Yesterday a cargo ship carrying illegal migrants landed on our shores. The Armed Republic of Nunnen’s migration police were quick to react, and started the process of organizing the migrants, but then disaster struck.

It was discovered that a small child onboard the ship, was suffering the effects of small pox a deadly disease. The area surrounding Nunnen’s famous port of St.Dobson was closed as medical teams rushed to the scene, but the damage was done, the 200 migrant’s were already showing the signs on this disease, and even worst, the police force to were first at the scene have now been taken ill.

The reason I say this is that our country is small and it does not have the fallacies to cope with an epidemic, and I would like to remind the world that if this becomes a pandemic billions will die. So would please send aid relief and any other help!

Tel Arman offers the usage of it's military to stop this pandemic. If you accept our aid, we will exterminate those infected to prevent spreading of the smallpox.

In accordance with Kikoskriat law in the case of a epidemic level illness, we are closing all travel of persons, items or vehicles of any sort from the Armed Republic of Nunnen in order to protect our own people from infection for both the Metropolis of Kikoskriat and the Kikoskriat Holdings. While we have plenty of vaccines in case of an outbreak within our own borders, we believe that prevention is always better then cure. Naturally, any people attempting to ignore this quarentine on travel will be repelled at all costs to protect our own.

Smallpox is a virilant and durable virus that can spread incrediably quickly in very little time. While we will be able to manufacture surplus smallpox vaccine sufficient for you and we are already creating a shipment to assist in treating those infected, the time taken to do so will leave your nation crippled with the virus and potentially could destroy the majority of your people. We recommend that you impose a quarentine on the settlement in question that has the outbreak of smallpox on all organic and inorganic matter so that the virus cannot spread into your other cities and to other, uninfected people. That way, what stockpiles of vaccine you have can be used to better effect trying to deal with the problem at the source instead of being scattered around your nation and helping very little. Of course, if the virus absolutely cannot be contained...

We would like to have permission to send in one of our viral warfare detachments, troopers equipped and trained to deal with outbreaks of such viruses. They would do their best to keep the outbreak within that singular city, regardless of the cost; the price of a few lives is perfectly acceptable when the alternative is potentially a worldwide outbreak that could wipe out many other nations entirely, would you not agree?

If we cannot contain the virus in anyway, however, I believe the international community will have to take more... drastic measures.

We have to think of the whole picture here and while it would be terrible to have to sacrifice the lives of those that are within the city, they would probably die anyway of the smallpox virus and to be honest, not only would razing the city to contain the virus be a far better garuntee of destroying the virus, but it would be far more humane; a quick death instead of a slow, agonising one lacking in dignity.

Time is short and every second we spend considering the options could be a second less we have to stop a crisis that could effect every single human on the planet.

we can air drop the vaccine so you can give it to those who are not infected other wise There is no proven treatment for smallpox once you have it

The Republic of Zilam officially cannot send any soldiers to help contain the outbreak, however we have assembled our best disease specialists and are willing to freely give Nunnen several million Zilamian Shekels worth of vaccinations to try and prevent a larger outbreak. However, we cannot risk an infection of our own people, so we also regretfully have to limit almost all contact with Nunnen, until this situation is handled.

The Republic Of Colstream has decided to help your government by wiring 3 Million Colstream Pounds and also drop some medical supplies inlcuding what current stocks we have of the vaccine which is around 10,000 Tonnes of it. Our Scientists are making more vaccine to stockpile for later if you need it.

OOC: I want to put something in here about how some Nunnen refugees managed to sneak into Zilam, infecting part of our populace. Since I am very noobish at all the RPing type stuff, I need to know if i put it in here, or should I make a new thread, with it linking here?

Dear Health Department of the Government of Nunnen,

We will send you cows infected with cowpox to help those who have not yet been infected with the disease. Just one simple touch of the infected areas of the cow will make any person immune from smallpox. The bad thing is that in our country cowpox infected cows are rare because only about 1,000 cows in total are used to combat smallpox due to that all citizens who are over 5 years old must get cowpox before they reach the age of 13 so we do not have many as it's a very quick process. We can send 100 cows, just remember to touch the blisters otherwise it would be a wasted effort.
