The Imperial Democracy of Cazelia

It was a clear morning, quite hot; at least for Ingram, who was wearing an old pattern IDMC uniform. He didn't mind.
Three men were next to him. One in a wheelchair, the other two in civilian clothing, although they were clearly government officials of some sort.
One of the men, an overweight and bald Mexican man pointed towards an incoming aircraft
"Senior Hasley, is that the plane we're waiting for?" He said
"Yeah, I think so, I'll get the rifle" Ingram looked through the telescopic sight of his M14
"Yeah, that's them. Roberto, are the Humvees ready for their arrival?"
"Yes Senior" Answered Roberto
The man in the wheelchair rubbed his hands together "I'm so delighted Lord Sumguy has decided to come to my nation. I haven't seen him since the civil war" He said
"Yes Senior Hogart, I share your excitement. I almost shit myself when I heard the news!" Exclaimed Roberto. The others looked at him curiously
The fourth man, a rather small Kal'Har of 18 years looked up at Ingram
"Is he really as nice as you have told us? The chiefs told me he was an evil monster" He said
"The chiefs are wrong then. Lord Sumguy is a very nice man and deserves your respect, Serilius" Replied Ingram
"Yes Sir"
As the aircraft taxied to a halt, the group moved themselves to the aircraft. They were followed by a platoon of Ghost infantry carrying G109A1 rifles.
Hogart straightened his tie while Roberto straightened his red bandanna.
The entire group waited for the Royal family to exit the aircraft. One of the Ghost soldier's knees buckled from excitement...

The door to the airplane opened, and a staircase slowly unfolded from it. Out of the plane stepped Captain Wall, who proceeded down the steps. The bodyguard's appearance had fundamentaly changed since his last trip to cazelia. Then he had been intimidating, now his mere presence inspired fear in those present. His face was sunken, his eyes tormented, as a cross dangled from a small chain that was wrapped around his hand He silently regarded the group, his face expressionless.

A moment later, the Hegemon emerged. Dressed in an elegant suit, he flashed a brilliant smile upon seeing the group waiting for him. Upon stepping onto the pavement, he spoke. "It is good to see you again, Ingram." He said, approaching the man in question.

Roberto and Serilius saluted Lord Sumguy. Ingram and Hogart approached him
"It has truly been a while, my friend" Said Ingram, bowing. He tunred his head to Wall, who had clearly changed
"I do not believe we have met. My mother told me about your bravery at the Imperial Ball before she died however. It is truly an honor, Captain"

Lord Sumguy bowed in turn, and approached Hogart, extending his hand to be shaken. "And it is a pleasure to meet you, sir."

Wall nodded. "Likewise." He said. He looked as though he were constantly slightly horrified by something, and closed his eyes for a moment as a tremor passed through him.

The men led the Royal Family through the airport terminal where a full platoon of Marines waited.
Outside there was what looked like a light armor company. There was a black Stryker APC and a few Humvees. Ingram led the Hegemon and his family to the APC
"I'm sorry for the lack of luxury, but it seems that some people with monarchist, communist and vengeful views don't like you. 95% of our population does however" He helped Hogart up into the APC. The Marine manning the CROWS turret looked at them
"It's an honor, Mr. Sumguy. I'll be your remote gunner today"
The vehicles began their trip to the ferry terminal which would lead to Ingram's house on a small island just off Yarkai.

Queen Hannah walked in silence with Nathan holding her hand. She had never visited Cazelia and had not even known the plan until her husband had told her and she was feeling even worse then before. She helped Nathan into the APC and got herself in. she just continued to watch and laugh wondering if they would even say hello.

OOC: sorry, i didnt get much of a warning myself. We can have this start after the cancer treatment is finished and Hannah has mostly recovered.

Outside things were unlike the protective Stryker. Snipers dotted the rooftops, watching out for assassins or those pesky Kal'Har that wanted to take Lord Sumguy's life. Marines had been stationed on the roads and UH-60s flew air patrols.
Ingram sighed "I'm sorry the start of your vacation has to be so filled with protection. I assure you, once we get to my place it'll be safe as ever. No-one could hope to penetrate the island with what they have now."
Hogart attempted to bow to the queen but because of his disability he could not
"It's an honor to meet you Queen Hannah, you don't know how much your husband has told me about you." He looked at Nathan "Your father has saved my life on many occasions. I hope you're proud of him" He said nicely

Ingram had to interrupt "Lord Sumguy, Queen Hannah. We have unconfirmed intelligence that a man named Walking...Walks....Walker, has attempted to kill you both during your trip to Neo-Ixania. I need some information if I am going to adequately protect you; I need to know if he has any contacts that you know of, what his previous role was and what he has against you"

"He has contact with one of my brothers but I don't know where he he is. He was last seen almost dead so I do think he's recovering somewhere".

"Good, so he isn't a threat for the time being. So your brother is Prince Robert, I assume?" Said Ingram, marking something off on a checklist
The gunner couldn't help but laugh
"If we find this Robert guy here, we'll make sure he'll be coming back in a few pieces" He joked, revealing himself to be Sgt. Knight, Ingram's longtime bodyguard
"Hey, I didn't know you were working with us as well Senior Knight" Said Roberto

The convoy came to a stop at a small ferry terminal guarded by a few dozen Ghosts from the 666th Special Forces Division. Two men opened the doors and Ingram quickly disembarked from the vehicle
"I hope none of you guys have seasickness." He jokingly commented as he lighted himself a cigarette and led the visitors onto the ferry.

Wall took Nathan onto the ferry, as the Hegemon stayed by the vehicle to help his wife out. "How long will it take to reach our destinaton, Mr. Hogart?" He asked, concern for Hannah's condition evident upon his features.

"Thirty minutes. We have food on the ship" He answered and wheeled himself into the boat
Ingram shrugged "The food isn't fancy, but it's what we eat around here. You ever eaten lobster chowder?" He asked Lord Sumguy while flicking Serilius a cigarette and his lighter and walked up to the Hegemon; putting his arm around his neck like he was going to to tel him something secret
"Lord Sumguy, I don't know if I can take my wife anymore. I've lost my love for her, and she's tried to kill me three times, and is now becoming the High General for Martin Watson's new dictatorship. I don't know what to do, even now I think that she's more of an enemy than a friend"

OOC: waiting for UK2 to post

Hannah put on her sunglasses hiding her eyes from the hurtful rays. She refused her husband's help and got out of the car by herself. Through her cancer treatments Hannah had gotten grumpy and mean towards anyone; she had yelled at Nathan for no reason while getting on to the ferry. She sat down looking at the sea and the fish jumping out of the water. Tears come down her face has she attemped to hid them.

After an hour long ride, the ferry docked at a small terminal. The sign read 'NEW ORLOCK'. Ingram helped Hogart off the ship while Serilius stood next to Nathan, using himself as a shield in case some lunatic with a gun decided to aim for the kid.
There was a limousine waiting in the parking lot with 8 men in black suits standing next to it
"We're here to deliver you to the General's residence. please enter the vehicle"
