Pyekan Government-in-Exile Found by Vientiane Gendarmerie

VIENTIANE, Indochina - Today, at approximately 8 post meridiem local time, several Gendarmerie Terrorist Squad agents uncovered the HQ of the Pyekan Government-in-Exile. It is unsure what their motives, beliefs, etc. are but they were suspected of being communist and thus had to be found and detained. It is still unsure what shall become of them as they may have been working to usurp the Republic of Indochina and use its people, land and governemnt in order to take the Pyekan Empire and thus rule what they consider to be rightfully belonging to them.

Indochina has a population of approximately 8.5 million ethnic Pyekan, a significant group of which are illegal immigrants. It is unsure the legal status of the Pyekan Government-in-Exile and if they fled over the Mekong river forming a large portion of the Pyeki-Indochina border. If they are illegal immigrants the most likely solution will be to throw them into the Mekong river at a point south, maybe south-west or south-east of Vientiane where the Mekong goes on to form the border before drifting away at approximately 15 degrees north of the equator.

If any of the illegal immigrants - if any are found - attempt to come back into Indochina they will most likely be killed by a Gendarmerie Border Patrol gendarme's TT pistol of AK-47. It is unsure if they would be allowed back in Pyeki although whether or not they will be is of no concern to the Indochinese government. If they were truly refugees they should be legal immigrants.

We are still awaiting news of whether the Government-in-Exile is composed of any illegal immigrants.

OOC: uh, no. This is either going to result in the hand over of the Government-in-Exile a Pyeki-Indochinese war or the murder of these Pyeki in the case of a communist Government-in-Exile. This is relating to Earth: Second Ressurection. Pyeki gave me permission to host his Government-in-Exile and ICly he lays claim to my territory so my IC government is afriad they may be trying to have Pyeki annex Indochina.

SAIGON, Indochina - Today, at approximately 6 post meridiem local time, Président Dong Nguyen and PM Hun Sen had a joint press conference. Both are members of the Parti Républicain which also has a majourity in the Congrés - 53 seats. The Parti Populaire has 25 and the Parti Vert has the remaining 21. Both leaders have stated that they see the formation of the League of Venice as a threat to the rest of the world as they will attempt to restore their former imperial glory in Africa and even possibly in Asia. With the Pyeki Empire and Mongolian Empire surrounding Indochina the capture of even one of these states could lead to the colonization of the Republic.

This has led the Parti Républicain to try and find a solution to defending against any possible European movements. Rumours have spread that the Pyeki are constructing a battleship. It is estimated by Indochinese observers that this battleship will take three years to complete and that a simple bombing raid or a nuclear weapon sent by one of the nuclear powers could hinder progress indefinetly. This makes the Président, PM and the whole Congrés nervous because this heightens the chances of an invasion of Pyeki.

XAIGNABOULI CITY, Indochina - A car bomb exploded just outside of Xaignabouli City today. Xaignabouli City is the perfecture of the department of Xaignabouli which comprises the only territory in Indochina which is west of the Mekong river and north of the 16th parallel which is near where the Mekong stops forming the border between Indochina and Pyeki. It is believed by the Gendarmerie Terrorist Squad to be the work of Pyeki supporters of either Pyeki Imperial rule over the department and/or all of indochina or the work of agents and/or supporters of the Pyeki Government-in-Exile.

Th bomb must have been detonated by remote control or some other means becuase witnesses saw the car driving along just fine until the bomb detonated. 1 or 2 were killed and 10 were injured by falling glass. One by-stander got a piece of sharpnel or glass - medics aren't sure as of yet - in their leg and this individual may need to have the extremity amputated. Another suspect could be communists although this seems unlikely due to the placing and nature of the blast.

In a related story, things in the Nicobar islands are heating up. After an attack on a Pyekan vessel by two 'large speedboats' and 'pirates using rocket-propelled grenades', Pyeki has invaded the Andaman Islands and some of the Nicobar Islands apparentlky via the Andaman Sea although a western approach through the Bay of Bengal is also possible. The two groups of islands are separated from the rest of India by approximately 1,300 km of the Bay of Bengal.

Neither Dong Nguyen nor Hun Sen nor any other Parti Républicain member have made any comment on the situations arising around Pyeki. The Andaman Islands and Nicobar Islands together for an arc from a peninsula near Yangon, Pyeki to the island of Sumatra, also part of Pyeki. The capturing of the islands by Pyeki forces would essentially leave the Pyeki Empire to do anything within the Andaman Sea although it is likely they have not thought of that.
