The executions of a summer's day [MT]
10 men, all wearing black bags over their head, were loaded into a military transport vehicle. The last, 10th man, froze in his tracks and refused to move. He stopped, and stood still as if he couldn't move any more, and was as straight as straight could be.
"Move dammit!" yelled a soldier, but the man still stood still. The soldier hit the man in the back with his rifle, as the man fell to the floor. "Get up!"
The man still refused to move. That was when 5 soldiers lifted him, and threw him into the transport truck.
It was an extremely hot summer day, and the inside of the truck was burning up. The prisoners were locked away in the back of the transport vehicle, which was completely closed off and without air conditioning, and had to be at least 120 - 130 degrees Fahrenheit. One man nearly fainted, but was stopped by the chains that attached him to the seat, which were also burning hot from the sun.
The vehicle drove for 20 minutes, then came to a stop. A soldier wearing a beret opened the doors, and punched one of the prisoners in the face. They were all brought out, and lead to a courtyard. It was a familiar place. Ten poles lined up, with chains, 30 meters away from ten shooting areas.
The condemned men were loaded onto the poles and tied in, except for the last man. In one last attempt to escape, he pushed a guard away, and tried to run, but another soldier hit him with the butt of his rifle.
"Fuck shooting this guy" said a soldier, and 5 surrounded him. "No! Wait!" said the condemned man, with his black hood off. The 5 soldiers started stabbing him with their bayonets until he stopped moving, and then walked away as if he were nothing.
30 seconds passed from this incident, and a trumpet sounded. "Ready!" yelled a colonel. "Aim!" The ten soldiers in position aimed their high powered .328 caliber rifles aimed at the prisoners. "FIRE!"
A barrage of rounds expelled, as 7 of the 9 men slumped forward. The last two men were taken out when their shooters let bursts of shots hit their bodies. A few mens' brains were exploded against the execution poles.
Then, a soldier went to each executed prisoner, and shot him in the head with a pistol, then took him off of the pole. Their bodies were dragged 50 feet, and thrown into a grave together, and filled up with construction equipment.
"Today, 10 fascists were executed," said the colonel. He saluted a superior ranked soldier, and the unit loaded back into their vehicles and drove away. 5 of them were foreign intelligence soldiers, as well as the man who was bayoneted. Dashie and Max Beagle (Dashie's neighbor) were on the brink of performing genocide against Derbarian (A neighbor to Max Beagle) nationals.
"History is on our side," said a Dashie general who had watched the execution, as he lit a cigar celebrating another days' work.

OOC: I feel liek something differant today, so I'm RPing as a German journalist in Dashie trying to investigate reports of human rights abuses. If that's not what you had in mind, this post never existed. If you're okay with it, please have a character answer the phone call.
IC: Dashie, region with substantial Derbarian population
It was late, far too late for this, and Klaus Ohm, Dashie correspondant for the Süddeutscher Zeitung, felt like his bones were made of lead. Jet lag wasn't helping. He had only just flown in, but there was no time to lose. He was looking at what was quite possibly a fully-fledged ethnic cleansing scenario, word had to get out... not to mention that the man from the Berliner Morgenpost would be on the scene soon.
Before him were arrayed all the photographs he had got from official bulletins. He had only been able to trace down the time-stamped originals for a few, and nothing very incriminating was emerging. But it was something to have.
"I've got your number, sir."
"Thanks, Karin. Prompt me. I've been up all night, I feel like shit."
"Right. Here it is."
His translator-cum-secretary, Karin Dethmar, handed him a fat yellow-pages or whatever they called it here, with one number underlined: Press Office, Dashie Army Local Command. He dailed carefully. Karin was already furiously scribbling notes on a piece of scrap paper.
"Hello.... Yes, a journalist. I'm from Germany... The, uh, "South German Times", we're pretty big... I'm afraid my Dashie isn't very good, you'll have to forgive me, I repeat, "South German Times". Important paper... Yes, very much... Well, I'd be interested in accompanying an army unit, me and my translator, and seeing operations first hand... I definately agree with the idea of military secrets but I'd like to sign a clear agreement on this... so, sir, what's the decision?"
OOC: Cool!
The Commander on duty answered the phone.
"Well, though our troops normally don't take too kind to outsiders, I could stick you on... uh... (he pulls out a map and looks at it) uh... dog company of the 12st armored division. They're in the a nearby city right now, on R and R (OOC: a "good" unit that isn't committing genocide)."
OOC: If you want, you can press him for a unit closer to the 'action.'
The commander put his hand on the phone and signaled to a lower ranked soldier to come over.
"Our operations have been leaked," he said.
"What operations?" said the lower ranking soldier, "you mean the ongoing tragedies of 'rogue, corrupt military forces'?"
"Exactly," said the General. "Find out more about these people. I don't want them making waves. Find out who their families are."
He puts the phone back to his ear. "Yes, hello?"

