Colstream President calls for end to Colstream involvement in Conflicts abroad.

Today, President Jack Walker called for an end to the conflicts that the Republic Of Colstream is involved in due to the strain on the economy having to revert the economy to a war footing which has disrupted civilian production and created shortages. Colstream Military inolvement in the TAP conflict has ended sending 640,000 Military Personnel from the Colstream Army, Navy and Air Force home to their families. This has caused a relaxation of restrictions on certain goods and the Colstream Pound has gone up in the International Stock Market.

Colstream Military successfully test fires KS-2 Ballistic Missile at Jartrea Testing Facility

The Colstream Military earlier today successfully tested a KS-2 Ballistic Missile in the Jartea Testing Facility causing a large explosion causing temporary loss of power to nearby towns and blowing a huge crater in the 12 square mile facility. The Colstream Government has issued a statement saying that this is a one off test and will not disrupt the impending launch of the Republics first mobile missile platform.

Mobile Missile Platform launched in large ceremony

The first Colstream Mobile Missile Platform was successfully launched from Jackson Space Centre in a large ceremony. The platform is now orbiting in space preparing for its first test next week.


Republic Vote on isolation

A vote will be cast soon on whether the Republic Of Colstream takes a lesser role in world affairs. The current conflicts the Colstream Military funded has caused a large civilian protest as the Colstream Pound began to slowly decrease in value precipitating in shortage of certain goods. This has caused the Colstream Senate to push a poll on what the Colstream Population would want the Colstream Government to do. Voting starts on Friday 16th May.
