Activation. A whir, a buzz, a flash of light. The screen flickers briefly as it readies the video feed for playing, and as a white screen finally hisses into vibrance, a sing songy female voice begins to speak, her voice hinting ever so slightly at cybernetic voice apparati.
“Greetings,” She cooed, “And welcome to the Catilio Corporation.” The screen panned out to show clean streets, filled with elaborate cars and well cared for buildings crediting much labour on the good appearance of its conditions and infrastructure. “The Catilio Corporation is a massive conglomerate which strives at the production of high quality defensive systems to be exported across the globe. Large manufactorums grace the expanse of our lands, however much time and effort is spent to ensure only the highest level of care for the environment despite the manufactorum’s colossal size. We have employed some five billion workers, all of whom are quite eager to work, well cared for, and share enormous pride in their labours. At the Catilio Corporation, efficiency is everything. We maintain large numbers of cybernetic factory machines which mass produce all products which we create here. The Catilio Corporation truly is a state of the art nation dedicated to the pursuit of equality, success, and cohesion. A guiding beacon to the future.”
The Camera panned over again to a mass expanse of concrete parade grounds which were laden with armoured vehicles, tanks, and infantrymen dressed in their respective black combat suits. The voice continued, “The Corporation is defended by our own personal defense force, the State Guard. These elite warriors, selected from amongst the workers, are highly skilled and adept in all manners of policing and security detail. All criminal behavior is dealt with most harshly as this is counter-productive to the cohesion of the Corporation and efficiency. Thus this must be treated with the utmost severity. Efficiency is everything.”
