In the recent events that have taken place, the Pacific Isle Dictatorship of Miroxia has declared war of Fozcria because of his supposed "strength" and because of threats towards Japanda and Shazbotdom. The Allied Powers outnumber the Fozcrians by...alot.

Miroxian Admiral Carl Tent, who just withdrew from the Hurdurfistani Civil War is packing up again. This will be the 4th War Miroxia will have entered in the past month. This is the "Blood Age of Miroxia." The Dictatorship already suffered the loss of Toby Jones, a great general and now must destroy this last piece of crap standing in their way.

The fleet has set out as the 1st Regiment of Miroxia' army set out. Once they come home, Dictator Durant has promised them a 1-month break from duty.

The coordinates were set as the fleet took off from the port. They were heading for Fozcria. AirForce jets have also set out. Carl soon began to type the following letter:

The Allied States of Gun Manufacturers suggests that you stand down, or a larger nation will eventually turn you into plate glass. Currently, you have 18 million people in your region. Assuming your entire region gets on your side, and assuming you even have a ludicrous percentage (like 10%) of your populations in your militaries, that's still only 1.8 million soldiers (which would implode all of your economies). The ASoGM has 4% of its population in the military, which amounts to 19.824 million soldiers. Even taking into account a defender's advantage, you'd still not stand a chance, as a region, even against me by myself. Not that we would get involved right away, we have other, more profitable projects going on.

In other words, standing down would be in your best interest, before a nation more ruthless than mine takes notice of you.

Fozcria, dude. Just because you got that issue doesn't mean you automatically have Nukes. I got that issue my 5th day in the game but I didn't RP as having nuclear weapons till I was almost 7 months old. But, you would probably only be able to afford ONE nuke. While I have orbital weapons platforms that could easily turn your nation into Plate Glass.

Miroxian ships had been at see for about 3 days and now they had found the region, Interimo. Now they were to invade and kill anyone in sight in Militia-like uniform. The first country with a coast was Duckstralia, an ally with the Fozcrians. They were, as far as Miroxian troops knew, unguarded, so the Miroxian ships approached the coast, closely. The stopped roughly 1 kilometer before the coast.

Meanwhile, a jet was sailing over Fozcria's capital, carrying bombs with it. The pilot then clicked on his phone. "Dictator Durant, is Mission: Fozcrian Bombing a go?"

"Yes, it is a go."

"Roger," he said, pressing a red button. Soon 5 bombs dropped from the plane, awaiting to hit the city...

When we intervene, we will not hesistate in using unconventional warfare methods to acheive the goal of stopping your two factions from fighting. "Has the VCIU found out the exact strength of their armed forces" asked Vasili, slightly more interested. "Yes, we have found that neither country is a major threat to us, even if they united we would be able to defeat them easily" answered Alexei, smiling as he saw his commanders satisfied grin. "Well then, what are you waiting for, I want the closest fleet on route immediately" laughed Vasili as he thought of all the promotions he would receive from this.

"This is Admiral Van Kessler, I want a status report on all ships before we head out" boomed a voice over the intercom as Captain Vladimir Vachenski calculated the route to the rendezvous point. Instinctively, he grabbed the intercom and responded "This is Captain Vladimir Vachenski of the battleship Republic, all engines are at full power and we are directly behind you. As he looked up from his command console, Vladimir could truly see the beauty of the Southern Volzgradien coastline. As far as he could see, only the enchanting navy blue waters surrounded his boat. His own ship, the Republic, was one of the older Victory class battleships that were built after the civil war.

Despite the beauty and majesty of the sea and the ships. He knew that soon the ocean would run red with the blood of Volzgrad's foes.

While we acknowledge that an attempt at a treaty has been made by the nation of Fozcria, the "terms" for peace laid out by the nation of Fozcria are laughable at best. It isn't a stalemate when you're outnumbered by nations who are larger than you. Nor are we obligated to apologise for any actions as your nation is the main aggressor in this. You needlessly declared war on a nation who had done nothing to you. The allies and supporters of Miroxia and Japanada have no need to apologise for any so-called "abominations" of which you speak.

