Urstania

Urstania was a planet that was under the harsh and oppressivly suffocating rule of the party of URSCOL (Urstanian Collectivism) it has been ruling the planet now for over 82 years.
Before the "Urscol Revolution" the Urstanian administration had reseach beacons and stations on Brenisen a neighboring planet to Urstania. But since the revolution the aim of the party was to isolate the people declaring all Urstania needs is itself and no contact with the outside what so ever. Urstania completely cut all of its links and travel off the planet's surface was banned.
During the revolution a few managed to flee anyway they could to the neighboring planet. Like Urstania it too was a barren dusty planet. though Benisen had no civilization or intelligent life on it. it had great caverns, caves, cliffs and canyons.
Without any food the having to adjust to the new environment the refugees of the revolution quickly died. only the ones with the strongest willpower could make it thorugh each day
To make matters worse for the Refugees and exiles the planet was teeming with hostile life. Canyon serpent creatures that lived (and most probably made the caves and caverns) in the ground in caves and tunnels and on the floor of the canyons.

Andrea was a surviving exile. Her great grand parents fled the revolution. Her grandparents survived a sad existance on whatever they could find. by the time her parents were born they were much more aware of thier environment though not aware enough to save them and their horrible deaths from some of the hostile creatures. Only Andrea thier daughter survived the raid from the creatures. Her mother hid the 15 yearold girl in a secret hatch which had a system of tunnels leading outside the camp though it was a tight sqeeze only a girl as young as Andrea would could of escaped.
10 years had passed now.
Andrea was now 25. She had a nice figure. She was extremely fit and athletic and acrobatic. Her hair was shoulder legnth and it was as black as it could get.
She had quite a pale completction and her eyes were very light at first glace it might look like very light blue colour but they were actually grey.
She had survived mainly by running from any creature (though she knew how to fight if needed) and cooking and eating the smaller harmless animals.
She had never been in contact with another human or intelligent creature for over 10 years.
She said to herself a year ago that her biggest plan was to raid any remant of civilization (destroyed refigee camps and abandoned research stations from before revolution) and collect as much techonology that would be needed to get her off the hell of a planet she hated so much.

PRESENT DAY
Andrea knelt over the hole. It was extremely dark she couldnt see anything down the hole. She was standing on the roof of a half burried building. She assumed it was an old research station. Andrea dumped her backpack beside her and tied one of the back straps around a small antennae sticking out.
she pulled down some goggles over her eyes and flicked a switch on the side which would let her see through the darkness.
The climate of the planet was cold, it was a dry dusty cold planet.
She wore a faded blue coat which was quite long and went down to her knees
she also wore big black boots taht went up past her knees and a black top and some very short black shorts.
Andrea connected some rope up to the antennae the same one as the backpack and threw the remaining area of rope down the hole which she would use to get back out of the half buried building after she would raid it.
She jumped down the hole. Thank to the goggles she could see all around her. It looked like an abandoned research station. Andrea scanned a lagre row of broken and aged machniary type computers linning the wall.
Andrea was too busy looking over the computer wall machine she wasnt looking where she was standing
CRACK
Andrea gasped and looked down. she had stepped through the skull of a dead scientist he was holding something it was some sort of small metal container
Andrea curiously bent over and picked up the metal box and pryed it open. inside was a book of some sort.
Andrea opened it at a random page it was a log or diary probably belonging to the dead scientist

There seems to be some sort o trouble in Urstania. Strikes and demonstrations or something? well I dont know if its true we arent told anything in this stupid station I only rely on rumours for news. I havnt even herd from my family. Something about confidentiality. Its not like anything we are doing here is a risk to anybody just research on the creatures and atmosphere for furture colonization.

The guards had to take out some of those stupid creatures on the premises. dont they realize they arent going to get in. I guess they must be starving or desperate or something. Well as long as those soldiers are with us they'll have to continue killing the stupid things.

WHAT THE HELL! I woke up to the sound of smashing and destruction I ran out and I see our own guards trashing everything. I tried to stop them but they just smashed me in the face and kept me under arrest in my room. They said something about abandoning all Brenisen projects! the guards are being recalled back to Urstania anyway. doesnt make anysense why arent we told anything!

Well its looks like the end. after the guards left the planet they locked out all transport off the planet. apparently we dont fit in this new Urstania. or something well anyway they woudlnt let us leave and without the guards those creatures could come back! Me and the other scientists blocked all the main entrances from now on we will have to enter and exit using the sun roof. not that any of us want to go out there anyway

Kenneth and Grant were killed last night. it was a horrid struggle with some other kind of creature. They were some sort of flying thing sort of like a bat but massive and it didnt look like it had any skin it was just a red meaty thing with claws like you woudlnt believe. We eventually blundgened it but they will be back. Maybe I should kill myself before they can get me.

We lost contact with Lores Station an hour ago. I guess we are the only ones left we can assume all the scientists there are dead. Ron and I found some capsules. were the only ones left. were going to take those capsules and it will all be over damn I didnt think I would ever need to use these things
oh well its over.......
Andrea put the book on the computer machine next to her when THUD
Andrea was thrown to the ground. her goggles were knocked off her face and they flung across the ground. everything was dark for her.
She pulled out a small rod that was tucked into a strap around her boot
She clicked a button and it released a bolt of electricity out off the tip and hit some large beast that was standing over her. It had a fat abdomen with 4 pointed legs then the upper body held 2 long arms with viscious claws at the end of them. The beast howled
Andrea bridged up and did a backflip and picked up the goggles. to create distance between her and the beast she did more back flips and then when she felt confident strapped the goggles back over her face so she could see.
She pulled out a dagger from the belt around her waste and threw it at the beast. the dagger sliced and plowed through the upper chest of the beast and it let out another howl It then began to charge towards Andrea
"Shit!" Andrea grabbed out 2 more daggers from her belt the held them in her hands. she also began charging towards the beast then at the right moment she dropped to the ground and slid through its legs she lifted the daggers and they sliced through the legs. the creature crumpled to the ground.
