I haven't seen "I am Legend" yet, so I need to know a bit about how the virus works and how it spreads. i.e. does it work like a zombie infection (can you get infected from bites and such?)

OCC: my guy is in Northern California, but we should wait before we meet eachother. and the virus spreads through the air and physical contact, but since you are alive you would have to be immune, so death may only occur from extreme physical damage not the virus.

Bio: Not much is known about McCoy except that he was sent to a military academy at an early age and that he was briefly romantically involved with a girl named Gertrude Svengaard. He is also a devout Catholic. He is currently residing in the backwoods of Maine. (he is also connected to the virus KV)

indeed, the ending of the story will be a big cross country adventure to get to maryland to the survivors colony.

well, Kash(me) just had to much to drink and he just woke up before sunlight, delerious he needs to get his ass moving. the others are in Pennysylvania, washington DC: im in San Andreas California(northern) and am broadcasting messages on a radio.

bio: was a genius backyard chemist and engineer during high school, then couldn't find a job after graduation due to psych/social problems, became a general laborer out of desperation and the need to keep himself fed. Owns a converted bio-diesel that he bought in Olympia, knows how to shoot due to illegal hunting and growing up in the woods of WA state, also knows how to use a bow and arrow. Owns a Winchester model 30-30 with a 5x scope afixed to a modified rail system (hand made) and a 200 lb compund bow + a standard hunting knife and a sword and shield combo (cause ya never know what you might need in a pinch)

looks: Tall, brown hair blue eyes and white. Hawk Is in great physical shape and has excellent reflexes.
Bio: Owen Hawk joined the army straight out of high school at age 18. He went into basic and had excellent scores in Marksmanship and Physical fitness. After two years service he was sent to officers training and picked up Hand to hand combat as a hobby. He served in an unknown but it is suspected that he was a part of spec ops. He resurfaced 4 years later and retired with a full pension. He is apparently immune to the virus. There was a range in the basement of his house and he has a HK XM-29 SABR OICW and a para Ordinance LDA nite tac SS along with 30 mags for both. He is carrybating everything in his black Mitsubishi Evo. Soon after the virus struck he ran into two "undead" and took them both out. After that incident he grabbed a Benelli Nova combat shotgun. He is well supplied with food and water but Gas will be an issue.

He was a bodybuilder, ex-boxer, and personal trainer and so is in good shape with many toned muscles to show off.
Bio: Born of Cossack blood Vladamir joined the Armed Forces of the Russian Federatrion at 19. After a few years there he eventually enlisted into the Spetnaz, Russia's Special Ops regiments. When the infection hit, he was training up in Sibera during the winter. The infection had difficulty spreading up in Siberia due to the near constant below freezing temperatures. Thus, him and his regiment survived. However having made their way back to Moscow after nearly dying of starvation due to no responses from the military, his regiment quickly succumbed to the infection and he survived in the city for a few months before taking some other Russian survivors up with him to Siberia to live with a tribe of natives that were still free of infection due to the cold temperatures. However increasingly warm temperatures right now, during the spring, have let some infection through and forced Vladamir to execute more tribesmen than he'd ever like.

Bio: Omar Williams was born in the Baltimore Maryland ghetto. He had a hard life the first 15 years, being jacked of his bike all the time. When he was 14 his entire family was brutally murdered by unknown assailints. When he was 18 he joined the US marines. He then served in the Iraq war for five years until he was sent home due to an unknown virus hitting the U.S. He was informed that many people were going crazy and attacking people and he was incharge of protecting people. When everyone he knew had been killed by the virus and he was the last person around, he traveled to Malibu, California. He currently lives there with his black lab, Nina.
