breathing and foot steps, the two Hands grabbed Chad's arms and dragged him the outside of the vechile. After dragging for two minutes the Hands brought the man into a building and the Hands then through him into a chair inside the room. From there the Hands left him alone and there was no other noises save those from Chad.

Now chad sat quietly in the chair, looking around at nothing but the blackness around his face.

How could they though, what had he done but drive a van and hand out some leaflets. Nothing criminal about trying to get your family citizenship, was there?

For your weakness you must be punished accordingly and we, as the guardians of the Empire we must prevent your weakness from being inherited in future generations.

Therefore we, as the Hands of the Emperor, have decided that you must be castrated and that you should spend the rest of your days attempting to repay the Empire for the great cost of your weakness. You shall spend the rest of your natural life laboring in the underground prison mines of the frozen parts of the Empire, where you shall never see the light of day again, never again breathe open air, and where none shall know where you are as all whom you know shall believe you dead.

Probably not the best choice of words, but at this point what was there to lose. He tried to fight the restraints and buckled around, screaming that they will have to kill him before they take his balls. Trying to tear out of the the restraints he fought hard against the enemy of ropes and binds, losing, but fighting.....

Victoria was probably the most outspoken of the group yelling to the others about the problems caused by the government here and the distrust of its own people. Charles nodded his approval, he was stirring up the radicals in the group. The crowd around them in the office was both mornful of the loss of Chad, and the hatred for the government.

As the students worked up new ideas of how to combat the "Despots" and get rid of the apathy within the nation Charles took a few students upstairs to come up with a more, direct, plan. Over a bottle of Wiskey Charles began talking with the few men about his new ideas for the revolution.

"We need to remind these people what it is like to be oppressed. We have to make them afraid."

"its simple, we strike back, its obvious that the government will kill us and wipe us from the records, and not do shit when terrorist attack our friends, Dr. King tried to take the peaceful route and look what happened to him, gunned down by some maniac who was "killed at the scene," so they kidnapped our people and killed them off. Operation Torch, as it was called, was Mokastana's first ever black operation to be done on allied soil. While Mokastana was, on paper, a member of the Scandinvan Confederacy, tensions were rising mainly due to the lack of civil rights in such a close ally. This has causes some controversy and even the occasional public outcry to exit the Confederacy. However, Director Steven Fransisco was counting on this alliance to keep his operation afloat.

By arming the more, rebellious, people of Scandinva, with intelligence and weapons, it would cause enough instability in nation to cause some sort of change in policy. Either by forcing a split between Mokan/Scandinvan relations, or forcing the Hispanic nation to send in peacekeepers into minority neighborhoods.

The first goal of the operation was to determine the weapons that the local Police forces used, then military, the best option was to use only weapons that could of possibly stolen from the enemy, or floated across borders. For this job no Mokan manufactured weapons would be used. From there it would be simple to turn the civil rights movement into a full blown rebellion, resulting in the deaths of thousands, hopefully.

The next objective would be to find ways to smuggle weapons into the nation. To arm the poor populace and minorities. Of course the minorities wouldn't fight unless they felt they had no choice, so some form of terrorism would have to be started. Preferably against minorities, with retaliation against government agencies.

From there it was a simple tear down in social order.

A Hand came up from behind Chad and pricked into the back of his neck with a sharp needle full of liquid, which was designed to simply eliminate all control of his body below a certain point, will keeping Chad awake, albeit without any feeling the area below his neck.

OOC: Standard weapons are M-16 (Heavy Assault forces for Police and Standard Military Rifle), 9mm (Police), .45 Colt Type (Police), and Grenade Launcher (both Military and Police, though strictly regulated so any missing would be missed).

I need to know neighboring nations, open border policies, and hopefully have a map to RP the smuggling, as well as find symbols of the empires strength that are very public and wouldn't mind being targeted by leftist extremist.

OOC: I am sad to state that I cannot access my nation's on the NS wiki, and as such I am quite tied when it comes to the more exact details of my nation. Yet, I can simply tell that my nation occupies a vast continent by itself without any other nations on it, it has colonies around Terra and through various Terras, immigration is strictly regulated to a number of countries, while it is possible for small craft to smuggle illegal supplies in it is much harder for merchant vessels to bring large supplies of potentially dangerous goods into my nation, and it is key to note my nation’s military is excessively massive for a time of relative peace. As for symbols most of my nation’s national symbols are associated with the Emperor and the Imperial regime, so there is a general lack of symbols of freedom or equality.

OOC: So is it ok for me to attack a generic statue or the emperor or something, just make one up, or better yet, do you have a famous one that could be attacked?