How can a treaty truly be a fair one if members of either side create said document? The only reasonable way to do such a thing would be to have a nuetral nation that has been observing this conflict create the treaty and host peace talks. Now the Imperial Republic of Greston fits that to a tee. If necessary peace talks will unfold in the Taeshaet capital city of Saxton and we can throw forth a peace agreement there or make one now. A draft treaty will be proposed now and if acceptable or needs amendments the nations can attend peace talks in Saxton.

Peace shall be laid forth by all sides and hostilities shall cease long enough for peace talks to occur or for Grestonian diplomats and politicians of the Allied nations to convince Fozcria into a peaceful state. This treaty is to stop Fozcrian warmongering and to stop or hold off their desimation by the forces from Miroxia, Shazbotdom, and others.

Article I

Warmongering made by Fozcria set forth this string of violence and wars and only they can pave way for peace into this conflict. They must make public apologies to the following nations for acts of war against them and threats made towards them: The Pacific Isle Dictatorship of Miroxia, The Empire of Shazbotdom, The Ancient People's Republic of Kryozerkia, The Confederacy of Kenavt, The Allied States of Gun Manufacturers, The Moraly Questionable Empire of Altairan, The Kingdom of Dashie, The Chuck Norris Nation of Max Beagle, and The Kingdom of Japanada.

Article II

Although Fozcrian stupidity started this war it was Miroxian stupidity that continued it. If it was not for Miroxian forces and allies of her going to war with Fozcria it would not have come thus far making both sides at fault. So on that note Miroxia and allies must make an apology to Fozcria for relighting the spark of war after the Japanada conflict silenced. Fozcria and Fozcria alone is the nation that must be apologized for the other nations of Interimo have spenthrift with their tongue.

Article III

Furthermore a fine of 30 million USDs shall be sent to every head of state that needed to take part in this conflict.

Article IV

The Pacific Islands Dictatorship of Miroxia was doing a good deed in going to war with The Confederacy of Fozcria but at many instances was she wrong. The bombing of the capital was unnecessary and killed many civilians and could have killed more. A small fine of 20 million USDs shall be handed to the Fozcrian treasury to repair their NationState which is now almost in ruins.

Article V

The threat of the launching of nuclear weapons was used too much by both sides and with the amount of threats being sent towards eachother of the mass number of nukes a nuclear holocaust could have occured and such actions should be taken care of. So on that note any and all Fozcrian Nuclear WMDs shall be handed over to another nuetral nation and destroyed. The Shazbotdom Empire shall apologize for going to the extent of almost wiping Fozcria off the map although they were completely in the wrong. The Rogue Nation of Bedouin Raiders shall back down and back off away from this conflict for the use of nuclear weapons made by them will result in an invasion of their homeland.

It seems that the upstart nation of Fozcria doesn't understand how to gracefully accept a peace accord and proceed ahead with the rest in negotiating peace. Their continual demands are asinine and do not reflect the true nature of what has happened. They have decided to shove their collective head twenty thousand leagues up their vast posterior and won't budge on the matter at hand.

For this reason, while we in spirit accept the proposed peace treaty, we will not back down now. If the nation of Fozcria was to reverse its decision, we would accept that as a sign that they are willing to negotiate instead of demand and give nothing in return. With the outrageous demands being made by the Fozcrian leadership, it is unlikely that the leadership and nation will get a good deal out of any future potential treaty.

IC means In-Character, basically serious stuff. No smilies, just lain story-like typing. That's it.

OOC is Out Of Character, means all the other crap you wanna post. There's a clear difference and breaching the line between them - and it's a thick line - is pretty much a crime.

RP is Roleplay, essentially it is the word for what happens in IC. On the international incidents page, there are some threads at the top with the prefix 'sticky'. Read them. They're massive, but at least read the essentials. For the basic starting point for someone like you, I'd check out the one marked 'A Compass to International Incidents', which is basically the contents page plus some advice.

For examples of good RP/IC, just look at some other threads. Macabee's threads are a case in point, and there are many other people, just I'm not good at remembering names.

Alfegos isn't half bad either, and I'm pretty sure Ryou Black Islands is good at it too.

