The Rookie flew in his prop bird. Why they had to continuously fly recon over this cesspool, he had no idea. No one lived in this direction, at least that he knew of... then he saw it. The gleam of metal. He flew closer and saw that it was a column of armour. He pulled up as the armour noticed him. Men opened hatches to shoot at him, but he was already out of range, screaming home to report.

The Invasion had come.

OOC: Summary, an overland invasion from one land-locked country to another. Both sides are prepared...and need RP'ers. List of needed players: Invader and allies, allies of defender...innocent bystanders? Please post a continuation (or elaboration) and say what side your on.

OOC: I'm willing to play a not-so-innocent bystander, like a factory worker turned rebel in an occupied city, if that's okay with you.

ooc: i'd like to rp a merc unit working w/ the invaders since my country isn't militaristic...

"We gotta runner," my wingman radioed. I glanced over to her, the gleaming wing of her F-15C reflecting sunlight towards me.

"Right, got 'em," I replied as the blip appeared on my radar.

"We got a request from the Big Boss," she continued, "Seek and destroy. I've already activated ECM."

"Well, he won't be calling in for help," I joked, dipping my wing before diving in for the kill. The craft was a propeller-driven recon-not exactly the challenge I was hoping for-but a kill was a kill.

Later on as I climb out of my aircraft, I let out a sigh. I signed on with this outfit for the challenge of war, not to support some morons with their idiot agendas. My name is Andelko Dragičević, formerly of the Commonwealth Air Defense Command. It was a good enough gig, but with a peace-loving president, work as a combat pilot had become dull and unfulfilling. From her own fighter, Zvonimira Ljuna, my wingman, walks over to me. I'd talked her into following me to our current employers, Défense Internationale Ltd. I hoped this job would get more exciting soon, it'd been a while since I had met a worthy opponent.

ooc: i'm willing to also RP the invading force, if necessary, but as a different nation than my own.