MNS Cheeseburger, De-weaponized Assurance Class Freighter


The large freighter continued on with its supplies of Montana products. Everything from chemicals for pharmaceuticals to a few grains for authentic Mokan foods in the few Hispanic restaurants in nation. However also on board was a small craft, no different looking then the other life rafts, but this one had a few dufflebags inside it. Inside were rifles, money, and even some minor explosives. Under the cover of night, this craft was lowered into the water then left behind as the freighter continued on. The little life raft like device continued onwards towards the shore, where a few "contacts" waited.

Chad was fading in and out, where was he? Who was he? what was going on here?

Victoria sat waiting inside the office to speak with the Dean of the school, hopefully she could convince him to allow a peaceful OSBT rally on campus to focus on the disappearance of Chad Douglas, a fellow student who went into police custody and never came back. OOC: Well it would be far more advisable to target statues of the Emperor Olaf IV, of which one exists (eighty feet tall one) just outside of the one kilometer security zone which exists around the House of Lords/Parliament Buildings. Victoria went through the metal detectors with relative ease, after all the security put up on campus it was highly recommend by everyone not to carry metal objects or anything dangerous. It was dangerous enough being associated with OSBT. As she walked in confident she was sure that this was going to end badly, but she was ready to try. Time to be tactful.

"Hello, I am Victoria Hernandez, international student from Mokastana, I am here on behalf of The Organization of Students for a Better Tomorrow. We would like to host a rally this week to mourn the loss of one of our comrades. Would there be any problems with this?"


Unknown Shore

On the shore rested two cars and a truck to pick up the goods. The small boat rowed inland rather then use a motor in case some one was around and or listening. It brushed against the beach as the three men pulled it up on shore to keep the boat from floating away. Inside the boat two more men, both wearing dark life jackets started throwing the bags on to the shore and jumped out to hold the boat.

The lead man opened up the first bag, M-16s, 9mm pistols, and pre-made home made explosives.

"This one goes to the safehouse."

The next bag held M-16s, loads of bullets and one pistol.

"This one to the dump."

The next was a few M-16s, some homemade explosives and 5 kilos of cocaine.

"Take this to the University."

The last bags were just more rifles and bullets. These were loaded in the back of the truck, and covered with camping gear then the vehicles left quickly in different directions.

OOC: By the way you have to remember there are many people who are loyal to the Empire above all else, and are willing to betray your movement if they feel that the actions of the group threaten the long term welfare of the Empire. Yes Angle Dust is illegal, though for users there is no really dire prision sentence, no more then six months for repeat ofenders. Though drug dealers, and the smugglers are punished just a little more.

The Dean, an elderly nobleman who is these later days of his life ws only called Dean or sir. Looking up from the mounds upon mounds of paperwork the man gazed through quite a small hole in the mounds to see Victoria's face and he quickly answered her question," You really think that I am willingly to risk the wrath of the Emperor himself so that you can hold a glorified rally?

Well, I shall not tolerate any such rally here. And further you should know that it is unoffical policy of the school to avoid political infighting here on campus."

OOC: I am aware of your people's fanatical loyalities, but I am sure there are those members who believe that it is in the best interest of the Empire to allow equality. Also I like watching characters suffer the internal conflicts of loyalty, fighting over which is the greater good, to Empire, or to equality. Hell I hope for some betrayals on both side. That is what makes covert op RPs so great, you never know who is really loyal.

As for the Coke, I was going to use it to blackmail someone and make them look like a dealer. Preferably an "enemy to the revolution." It will be decided later.

Victoria caught herself before blurting out something horrific, Charles sent her to help her work on being tactful, and this situation called for only the most tactful responses.

Outside the building Charles was waiting to call Victoria, he knew she would probably not like the options given to her, and might get chaotic, hopefully this way they could say they tried to get the university to recognize them, but were turned down, making this rally about the loss of a comrade, and the abuse by the university and the "system" for freethinkers. Those who believed that the "Empire" needed to treat all citizens equally. So far he had gotten the promisary note in the mail from the Government of Mokastana, 10,000 Gold Labors, or roughly 8,924 Darvians, according to the current exchange rates. Of course his other contacts had assured him nearly 5 million Gold labors, off the records, for his "other" project. Now all he had to do was sniff out a military/police contact who he could convince it was in the good of the empire to allow the minorities to get some weapons....

Even if it was just so the empire could crush them.

"300 Darvians for a three hundred person conference room. I assure you that you will be unable to find a better price on campus for a room of comparable size."

"Very well, thank you Sir, i will relay the information to our Chair and he will come back with an answer and payment."

Victoria stood up to shake the mans hand and leave the office. As she left she still wore the smile and walked proudly out. As she left the building she wasn't furious, but wasn't mad either. It seemed fair if not overpriced. When she found Charlie she gave him the news about how much the dean wanted.

"Don't worry about it, your government will pay for it. they gave us 10,000 labors for our cause."

