 I've been informed that I need to prove I can RP well in order to join Earth: SR. I don't know really how to prove myself, so if someone could tell me a way, it'd be much appreciated.

I've also been wondering if there is someone who can help me figure out what the necessities are for information on a country, such as general population, military size, political leader(s), generals of the military, and other stuff like that.

To prove yourself get involved in a more laid back RP, show you know the diference between IC and OC, don't use smileys or be like 'my 100 million men rawly bash your men and pown you, then murder whats left with ownage nukes! I WIN!!! IN YOUR FACE!!!!!!! :upyours: :upyours: ', that anoys people and generally be polite.

As for everything else, its your choice but keep it sensible.

Well, I don't usually RP giant nations but the basic rules of rping would be no godmoding, which makes you so powerful you destroy everything, nothing hurts you, you dodge everything, or have all these advanced technology to automatically destroy your opponent.

Also no power playing, which is controlling the other person's troops and such. You should always allow your opponent to react to an attack and allow them to do the damage calculations. Unless of course the attack is on something no one is controlling.

Though these are for role playing in general so I didn't include anything about weapons or army size.

power playing usually falls under the category of godmoding around here.

I'll do a diplomatic meeting roleplay with you if you want to prove yourself.

Let me know if you need any assistance. Also, I'd suggest taking a peak at the NatiorStates Trainers (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=545309) thread... good info there. Tips, list of people willing to help you, etc.

But ya, like others said, be "proving yourself", they mean they want to see how well you roleplay. I'd suggest the following to get started in "proving" yourself:

-Create an embassy exchange thread (there's many out there, take a look at a few different ones to get an idea and go from there with your own flair)
-Join or create a diplomatic meeting RP (work on creating allies, etc)
-Do NOT go and start or enter a big war right off the bat unless national suicide is your favorite passtime
-Join or create other non-war RPs (character roleplays generally speaking)
-Use PROPER grammer and spelling in "IC" (In Character) posts... aka when you're roleplaying. Oh, and smilies are not liked IC either.
-When you're talking OOC (Out of Charater) like what we're doing now, denote "OOC:" before you begin posting. Use that in the title of the thread you're creating too if its OOC like this one.
-ASK FOR HELP! I cant stress this enough... obviously you've asked for help here, but being new, if you have questions, ASK THEM! Many of us only want younger/newer players like you to improve to make this a better and more enjoyable game. As such, ask for help and we'd be up for helping. And dont be offended if someone laughs at your question - older players sometimes do that as they're so far removed from being a new player. Sometimes they need reminders that they likely had the same questions when they were as new as you are. (They can also be impatient - again, dont be offended...)

Anyway, thats a start, like I ask, ask me or anyone else for assistance if you want/need it. :) And good luck man!

Yeah, I wouldn't godmode or anything like that; that'd ruin it.

Sure Uiri, but I'm thinking of changing my country's name; its name is kind of strange and hard to even type right.

Thanks, ViZion! That helps alot :D.

I invite you to join my Savage Tiberius (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=543924&highlight=savage+tiberius) RP. You ought to get a taste of most of the political, economic, and military ends of the game in a Land-Grab RP. Just thought i'd offer. =]
