Foreign Relations Act 2008
BE IT ENACTED by the King’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Upper and Lower Houses in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Maintaining a belief that international openness is key in promoting economic development and cultural exchange, the Kingdom of Dragons Bay hereby decrees that foreign nations may establish diplomatic relations with the Kingdom and vice versa. Foreign nations may open embassies in Dragons City and send appropriate diplomatic missions to fulfil regular ambassadorial and consular functions.
An Embassy Area shall be established in Dragons City for foreign nations to open their respective embassies. It shall compose of all the street blocks bordered by North Coast Drive, Sai Wan Road, Royal Avenue, and Kensington Avenue.
All embassies enjoy the right of extraterritoriality within bounds of accepted customary international law.
All officially accredited foreign diplomatic personnel enjoy diplomatic immunity within bounds of accepted customary international law. All applications for diplomatic immunity must be approved by the Minister of Foreign Affairs beforehand.
Embassies may employ a reasonable number of armed guards for maintaining security. These guards must be officially accredited by the sending nation. All guards and their arms must be approved by the Minister of Home Affairs beforehand.
Foreign nations may apply for mutual diplomatic recognition via Forum or Telegram by filling out the form below. The Monarch of the Kingdom of Dragons Bay reserves the right to accept or reject any offer of diplomatic recognition from another nation.
The Monarch and the Parliament of the Kingdom of Dragons Bay reserves the right to amend this Bill.
