Solar Trees Powering Up ViZion's Streets
ViZion Moves Closer To Goal Set By President Kilo
Vitalita, ViZion —
Solar 'trees' have begun sprouting up across ViZionarian cities and towns, lighting up the streets and powering the stoplights. These new 'trees' include LED's, thus they are able to provide lighting, replacing the traditional street lights. In addition, they link upto nearby stoplights to power those by pure solarpower as well.
All this leads to a massive reduction of energy usage, and thus limiting impact on the environment.

Solar Trees Lighting Up a Street in Vitalita
Central "Power Hubs" - spread throughout cities and towns - do multiple things at once; they serve as neat architecture and a playground and garden; they have solar panels throughout the structure; and they store power. Thus, while the stoplights and solar trees can last six days without sun, these Power Hubs will add an additional weeks worth of power to their connected lights.
All this is helping to lead ViZion closer and closer to the ten year goal set by President Tanner Kilo: To run 99% on alternative forms of power and fuel (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=534048). The five year plan of 90% was reached, even though many said it could not be done, that it was to aggressive.
Now this is another step closer to becoming that much more eco-friendly.
