The Military recently captured a large number of FN FAL's during the local conflicts, and since we currently don't field those rifles, we are willing to sell them off at a very low price.

We have previously made only a single purchase on the international market. Though we are not a very aggresive nation the Speakers of Sarrowquand have become disatisfied with the level of protection provided by our current forces. The last few years of our military budget have focused on building up a reserve of capital for maintaining our military during a reft: thus there is the potential to completely overhaul almost all of our military structure.

Current population is at 4.097 billion
Our NStracker military budget is listed as I$1,567,737,123,398.99

We have in the past maintained 3,500,000 regular forces in our army as a defensive measure, we have considered these forces as reservists and not suitable for international deployment. they have recieved 20% funding.

We have been investing the 30% of our military funding into the Yellow Jacket Command corp which consists of 500,000 soldiers who are well trained and represent our guardian paradigm.

Our Navy has recieved 20% funding and has largely been given coast guard duties.

Our air force has recieved 20% funding.


We welcome quotes for equipment within any of these fields and suggested numbers and bulk buy offers are also welcome.

You're probably right there and I'll probably narrow things down later on today but for now I'm interested in a wide range of products and probably replacing as much of my home grown equipment as I can.

ooc: Ok. Going to have to go and sleep for a bit. I shall return in twelve hours to look over the thread and generate a shopping list and put in some orders. I'm quite pleased with the immediate response as there are some interesting ads, styles and products.

Hopefully there will be even more to choose from and some recomendations and such. If your a satisfied consumer then it would be interesting to here from you. Any posts and adds will after all be fresh in my mind when I look at this thread later.

Based on a demand for numbers I have been working on what I'll need. So far I have these numbers and catergories for my regular army's infantrry weapon needs.

Etoile Arcture is the favourite for the PDW contract
Yanitaria (RY2) and Etoile Arcture (G100) are both being considered for the Bolt rifle.

The total cost of the rifles will be 4 billion[$800 per rifle]. How would you like the delivery plan?

for batch delivery, we can put out a total of 400,000 rifles a month.

for a complete delivery, it would take 6-8 months to complete all 5 million rifles.

hmmm, I was going to wait a day or so for a final market review before confirming the assault rifle contract but outside forces are shifting.

We will formally accept your offer.
We agree that the price is set at 4 billion USD. We would like batch delivery at 400,000 rifles a month and you may take full payment now if you are willing to accept responsibility for the rifles arriving safely (if the Dominion is engaged in a major local conflict which endangers your shipments within the 12.5 month period then we will pay a $100,000 bonus per endangered shipment).

Assuming this is acceptable then I formally award you the contract.

We thank the government of Sarrowquand for considering Seqioua Defence Systems for their small arms needs.

The VP90 Velociraptor is currently under development and has a projected unit cost between US$800-900 depending on the model chosen (9 mm Para or the more expensive 6.5 mm CBJ). The latter offers superior terminal ballsitics and defeat of targets wearing body armour and has been selected as the self-protection weapon of tank, vehicle and air crews in the Etoile Arcture Defence Forces. SDS would be honoured to have the Dominion of Sarrowquand to be the launch customer for this new weapon system.

The G100 rifle was designed with mass production in mind and was produced in its millions for use by the Defence Forces of Etoile Arcture. In 2007 the G100 chambered in 5.56 mm NATO was retired and replaced by the G500 series chambered in 6.5 MPC/6.8 SPC, and currently millions of surplus rifles are being held in storage by reserve units of the Defence Forces. SDS proposes to refurbish these weapons with new plastic furniture and Pictanny rail systems at a unit cost of only US$380 per rifle or US$400 per heavy barrel rifle. We are confident sufficient qualtities exist to fulfill the total requirement of the Sarrowquand military at a lower cprice including the cost of repair parts and tooling.

SDS also offer a full range of small arms, including combat pistols, shotguns, sniper rifles and crew served weapons, armoured fighting vehicles, armoured personnel carriers and engineering and support vehicles. Just DON'T buy the crap from DMG. That is ignored automatically in any serious RP. Never buy anything there. As far as Doomingsland, some of his designs are OK, some are not, but remember you'd be buying slave-made things from a slaver nation, losing some political points.


Kriegzimmer (Mac's) is indeed a good one, so is System Terrestres Segovia, and so is Nineveh International (Sumer's).

We thank you for your recomendations and will consider your words. However I'm not sure exactly what counts as a serious RP but DMG's courting royalty rp seems to be reasonably thought out; of course it hasn't involved weapons. As far as a slaver state goes, well we don't like the idea of trading slaves or seeing our own people enslaved but we also don't like the idea of seeing millions killed by weapons of war. We are buying objects designed to kill people, violently and seeking to deprive someone of their life seems worse then depriving them of their freedom.

Of course this is an argument for another thread. Although a small amount of back and forth is ok for defending or attacking other designs this thread is more for advertising contracts for the Dominion's arms needs.

Etoile Arcture
We are very pleased to here that you already have the stock available for the rifle order. As far as I'm concerned that merits a purchase for this particular catergory. I'm not sure whether to go for the heavy barrel option or not; the rifles are intended for use by regular and reserve forces.

As for the raptors, although still under devlopment they do look very good. We will take the 6.5 mm CBJ at (was it) $900 dollars a piece?

With this orrder the VP90 has entered full-rate serial production at our factories in New Harrisberg. Two million units, chambered in the 6.5 mm CBJ cartridge, will be supplied over the next 3 NS months at a total purchase cost of 1.8 billion Universal Standard Dollars (US$1.8Bn). Sequoia Weaponworks will also supply seven million G100 Assault Rifles chambered in the 5.56 mm NATO cartridge refurbished from reserve stocks for immediately delivery.

Below you will find enclosed the purchase contract for these items. Upon signing this contract (OOC: in separate post) and reciept of payment Sequioa Weaponworks will deliver the ordered items in the period specificed.

Purchase Agreement between Sequoia Weaponworks LLC and the Dominion of Sarrowquand.

This Purchase Agreement is made this 25th day of May, 2008 between:

Sequoia Weaponworks LLC, a joint stock company organized and existing under the laws of Etoile Arcture, and;

The government of the Dominion of Sarrowquand,

Relating to the VP90 “Velociraptor” Personal Defence Weapon and the G100 Assault Rifle.

Article I: Intent

Sequoia Weaponworks agrees to sell the Dominion of Sarrowquand, and the Dominion of Sarrowquand agrees to buy from Sequoia Weaponworks, the Purchased Items, in accordance with the provisions of this Contract.

Article II: Agreement to Purchase

The Dominion of Sarrowquand agrees (i) to purchase from Sequoia Weaponworks no less than two million (2,000,000) VP90 “Velociraptor” Personal Defence Weapons chambered in the 6.5 mm CBJ cartridge, and (ii) to purchase from Sequoia Weaponworks no less than seven million (7,000,000) fully refurbished G100 Assault Rifles chambered in the 5.56 mm NATO cartridge.

Article III Purchase price and payment terms

The Dominion of Sarrowquand agrees to pay Sequoia Weaponworks, in Universal Standard Dollars (US$), the following:

The prices specified shall be paid by the Dominion of Sarrowquand by wire transfer in immediately available Universal Standard Dollars (US$) funds to the Bank of Etoile Arcture.

Article IV: Notification and Termination

This Agreement may be terminated by Sequoia Weaponworks prior to the Delivery Time:

a. Upon the failure of the Dominion of Sarrowquand to make payments as specified.

b. Upon any resale of the products to a third party in a commercial transaction.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have caused this Agreement to be duly executed and delivered by their proper and duly authorized officers and to be effective as of the day and year first above written.