OOC: What is the back story to this thread and the facists? Are they linked to your now defunct royal government?
The reason why I ask is because I am considering taking part in this thread.

Unit 2 was in. Crawling slowly across the grass, he radioed in.
2:"I'm in."
G. Hunt: "We can't afford any casualities until you find out what exactly is going on. Find a higher-up, and make a 'friend' of him"
2: "Yes sir"
Unit two knew this wasn't going to be easy. It never was. He started towards the camp that was suspected to house some of the soldiers. Getting up, he started towards one of the men. Quickly putting his hand over his mouth, he reached to slit his throat, but remembered his no-kill policy. Taking out some chloroform, he switched his hand for the soaked rag. Leaving the man's body in the tall grass he continued into the building. Sneaking through, he saw a single man working at his desk, having a conversation with another man. Hiding closly near, he listened to their conversation. He heard only bits and pieces, "rogue, corrupt military forces", "Executed", " Facist". He waited until the other man left the room to make a new friend. Grabbing the man sitting in the chair, he pulled him outside, slowly as to avoid capture, and also to provide a clear signal to his supiriors. "Tell me, what exactly are you doing? And who are rogue, corrupt military forces?" Unit two made a small incision on the man's shoulder to remind him how sharp his knife was...
OOC: I'll delete this if you want me to. Or edit it.

OOC: The genocide is versus the Derbarians, which are a large, southern nation that has a dictator. The lower part of Dashie's neighbor (Max Beagle) has a large Derbarian population / separatist movement. The Max Beagle / Dashie government (they're fused together) is executing them.

They're slice your balls off and feed them to the chickens! AHHHHHH! Okay... I'm a commander of the missions that happen in the mountains (mountains bordering Derbaria, they stretch pretty much across the border). I don't know anything else! I swear!"
OOC backstory: The missions he's refering to are going from village to village and arresting people to send to execution.

"Oh, I've been in warzones before, sir. I was in Transylvania during the Szeckler war, you may have heard of it, so I'm sure I'll cope with your men. Indeed, I'd be interested in seeing exactly what is being done against the fascists in the south of the country. People in my country like to feel that people like that are being smashed, somewhere far away."
From the word "fascists" onwards, Klaud was displaying his crossed fingers to Karin. Now, he took a deep breath and waited for the response.

Unit two smiled. "Good man. So what are the missions in the mountains? What are you doing there? And spare me no details."

The commander spit on the man. "I'll never tell!" he yelled, hoping that one of the nearby sentries would hear.

The German reporter was now talking to the Commander's number two man (OOC: Conservative Morality's torturing the Commander right now :mp5:).

Unit Two frowned. "Listen, I have a no-kill rule on this mission, and I need you to talk!" He hissed "Now, normally I'm a nice guy, but I ALSO like breaking rules. So I suggest you tell me what the hell your 'missions' are NOW" He pressed his knife further up aganst the commanders throat. If he screamed again, unit two was prepared...
Commander: "Okay! Okay! ... In the mountains... There's a prisoner camp... Twelve prisoners... You can't let them out! They're extremely dangerous!"
He was gasping in fear from the special forces soldiers' blade.