The next day a letter was sent to the Dean telling him that the OSBT was grateful for his offer and that it will accept. Included in the note was the 300 Darvians in check form made out to the University.

IC: The Dean sent a reply letter to the OBST leadership that their would be four security guards present in order to protect the assembly of people in the run, but to also call the office of the Dean directly if there were any problems with anybody, even the guards.

OOC: not to say this RP isnt important, but classes are bogging me down and therefore I am only responding to smaller RPs for the moment, given that the next post would no doubt be something about the memorial service/attack on an Emperor statue...etc...

Memorial Service for The Organization of Students for A Better Tommorow

sponsored by The People's Republic of Mokastana

Inside the large hall was filled with the members of OSBT, in the front stood their council members, head of OSBT, Charles Sinclair, the Native Scandinvan who founded this organization last year with Paco Mendez, a Senior and Vice President of OSBT.

In the center of the stage was a reef with a picture of Chad inside of it, underneath it said, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me."

As the crowd grew silent waiting for something to occur Charles got up from his seat and approached a podium placed next to the reef for the speeches and debates to come out from tonight. Placing his hands on the sides of the podium he gripped tightly and leaned froward into the crowd. Appearing much older and wiser then the student body in front of him.

"My Students, today we come together to remember a dear friend of ours. A man who found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, a man who in any other situation would of been fine as long as the world appreciated those who thought differently. He gave his life in the name of freedom and equality, suffering a fate we do not know, nor could we imagine.

Ladies and gentlemen. Let us focus on the man that was, Chad Dominic....."

8:05 PM, Downtown

At the intersection in front of the van stood a statue of the tyrant these men had sworn their lives to. Emperor Ingolf III on the other hand, sat in his fancy building watching and waiting for the public to fix its own issues, waiting for his people to settle down and stop complaining about "civil rights." He blamed the culture, the "unspoken rules", the government, saying it was his duty to force freedom and equality onto his subjects.

He needed to grow a pair of balls, the driver thought to himself.

The statue would be rigged with explosives once the police patrol passed, somehow the group had gotten their hands on the police records, giving vague patrol routes and ideas of what those cops would be packing. It was not raw intelligence, someone had been watching police patrols for some time now, unknown to them it was MBSA Satellite 3281-A, tracking police movements in Valdra for some time now. While a few ground assets in hotel rooms managed to peer in to some cop cars and get an idea of what they would have at hand. However it didn't allow them to see what they might have in the trunks, but hopefully it never got that far.

8:07 PM OSBT Memorial Service

"Chad was on track for things far beyond most of us. Some of his Physics theories were ground breaking, he even told me of governments trying to recruit him for his work with Particle Physics.

However Chad stood for something greater then science or money, and that is equality. That fateful day, a man forced Chad at gunpoint, to drive towards the rallies, and help him kill Dr. King. At the last minute Chad dove from the car warning civilians that the man was armed and dove for cover. The police neutralized the shooter by means of high explosives, injuring even more people around with shrapnel and debris, then threw Chad in the back of one of their vans and erased all records of him.

How can we hope to win against these odds, both the racist and the governments are against us. I will tell you how, don't let them control us, they may have erased Chad from the books and computers, but not from our minds! keep the memory of him alive, don't let him disappear into the abyss of the oppressive regime. We will remember him as we fight for a better tommorow!!"

8:10 PM Intersection

The patrol had passed and they counted to sixty. Then the three men walked out of the van and quickly walked towards the statue, the men were dressed as construction workers. However on close inspection the clothes would be revealed as custom made for this job, for the details were wrong here and there, but for the untrained eye, no one would look twice. Carrying a duffel bag they made it to the statue and began pulling out drills and boring into the foundation of the statue as the third man made a border of caution tape around it, making it look like construction was being on the statue to fix something.

In trail runs they drilled and filled in four minutes. the clock was ticking.

8:13 PM, OSBT Memorial

In the crowed sat two Mokan Officials, one was a lawyer who studied Scandivan law years ago at this school and now was working with OSBT to secure a better legal stance with the local governments. The other was a man from the Embassy, his job was to go out and find the ethnic governments and get Mokastana on their good side, but his first stop was this memorial. His name was, Zachary Cruz.

8:14 PM

Once the drilling was finished, a one inch diameter cylinder two feet deep they pulled out industrial size caulk guns, and filled them with a fertilizer based explosive. Next they were suppose to wire the four holes together and leave the timer as they left. If anything went wrong the emergency plan B was to pull out the C4, quickly strap it to the back of the statue and hit the timer button pre-programmed for 10 seconds.

The third man pretended to work on paperwork while keeping a lookout.


OOC: feel free to interrupt either of these at any time, or just let it go, but i figured you would want to either harass the memorial or catch the terrorist, though i am hoping for the job(at least this one) to go off without a hitch
