PROTOCOL ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN THE FREE ABSOLUTIST EMPIRE OF NEO-IXANIA AND THE KINGDOM OF DRAGONS BAY

The Free Absolutist Empire of Neo-Ixania and the Kingdom of Dragons Bay

Desiring to develop friendship and cooperation between the two countries;

Inspired by the principles of mutual respect for sovereignty, equality, territorial integrity and non-interference in internal affairs;

Having in mind the purposes and principles of the World Assembly;

Being committed to the maintenance of international peace and security;

Have decided to establish diplomatic relations as from the date of signature of this Protocol, in accordance with customary international law regarding diplomatic relations.

The Free Absolutist Empire of Neo-Ixania and the Kingdom of Dragons Bay share the firm conviction that the establishment of diplomatic relations is in the national interest of both States and that it will further the strengthening of world peace and cooperation.

DONE at Dragons City on 1 May 2008, in duplicate in the Neo-Ixanian and Chinese languages, both texts being equally authentic.

It has come to my attention that certain details on the Protocol are erronous. I have been authorised by His Majesty Timothy I to make the following amendment to the Protocol:

The clause: "Having in mind the purposes and principles of the World Assembly;" shall be deleted from the Protocol.

This amendment does not affect any rights either nation has under customary international law.