"Good. Now this will only hurt after you wake up..." He quickly knocked the commander out. He'd be feeling that bump in the morning.
2: "It seems they have prisinors in the mountains. The Commander claimed that they were dangerous. Orders?"
G. Hunt: "Check the camps. You can't afford to be spotted, you still can't have any deaths. Talk to one of the prisoners."
2: "Will do."
Unit Two crept up towards the mountain camp. He could see the small fire at the center in the distance. He crept slowly in fear of being caught...
The camp was small. There were two sentries in the towers, and 3 soldiers guarding the two buildings that housed the prisoners. It was fenced in. All of the ground soldiers were in the same area, having a smoke, and talking to each other. They were huddled around a fire, and nothing else, including the prisoner housing, was lit.

Unit two crept towards the fence. This would be easier then he thought. He quickly threw a grenade to the other side of the fence, and watched as it exploded.

[OOC: I would call a serious godmode right here. You throw the grenade, and then claim that the Dashie guards examine the explosion. Then, you assume that you can climb over the fence, and then you somehow find a prisoner and talk to him without letting Dashie RP anything.]

"What was that!?" yelled a guard in Dashie. The soldiers jumped up and ran to the prisoners' barracks.
"Sound the alarm!" yelled a soldier. A soldier ran for the alarm, which was in the line of fire of the special forces, but he didn't know it.

Unit two quickly radioed in
2: "How flexible is my no-kill policy? I've got a man outside of my reach going for the alarm."
G. Hunt: " Dammit two, you were supposed to do this quietly. You'll have to kill him."
Unit two quickly pulled out his pistol, and fired ten shots. Two at the man going for the alarm, and the other eight at the troops at the prison house...
The man running for the alarm took two bullets, one to the chest, and one to the head, and fell to the ground.
One of the two soldiers was hit in the stomach and the arm, but didn't fall.
They returned fire with automatic assault rifles, more of guessing where the shooters were instead of actually seeing them. "Guard the prisoners!" yelled one of the soldiers. "Don't let them escape alive!" The soldier who was hit then staggered, and fell to the ground.
Meanwhile, the snipers in the towers did not know where the shooting was coming from, but trained their sniper rifles to the back of the camp.

Unit two sunk down to the ground. If captured, he'd have no way out, CM never officially authorized this attack on any of it's records. He pulled a flash bang and threw it over the wall...
"Agh!" yelled the soldier who had been flashbanged. He fell over and rolled around on the ground. His weapon was nowhere to be seen.
Suddenly, the prisoner barracks door was kicked open, and out came a prisoner, running full speed!

"Unit C... right, thank you. Please tell them to look out for me."
Klaus hung up and breathed a sigh of relief.
"We're in. Can you get on the internet and find where "Unit C, First infantry Divison" has its HQ? I'll pack the car."
"Okay."
Suddenly, the sniper in the back tower fired a shot at a second prisoner who walked out of the barracks. It struck him in the head, and he fell to the ground. Then, a third prisoner was shot in the leg, and lunged back to safety.
The camp where Unit C was housed was moderate in size, and had the Max Beagle flag flying above its barracks. Two guards were guarding the entrance, which was on a closed road a bit in front of the camp. The area was pretty forested, and the camp was hard to find, as it could only be accessed through back roads.
A guard stepped forward. "You are not authorized to ent- Ahh... hold on... (He speaks into his radio) Oh... Journalists? Hmm... Okay... Go ahead."

"Shit!" Unit two quickly returned fire, but he couldn't keep it up. He was on his third clip, and only had one more. He emptied the entire clip, and ran towards the prisoner in hopes of pulling him back behind the fence, preferably WITHOUT him getting shot...
The sniper got hit in the leg. "Aghhhh!!!" He yelled, and began to climb down from the tower.
The soldier who was flashbanged ran off without a fight.
The prisoner: "Thank you for savings me. 9 more prisoner in ... uh... house. They chained in and can't get free."
