Unrestricted Navel Warfare (P/MT; OOC)

Ignore the (P/MT) part of the title this is past tech (WWII).

Apologies if this is too cheesy, but I want to give it a "gaming feel" and as most of us know games have a habit of being cheesy.

This here rp is going to be like FEAR, but better. It will be better organized and everything. Not only that, but will challenge the players like no other naval based rp has challenge them before. Where no one is your friend and the lost of a single ship can mean defeat. Where your NS tech cannot save you, where population does not matter or post count. Everyone is equal here and everyone can win just as how they can loose. Think your up for unrestricted naval warfare? Then by all means, join.

The following is everything you will need to join:

- Each player starts off with a chain of islands. Every chain of islands is about five times as big as Hawaii in size and shape. The chain of islands can produce limited amount of products like food, clean drinking water, metals, tools, etc. Islands also have ports to safe guard ships in your navy as well as repair them and resupply them. Otherwise you must purchase defense and protect the island with your ships. Once your islands are lost you loose your main way of resupplying your ships. If you loose your islands you do not loose the game, it just becomes harder to play. If you conquer another player's islands you can use it as your own, but you can not build defenses on it thus your navy has to protect it (which it should even if it has defenses).

-At the beginning of every RL week a Mu Cepheian convoy will be deployed to each and every player's islands. Player's can intercept these convoys and stop them thus limiting the other player's supply gain. At the end of the RL week the convoy should arrive and will deliver basic supplies like food, water, weapons, tools, personnel, etc. These supplies are better then the ones your islands can produce so you really want the convoy to make it.

- Each player gets 100 points to build defenses on their islands with the following:

Defenses:
Artillery Type - Fire Power/Mobility - Price
Anti-Air Battery - Weak/Mobile - 5 Points
Anti-Air Guns - Powerful/Static - 5 Points
Anti-Ship Battery - Weak/Mobile - 5 Points
Anti-Ship Guns - Powerful/Static - 5 Points

Ground Pounders:
Type - Fire Power/Mobility - Force Make-Up - Price
Infantry - Weak/Slow - 1,000 = 1 Point
Mechanized Infantry - Okay/Okay - 1,000 Soldiers + 200 APCs - 4 Point
Armored Tanks - Powerful/Slow - 200 Tanks - 8 Points

Others:
Type - Fire Power/Mobility - Force Make-Up - Price
HQ - None/Static - None, but allows contact with resuppliers (me) and gives option of the three wishes (see below) - 10 Points
Firebase - Extremely High/Static - AA guns, AS guns, and Infantry - 10 Points
Airfield - Extremely High/Static - AA guns and can hold up to 40 aircraft - 10 Points
Reserve Navy Barracks - Weak/Mobile - 100,000 sailors who will replace dead sailors in ships that are in port - 5 Points
Reserve Army/Marine Barracks - Weak/Mobile - 100,000 soldiers who will replace dead soldiers/marines on/in your islands/ships (that are in port) - 5 Points
Reserve Air Force Barracks - Weak/Mobile - 100,000 pilots who will replace dead pilots on your airfields/ships (that are in port) - 5 Points

-Each player gets 100,000 points to build their navy. The following is a list of types of ships and their price (you may select any class of ship of that type, but it's price will stay the same):

Hospital ship - Medium - 6 Points
Torpedo Boat - Very Light - 2 Points
Submarine - Light - 5 Points
Submarine Chaser - Light - 5 Points
Survey Ship - Light - 5 Points
Mine Layer/Sweeper - Light - 5 Points

-As you can see you can build a very big navy which means you can do many things with your ships. You can have a reserve force, an offensive force, a defensive force, etc. The sky's the limit.

-As stated before the HQ building puts you in contact with me. The supplier. Need more food then usual? More ammo? More tanks? Hell, you need a replacement engine for your battleship? You may put in a request in your post in the form of OOC (if all your going to do is make a request do it on here). If accepted, the next time a Mu Cephei convoy visits your island you will receive the needed supplies.

-As also stated before the HQ gives you three "wishes." What are these wishes? Well, I am glad that you asked:
Wishes:
Wish Type - What it does - Price
Super Convoy - Mu Cephei doubles the size of the convoy and the amount of supplies you'll receive - 1 Wish
Air Raid! Air Raid! - Mu Cephei deploys a carrier and her escorts to attack another player's island or fleet - 1 Wish
Wolf Pack - Unrestricted submarine warfare a certain fleet or around another player's island - 1 Wish
Help! I'm sinking! - Mu Cepheian ships deploy to save the lives of sailors who are in a sinking ship - 1 Wish
We're Under Attack! - Mu Cepheian ships protect your island for one month - 2 Wishes
Enola Gay - Mu Cepheian carrier force deploys a single bomber and a small fighter escort. The bomber will do it's best to deploy it's "special" payload to the targeted fleet or island - 3 Wishes

-Every players island is exactly 40 days of travel at 10 knots apart from each other. The rp will use the timeframe of 1 RL week/1 NS month. This means that by the end of the first week your island, the one thing keeping your fleet alive, will be in danger.

-As the Game Master (GM) I hold the right to change the gaming environment as I please mid-game. So don't be surprised when a level four hurricane decides to chill over the playing field making huge waves thus making your ships' journey a living hell.

-The following is the proper way to request to join.

-As a side note. This is based off of what FEAR should have been. A fun interactive game, but depending on how this rp goes FEAR 2.0 will be base off of how this game is played.
