Wales and the March
15-05-2008, 19:54
Following the death of Emperor Owain V, the long-closed borders of Wales and the March have finally been opened up under the new Emperor, Llywelyn IV.
In the spirit of international co-operation and friendship, the Right and Elected Government of Wales and the March have set aside land in the capital city of Caerfrenin for the purpose of foreign Embassies. Property will be available on Heol Owain Glyndŵr (numbers 53-297, odd numbers only) and Heol Ceredigion (numbers 2-100, even numbers only). Both streets lead off the main city square, Independence Square, bounded on its northern edge by the Imperial Palace of Wales and the March. The Palace contains the State Rooms, Congress, the Chancery, Supreme Court and the Emperor’s apartments, as well as the barracks of the Black Guard, the Emperor’s personal bodyguards.
As a pacifist nation, only limited security forces will be allowed – a maximum of 15 for every Embassy. Security of the Embassies will be the responsibility of the White Guard, the regiment based in the city. In general no weapons will be allowed other than those for ceremonial purposes, unless requested and granted by the Federal Government of Wales and the March.
The Government of Wales and the March encourages all nations of the World to open Embassies in this newly independent Realm.