OOC: What he said. Thanks for that Antigr (I'm rather flattered), but a note of caution is not to let him look at Ryou Black Islands. Hell, I really do not want another player to go down that path...

Anyhow, to Fozcria: NEVER use the smilies. They don't look nice and are often used by the forum players as an indicator for those who are newbies. So, just avoid. Also, when roleplaying in these forums, there are a few little things that you have to take into account:
- Godmoding:
a) Saying what other player's people are doing, without their permission. This is often a dodgy area, but my general rule is not to say what the other people are doing unless it either is so little that it ain't of concern, that it adds a lovely little bit to a piece of writing/storyline,, or that they've already said that's happened and that you can do what they said within a degree.
b) Saying your troops are invunerable/equipped unrealistically/are of an unrealistic number. For example, saying that you've got 5 billion soldiers, allarmed with nuclear handguns. Which, as you can guess, does not help.
c) Doing unrealistic things for the time period you are in. Hand-held railguns in the 21st century? Even as experimental items, they're a no-no.

Please try and keep your posts at a rating of about 12 (I think), though I honestly never see moderators checking it in this forum. Except with British Londinium and the giant blenders...
Anyway, back on track, no swearing words in OOC posts or insulting of other players. As part of the roleplay insulting their country, then yes, but if you do it as part of an OOC you'll find the moderators coming down on you in droves.

- Post Quality:
This can be summed up quite well in a list:
*Spelling please! Try using firefox if you really need a spellchecker, but at least stick to the basics of using capital letters for names and sentance starts, and use the correct punctuation. Apostrophes, ellipsis, colons, commas; you know what I'm talking about. And grammar as well.
*Amount! If you post 5 lines of rubbish, it ain't good. Try expanding it, making it part of a good story. Hell, I try, but often fail when very tired. Note that this may not apply in the Storefront or Dimplomatic threads, where RPing is not often very common to the extent in wars, but still exists.

Examples:
The 50 000 men and vehicles hit the shore, rolling upwards and crushing all resistance in their path, while taking casualties. Soon though, they were at the top of the shore, from whiere they began their secondary attack on the enemy.^AVOID

Captain Thomas sat inside the cupola of his M1A4 Toad Amphibious Command vehicle. Inside, an enhanced reality displayed the shoreline. And all the resistance on it: for whilst the artillery bombardment seemed to have taken out many of the bunkers from afar, at this distance it seemed as if nothing had been touched. The was a yell from below, the commander turning to see a missile streaking in from inland, obviously from some concealed trench. The vehicle deployed its countermeasure systems, an invisible electronic signal screeching out at all around. The missile missed: misguided by the electronic countermeasues, it arched away, to explode metres behind in the water. The water droplets from the blast column rained down on the inside of the vehicle. He looked back to his screen to see the beach coming into view. There was a bump as the vehicle hit sand underneath, followed by an increase in speed as it found traction. He waited. 3...2...1...
"Fire!"
Along the line, tanks began roaring as their cannons fired, sending a mix of shells inland. Explosions started along with the yelling: what looked like the entire beachfront had come alive. Men started popping up as the dust settled, opening fire with (OOC:continues, but you get the picture)

- Techwanking:
Often claimed by some to ruin an RP, this is where you spend all your time going on about how superior your equipment is to the enemy, and using that to ruin any chance of a storyline. A very grey area, be careful in it. For the most part, try avoiding excessive amounts of figures.

- Giving the other Player a chance:
Now whilst I know we all hate losing, we have to give the others a chance. Take casualties, but take them well. As I said in post quality, not a 5-line jobby, but with detail.
Alos, try not to post too much progress in a post: give the other players a chance to react to your actions.

Whoopdy do. We have 18,000,000 regular soldiers. We aren't scared. And yes we defy you because your nation is annoying and whimpy...and asking for a beating.

And whoever has the tradition of 30%, it is basically accpeted among the RPers I have met that you go with a max of three percent unless otherwise stated.

30% will put your economy in ruin. It will also mean that your men are ill trained and ill equiped, making it easier for people to roll across your entire nation within a matter of hours.

And massive numbers don't help.

If you want to compare army sizes peacefully, hold a military review and invite other nations to send display units. That'll give you plenty of IC chances to quote numbers.
