A recently published memo has stated that we The Republic of Lurikastan has declared war on The Particularly Grand Duchy of Caffeinneburg, for inhumane treatments of it's citizens. Any country who supports us let me know. If you however choose to ally yourselves with The Particularly Grand Duchy of Caffeinneburg, we will issue a declaration of war against you.

The nation of Orbath would like to inquire as to what types of inhumane treatment the nation of Caffeinneburg is accused of committing.

That is no reason for war. There are nations that are like that. You can not declare war over what another Government does.

OOC: A bit hyppocrital isn't it? Telling them they can't declare war on another nation for its government's actions, then declaring war on them for their actions.

The nation of Orbath encourages you to retract your declaration of war and attempt to settle this with the pen and not the sword. Although Dictators seem evil to some, there are cases in which the people support their Dictator. If you feel this is not the case, perhaps you should instead enact economic sanctions.

We have considered a more diplomatic approach, however President Pope Ron Paul I, has convinced the Senate that they have Lurikastani Hostages. Despite Numerous attempts I have failed to convince the senate otherwise. By a vote of 80-20 the Lurikastan Senate passed a declaration of war. Reasons cited are Human rights, and the supposed Prisoners. Paul signed the Declaration. However I have taken the liberty of Drafting a Treaty that will end this war. Hopefully it will be in effect by 08:00 AM EDT on May 3, 2008 when the initial bombing of Caffeinneburg will commence.

The Premier, upon hearing the news, simply stated, "Eh, let them fight. It'll teach those young ones to stop meddling around in others affairs."

That is excellent news! Hopefully no bomb will ever have to fall. Regarding the situation with your hostages, will the treaty ensure their safe return?

Well, If it passes yes, but Caffeinneburg will also have to agree with it.

This issue will be voted on at 5:00AM EDT May 3 2008. All members are expected to show up and vote. As a nation's inalieable right to sovereignty is a tennant of Belkan society, know that Belkan forces will meet whatever armed forces your nation sends to Caffeinneburg, particularly considering the fact that the facts you cite as 'human rights violations' were true in Belkaros less than a year ago. Please, come to your senses and end this pointless and immoral conflict before it begins.

We as many others might want to, would like to see what evidence is there to support, your claims for war. we also implore others not to jump to the stick when words will do the job, how ever if words fail here we would be willing to offer some support against obvious militaristic and imperialist actions of this nation, but until either is proven we reserve our judgment and remain on stand by

In an early vote the senate came to a deadlock at 50-50, It is up to Vice Pres. Josh Faulkner who voted to go to war. We need some international interverence, as i dont support this issue, (nor does the majority). A international Resolution is the only way out. As our constitution dosen't allow The Senate to do so.

Olba- May 3 A recall election is set to take place on Pres. Paul I, the polls will open at 9AM and will Close at 7PM, however this is not in time to stop the bombing. Running against him is fellow party-member Mikhail Petkov and a member of the Communist Party Demetri Petrov. The winner will be appointed after he has clearly won. Innagruation however will happen tomorrow, the winner will not have sworn in though. He will still have the powers of the presidency.
